This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Albuquerque. The pizza is good and you can get a small one that's actually appropriate for one or two people. I don't like having to get a bigger pizza than I need so this is a plus. I will be honest - the reason to eat at Dion's is for their subs and the Greek dressing. And a pickle, never forget the pickle! Now that I no longer live in Albuquerque I dream of the Greek dressing. I've tried to convince people to bring some to me but to no avail so on my last visit guess who snagged some dressing to bring home? Oh, and all the raves about their Ranch dressing are spot on. I just happen to prefer the Greek. I've eaten at some of the other Dion's locations, including one outside of Albuquerque, but the one Montgomery will always be MY Dion's. Let me preface that I have been going to this location and many of the others since Dion's was located across the street from Eldorado High School and our family usually has Dion's at least once a month... With that being said, it must have been awhile since I had one of their salads? I don't know what has happened. I picked up a family size ranch salad (my fav) from this location on 11/27/18 to bring to a pot luck at my son's school. What have you done Dion's? The croutons were this flat, hard, tasteless disc and the salad itself, which looked fresh, just didn't taste the same. Honestly just tasteless with tooth breaking cardboard bread . Please tell me this isn't the new standard for your salads, especially the croutons. Pizza is great unfortunately this particular Dion's CANNOT seem to get service in order. Consistently have to wait 20 minutes or more past the time quoted or ordered. The full salad is a full salad for $5.75. The half salad is not half of that amount or price, I don't know where the word "half" comes into it. It is $4.00 and is about 1/4 the size. I would call it a side salad because this is not enough if you are only having salad. Iceberg lettuce, one grape tomato cut in half, six olives and a suggestion of feta cheese. If the person making this salad was trying to put feta cheese on this...they missed. It sucks when you have someone else pick up food for you and what comes back is a disappointment. We really like their pizza...that's pretty much what we order. This is the location closest to us so we will keep patronizing it. The only complaint I have is that the staff do not clean off tables. We have always had to ask for someone to clean the table. The floor is also not swept regularly. Both in the dining area and kitchen area. Perhaps it's because they are soooo busy. First off, I really like Dion's Pizza however today I witnessed something that makes me question doing business with them. This evening while I was waiting for my family salad and pizza to be cooked, a young girl something on the order of 7'ish (barely came up to the counter) came up to the counter and asked for 2 ranch dressings and some croutons. The lady behind the counter charged this little girl over $1.50 for this. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing - over $1.50 for dressing and some stale bread cubes. And to make matters worse, I had just ordered a family size salad and told Dion's to hold the dressing (what 4-6 dressings with a family size) and, the little girl's family of 6 was seated eating their salads, pizza and drinks - I'm guessing in excess of $30 for this family to eat there. Is Dion's that hard up for cash that they must charge for condiments? This really makes me question the business model Dion's uses. As busy as Dion's was that evening you would think they could afford to squeeze out a couple of croutons and some ranch dressing to a customer - a little girl no less.... I would really like to see Dion's take a positive step and quit charging for condiments (to customers) and train the staff to show a little compassion to the youngest customers. read more

I do not like chains, but this local chain is a family favorite! We can easily feed our family of 7 for less than $35. The ranch salad dressing, very tasty!! It does have MSG. The pizza is very tasty especially the Dion's Special which is their version of supreme...super yummy! When my husband and I first moved into our apartment here in Abq, we were too tired to cook. We drove around and fell upon Dion's. Not only was it fast, AND Delicious, it was extremely affordable. Called in an order to the Montgomery location last night, went through the drive thru pickup and were told our sandwiches had to be remade so we were given our salad and asked to pull around and someone would bring them right out to us. After waiting for 20 minutes we pulled back around and asked if they were ready? the girl at the window didn't seem to remember us so we reminded her and she asked the name on the order again, went and came back with them. Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know about how the food is and also the price. Wow. good as gold.

I usually love Dions, but just moved to the area and this location is not good. I called in to order a medium Hawaiian and arrived after 30 minutes to pick it up. The drive through was packed and took about 20 minutes to get through. When I got home, I looked at the pizza and they had put pepperoni and pineapple on it rather than ham. It was extremely greesy and the cheese tasted like it had been in the refrigerator too long. Also, the pizza had not been cut properly. Two stars because the time I went before this, I was given a refund without asking after waiting 30+ minutes to receive my call in order. Still not a good experience, but the sub I got that time was good and appreciated them recognizing that and granting the refund. read more

This Dion's is the world's most average pizza place. I remember lots of banal stuff happening here. Probably the most interesting thing I have to say about it is that I f*cked up my hand one time trying to ollie a gap in a parking lot next door. They make a decent turkey sandwich that comes with chips and greek dressing and tends to lacerate your palate, but the pizza is unnecessarily chewy, the sauce tastes canned, and they skimp on toppings. Having grown several years and been to places in the world with good pizza, sentimentality is really the only reason this place doesn't get 2 stars. read more

Gone to this location about five times. Their drive thru/ pick up procedure is ridiculously slow and last time my order was wrong. So this recent visit I went inside. I ordered lemonade but then saw that the lemonade machine was being repaired and the lemonade was in a temporary bucket. The cashier told the repair person (who was wearing a Dions shirt) that I had ordered lemonade. Dion's is one of my favorite places to eat. I ordered a salad online for lunch because I have limited time to eat. When I got back from picking up my Salad and opened it up to eat it, I noticed that the lettuce that was used was already wilting and the meat was dry like it was old. The Morris location is not a location that I eat at normally.
