Ordered a takeout over the weekend which included their world class garlic rolls, in addition, I ordered calamari and a large pizza. The quality and preparation of their meals are superb and has been so for many years. Actually, I started eating there back in the day while working in Hialeah (Consolidated Bank). This place was bad. Overpriced generic italian food and flavorless pizza. The garlic rolls looked and tasted as if they had been previously frozen. The place was no where near busy and our order was still brought to us wrong. If your dying for pizza and you can't get to ken and mikes in Miami Lakes just order from Dominoes the pizza is superior. read more

If you love spaghetti carbonara and fresh and delicious garlic bread, this is the place! We go out for dinner most nights of the week and live up in Broward so it's a far drive but would not order pasta from any other restaurant, the sauce is creamy and perfectly flavored. totally worth it! We have tried many other Italian Restaurants but this is the only one that stands out. On the other hand, the only reason I am not giving this restaurant 5 stars is because every time we order pizza it seems to be getting a little worse. The flavor isn't too great and last time it was burnt and before that undercooked, so I am a little disappointed on that side.... read more

I've been dining here since I was a kid. You gotta love their garlic rolls, best in all of South Florida. The pizza is good too but I really love ordering take out for groups which is when you get the best pricing. A tray of baked ziti along with salad and enough garlic rolls to feed a small village (unless your guests fight for them like my family does) is extremely inexpensive (wont quote prices since I dont recall exactly) and will get you rave reviews. People are always excited when they walk through my front door to the site of the huge aluminum pans and the smell of garlis in the air. read more

Everyone deserves to know this. I was at the establishment yesterday picking up an order that I made over the phone. They clearly have a printed sign on the door that states you must enter with "a mask on", even has a traffic Stop sign printed on it. Well, upon entering the establishment I straight up see all the male employees without a mask on, even all the way back in the kitchen area. While ironically all the female workers had one on. Very strange practice. I just turned a blind eye and went with it. While sitting down waiting for my food an old lady walks in WITHOUT a mask on and goes directly to the counter to pay/pick up her food. Not a single person told her anything. I was left dumbfounded. I tried to get one of the waitress attention to inform her and was completely ignored. Listen, their food is still great quality but they should practice what you preach. This place is a little hidden gem in the middle of Hialeah. It's been there for as long as I can remember. If you haven't tried the pizza here.... you are missing out. The crust on the pizza and the sauce is perfect. It has a classic italian motif. The staff is friendly and the service is always great. It's a great family spot but also good for a date. They offer all your classic italian dishes but the pizza is my favorite. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and the portions are large. read more

One of my favorite hole in the wall Italian places. I love the food, the setting, looking at sea of family pictures on the wall, the Italian music, and more importantly my favorite part is the service we receive from this one particular waitress. I am sure the rest of the staff is also good, but this lady always makes us feel as if she is truly happy to serve us. I don't know her name, but you will know who she is when she calls you "baby". She calls everyone baby and I love it. She connects with her customers. The pizza is hands down the best in this part of town. Its authentic, freshly made, cheesy, and delicious. My second choice is either the tortellini or the gnocchi baked. The garlic rolls are equally delicious. Great for sopping up some of the left over sauce. Mmm!! The house salad is a reasonable portion and I always enjoy it with some creamy italian. read more

Can't believe this was my first time here. Pizza was great. Good crust and sauce. Only complaint their was the mushrooms were canned. The peppers however were fresh. Ordered a lentil soup and it was probably the best lentil I've ever had. Side salad came with more goodies on it than I expected. Cute inside too. Definitely will make a trip back. read more

Great tasting Pizza (pepperoni and mushrooms) and Garlic rolls. Nice friendly and family atmosphere; Will be back again....As promised I went back, this time I brought the family. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer which were delicious, even our 5 yr old who is a picky eater had them. Im a native New Yorker and when I moved to Miami steady since 2000 i made it a point to try and find the best pizza in Miami....I've been eating here for a year and a half now and this is hands down the best in Miami that I personally have ever tasted. The prices are alittle high but it is well worth it for the taste and their stromboli's are great as well great crust, excellent ingredients and the staff is really friendly. They are Italians from Brooklyn. Spoke to the owner many times. Really down to earth. He told me back when he opened up years back he used to have NY water shipped from up north to Hialeah, FL just to get the most authentic taste. But he stopped doing that cause it was too much cost wise to do but the taste is still there. HIGHY recommend, a must try. This Italian restaurant is the best Italian I've had in miami. Closest thing to homemade pasta you'll ever have. Garlic knots are so juicy paired with a ziti allá vodka. If your looking for good homemade Italian food this is the place to visit. Great service as well. read more

I give this a 3 stars because it upset me that on the weekends they don't do small pizzas because it is too much of a hassle. You shape the dough, can't you shape it small. This is what i consider two things. One, a diamond in a rough, and two, one of those restaurants and/or places that you don't judge by its cover. Di Piazza is just one of those restaurants that you go there you view the entrance and surrounding area and think "this is gonna suck" but it doesn't suck TRUST ME when i say this. Everything about this place is awesome. The friendly and funny waiters and waitresses along with the Italian decor and food. If i can recommend a dish to anyone who wants to try this place out, i definitely go for the chicken francese. You will faint once you try this lol. This restaurant is my go to Italian joint seriously, it does not matter where in dade or Broward I'm located I will always go here. I have been a customer since I could remember. It does not fail what day, time or years their flavor is always the same, perfect and delicious. A must have for me is the baked ziti, the white pizza is to DIE for and if you ask for the garlic oil on the side...OMG. Everything here is amazing. The best nights to go are when Ana and her husband are making the pizzas, Monday through Thursday after 4. Any time is great but when Ana and her husband are there the pizza is beyond magical. Their garlic rolls are so crispy and warm. The calamari and fried mozzarella are also amazing. Been here twice and will never return. The pizza is ok but the service is horrendous! When we were done with our meal the server refused to take the dirty dishes since she claimed it wasn't her job. Pizza good. But disappointed that they don't offer small pizzas on weekends for the bruschetta pizza. That I can only have it on the weekend. We stopped there and they some kid running around the store and into the kitchen area. The kid was screaming as he is running around the tables. The parents obviously didn't teach the kids table manners and restaurant employees didn't care or was a family member. Then some goes the back of the kitchen and brings out a pillow. The worst service I have ever had in a restaurant in my life. I came to eat a late lunch with my family and as I was sitting waiting for my pizza I hear from behind the counter the F word. I look at my husband like OMG did I just hear that. After a few mins I hear more curse words. I am with Gabby and Angelique so I don't want to be sitting in a restaurant hearing an employee take like that. So I got up and asked her to please stop cursing I am here with my two small kids. Has a costumer I feel I have the right. As I was walking away my Husband hears the girl tell the other employee "what the F is her f problem". At that point he gets up and tells them he does not want the pizza and just let us pay for our drinks and rolls. She tells us that it is on the house she does not want our money. That's she is the owners daughter. I asked to talk to the owner. He needs to know how rude his daughter is. She called him up. Telling him that we are being rude and telling her off Then lied to him telling him that we said that she was not raises right. We did not say she was not raised right but it was obvious. She was shaking like if she was scared. Telling us that she was raised with out a mother. And that gives you the right to be rude to a costumer  and curse. Then she tells me to come our side like she wants to kick my *. Lmao. I went out side and as I thought she did nothing shaking talking. That her dad was coming. Like if i am scared of some Italian man that will most likely be on our side. Then she calls the cops telling them more lies. My husband called the cops as well. Waiting for the cops she tells her employees "I wish she would of hit me" really like I would get into a fight over some stupid stuff. Big Mouth for nothing. She was all talk. Once the cops got there they had to ask her 4 times to stay inside to the point that they told her if they need to tell her again she will be in handcuffs. Even the cop called her an idiot.  LMAO. It is a shame the pizza is good but No Refills on fountain soda, half dollar size rolls rude employees and  bad service never going back there again. BTW her father the owner never came.
