Over Labor Day, I purchased a new LG dishwasher & GE cooktop during Costco's annual appliance sale . Immediately after the purchase, the company telephoned to schedule an installation date. Both installers were professional, did excellent work, cleaned & hauled away the old appliances. On Wednesday, Tony installed the LG dishwasher in an hour, and on Saturday, Darien did some modifications on the tile counter to install the GE cooktop in just over 2 hours. The installers deserve 5 stars but the company sucks and gets zero stars ..the customer service from the company was terrible..I doubt anyone will read this..but if you do. Our installers were great. They were quick, very knowledgeable and definitely experienced at what they were doing. My installation experience by the installers was terrific..However, I had a terrible experience with the company. We had our appointment scheduled for a Saturday. We had booked 2 weeks prior. On the Monday preceding the appointment, we received an email stating they were trying to reach us but were unsuccessful and to please call them. We tried 3 times a day for three days and always got a voice mail. On the Thursday before our delivery and after 3 days of calling, I called Costco.com and complained. 1 hour later I finally got a call back from Direct Connect Connections just to confirm our delivery and give us the prep instructions, then Friday happened.. At 5pm on the day before our delivery, we received a call from this company to reschedule our appointment stating they over booked. Suffice to say, were livid because they did this practically last minute!. We had planned everything, removed our reverse osmosis system, canceled a family event and rushed to install a GFCI. We demanded they deliver and after arguing and speaking with a supervisor, they arranged for a "local installer" to do the installation. When they arrived I quickly realized they were the company installers. As I mentioned before, the installers were great..I literally give the 100 stars..but the company staff was terrible. I get they accommodated us but not until we had to argue needlessly. I hope you have a better experience. read more

This company never showed up for the install. We had a confirmed window (a whopping 4 hour window by the way) where someone had to be home for a dishwasher installation that was purchased through Costco. Not only did nobody show up but their phones are shut off after 5pm...but actually even earlier than that because we tried contacting at 4:40 and the phones were already being forwarded to an "after hours voicemail" which didn't even work because the mailbox is full so it just hangs up on you. Very satisfied with service Antonio called ahead and let me know he was about 30 minutes away and upon his arrival he inspected the location for placement and he and his assistant went right to work installing my appliance. After installation he fully explained how to use it and most importantly how to open it, should I have to do so while it was on without burning myself with hot water or hot steam. I bought a microwave from Costco and DCC was the default installer. They would not give me a price over the phone for some additional work that was necessary as part of the installation. They refused to give me a minimum price for the work prior to coming to the house. First technician Gerardo Marin could not do the work. I had the additional incidental work done by someone else. DCC came back a second time. This time they sent Juan who was wonderful and did a great job installing the microwave. My take away, they are shady when they don't give you a price up front and put you in a position to take their number on the spot when they arrive. Also, it is a hit and miss on who they send. One technician like Gerardo could be terrible and another like Juan could be excellent. I would not use them again. read more

Have ordered 5 different appliances and EVERY time they change the delivery time from 8-12..then in middle of night they change to 1-5 and then at 9am I'll get a call saying they have someone out sick. I bought a dishwasher from Costco. Elizabeth and Alejandro brought the machine and installed it for me. They were very friendly while exercising the utmost professionalism at the same time. They brought floor mats and shoe covers to make sure my floors won't get damaged or dirtied. My water supply valve was also very old and corroded. Alejandro offered to replace them at a very reasonable price which saved me a visit from plumbers who will likely charge way more. It was late in the day so perhaps the answer is to be sure to have a morning appointment with these folks. Maybe it was low-blood sugar. Who knows. All I can say is that I waited all day for Direct Connect and when they showed up at 430PM I was pleasant, they were pleasant and seemed to know their way around a kitchen. j What I ended up with is a dishwasher so poorly installed that the center shelf rolls out all by itself constantly interfering with loading and unloading. It's also crooked and looks terrible. I bought a refrigerator as well. So far so good with that one. read more

We purchased a dishwasher from Costco, and had to use DCC for installation. Terrible experience. The first technician charged us $150 to install an outlet since the original dishwasher was hardwired. After he left and we tried running a load, we had issues with the the circuit breaker flipping. We had a different technician show up to resolve, installing a GFCI outlet, but issues still remained. We ended calling Costco to return the dishwasher. Upon removing it, we found why we were having issues. The wiring behind the device was done so poorly we had to hire an actual electrician for $300 to resolve the issues! We purchased a new dishwasher through Best Buy and we (my wife, son and myself installed on our own. Took awhile, but works correctly! Beware of Costco's contracted installers! read more

Robert was great. Very friendly and courteous. First thing he asked was if we wanted him to wear booties over his shoes. We don't wear shoes in our house. So, it was great that he offered without us even having to ask. He put down plastic and cloth where he needed to work and ensured our flooring wouldn't be damaged.
