Direct connect connections I will NEVER buy another product from Costco that requires Direct Connect Connections to do installation. I love Costco, but can't believe they expose their customers to this contractor. As so many have said, DCC is horrible about keeping their appointments and communicating when they will miss a schedule they agreed to. For me, like others, they cancelled the 1st scheduled delivery the day before and then showed up hours late for the next scheduled delivery (the following week). Unfortunately, that is to commonplace in today's world. I wish it was the worst part of the experience. My bigger issue with DCC is they are dishonest and don't stand behind their work. Their installer made a mistake while installing our dishwasher. Mistakes happen. Water leaked from the dishwasher supply line damaging the ceiling of the bathroom below and the hardwood flooring in front of the dishwasher. The inspector they sent (who also was a no show the 1st scheduled day) confirmed the supply line had only been hand tightened. Since tightened correctly everything has worked fine. However, DCC's office contacted me nearly a month later instructing me to file a claim against Bosch. I explained I didn't have a claim against Bosch since the dishwasher works fine and no parts were replaced or fixed on the dishwasher. The DCC inspector acknowledged their error and they should be responsible for the claim. Since that point in time DCC has not returned phone calls or emails. Costco has only responded that they would contact DCC. After several months I have had to pay for the repairs myself. I have searched customer reviews of DCC work on various sites. In addition to the repeated scheduling misses, I have found others mention or elude to dishonest business practices. I invite anyone who has had similar experiences to contact me. Perhaps as a collective group we can make DCC stand behind their work. read more

Ordered a dishwasher through Costco who used Direct Connect Connections to do the last mile delivery and install. Huge pain! Our first scheduled delivery & installation appointment was rescheduled last minute. DCC pushed it out by a week. But then DCC no-showed on the delivery & installation appointment *they scheduled*. They no-showed even after I called them the day before our appointment to confirm the delivery and installation window! After the delivery & installation window passed, I tried calling DCC who simply didn't pick up the phone. All I got was voicemail, so I left one. Tried calling Costco to have them help me get in touch with DCC. Costco tried calling DCC while I was on the line and they also just got sent to voicemail. Will update if/when we get our dishwasher installed ... Update: We did get our dishwasher. Installer came later than promised (again), and immediately told us he couldn't install. I told him to wait a minute while I called Costco and he basically ran out immediately. Left the dishwasher at least so the delivery arrived; just not installed. read more

We purchased a new microwave oven from Costco and had Adel as our installer from DCC. We have nothing but good things to say about Adel. He was an example of courteousness from start to finish, dealt with two flights of stairs both in delivering the new microwave and removing the old one, installing the new unit beautifully, and leaving behind a perfectly clean workspace with no damage of any sort. On top of that, we are a "no shoes" house and he respected that, removing his shoes for all tasks inside the home. He was also a pleasure to deal with, checking multiple times to ensure we were satisfied with his work, and asking whether there was anything more that we were concerned about or needed. 11/28/2023 . Annette and Andrew, called ahead of time to let us know what time they will be arriving. Upon arrival Annette assessed the area in question for our dishwasher to be installed. She and Andrew informed us that we need an air drop connection. Which we agreed to proceed with their professional recommendation. After they completed and did their check off list. They went over the inspection and installation. They also gave us so cleaning instructions and recommendations. They were both very pleasant and professional. I highly appreciate and recommend their service!!! 12/07/2023, our dishwasher wasn't working properly and proceeded to contact Andrew in the morning. After leaving our voice message. He was on another service and informed me that since it was late 4:30p. He can swing by and check out our unit for any anomaly. Wow I was very surprised that hey accommodated my concerns and were able to squeeze us on the same day!!! This is going way beyond and making their customers their first priority!!! Gustavo installed the unit beautifully on the wall with copper pipes , very clean install. Would definitely use for again for installation services. The best service. The installers were very professional and polite and they did a quality job very quickly.

Horrible install service. Install window was 1pm-5pm, installer arrived at 10am. Installer knocked on my door and by the time I walked down stairs the driver was already back in his car and was beginning to drive away. Had to run to his car to stop him. Once inside he immediately started complaining about the air gap he'd need to install, said it would take him hours. I told him it'd take me 2 mins. He responded: "I've been installing dishwashers for 32 years it's going to take me an hour minimum, it's $135 plus labor". I asked him to just drop off the washer and haul the old one away. He said he couldn't take the old washer if he didn't install the new one. I had him clarify that he could indeed drop off the new dishwasher, he just refused to take the old one unless he finished the install himself. I asked him to call his HQ and ask permission because at this point his attitude was ruining my day and it was clear he didn't want to be here and had somewhere else to be. He was on the phone for about 2 minutes, during which time I went ahead and installed the airgap (saved him a whole hour of work!). When he came inside I told him i installed it and he was visibly upset that I prevented him from scamming me. He confirmed he would not haul away the old washer. I asked him to leave and I called DCC to cancel the service. read more

After installation, they tested the dishwasher and showed us how to run our new Bosch dishwasher.
