The food here is absolutely delicious! I love how they have so many different options. The fries can most definitely be shared the serving portion is a lot. My rating is 10/10 on everything. The birria tacos were hands down my favorite though. The drink was very good I asked the host what he recommend and he told me that drink was his favorite unfortunately I forgot the name of the drink but it was very good. I absolutely loved the vibes here. The art work was very good you can tell the artist(s) really gave it there all. The staff was absolutely great from taking orders to making the food to serving the food it was all done within a timely manner. This location is very spacious it's great for large groups and for a party of 2. I will most definitely come back to try this place again. 10/10 read more

Recently Dirt Dog was featured in a Korean TV show and did a pop-up in Korea. I would always Postmates the food but this time I went to try at The Compound and the food was amazing! I finally got to try the LA Cheesesteak Dog. I would def recommend trying this one! Would definitely come back for more and the Garlic Fries is to die for. read more

I love that there's one in Commerce now! Super close to my work and they have such a nice set up. I got the DUI dog. Pastrami, Carne asada all on a bacon wrapped hot dog. It was absolutely delicious. Just one was enough since the portion is so much more than just a hot dog. They're super customizable too. You can even add hot cheetos to it if you'd like. The dirty esquite was also delicious. My friend said the fries were cool. I love that they have more than just hot dogs. I'd love to try their Carne asada or carnitas fries next time. The area is also surprisingly great. Super clean and I think they're getting their beer license too. Will 100% be coming back often read more

AMBIANCE: This Dirt Dog location is tucked away in an industrial warehouse area but it's really easy to find. What makes it easy to find? Their iconic mural of influential people that have helped make what Los Angeles is today. Inside you'll find a spacious area showcasing their "underground hip-hop" theme. They also have outdoor seating and are implementing new ways to gather around with your friends! FOOD: First up was their Carne Asada Tacos. These didn't disappoint whatsoever! Thick dices of carne asada with a little fat still on some pieces (something I personally enjoy), a nice warm tortilla, and both green and red salsa options. I usually go with a green salsa but their red salsa won me over. Next was their D.U.I. Fries which had super crispy, skin-on fries, topped with pastrami, carne asada, chipotle aioli, and bacon bits. These were hefty and so delicious. I could imagine how the other types of fries are. One thing I'll add to this is that the pastrami pieces weren't diced the same as the rest of the dish, so you do get long pieces of pastrami. Not the biggest deal but I like nice ratios per bite. I also ordered their Elote Dog which was put in between Texas Toast and topped with everything you would find on a classic esquite. Again, on this one I think the bacon bits is a minor overkill for me personally but overall, it was a tasty version of a street dog. I want to touch on their desserts - their churro has a nice batter to it, where it's moist in the middle but stays crispy on the outside. The winner though was the Fried Oreo. Just get it, trust me! SERVICE: One of the better places to get amazing service. From the cashier, to Miguel who runs this Dirt Dog, just every person I had the pleasure of interacting with were bomb dot com haha. I didn't know this location was here. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It's close the the citadel outlets. This spot is a good place to get lunch with your coworkers or dinner with your family. Lots of room, indoor and outdoor seating. If you love rap and hip hop music you will enjoy your food with awesome music. You will be eating and sing classics. The service was great. They were friendly and helpful. This spot is SO LA! The dogs coming loaded with different stuff reminds me of getting a hot dog right after the clubs or games in DTLA! The asada fries were fire and the fried oreos are tasty! Okay, this place is good ! The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is kinda cool. I feel like it would be a cool vibe to come here at night. They have music playing and really comfy round lounge seating with huge booth seats. In terms of the food, it's similar to Dog Haus, except they give you a bit more. The hot dogs from Dog Haus feel a bit small. You can't go wrong with their OG chili dog. I think that one was my favorite just because all the cheese. The patty melt is really good too. It did have a slight hint of spiciness, but definitely not overly spicy. I think the lesson is that anything with cheese is good. Their esquite, which is basically like elote in a cup, is really good and they put enough lime juice. I wasn't sure about getting the oreos since I feel like I generally don't gravitate towards that kind of fried dessert. I did get a churro though and it was bomb. Even without the horchata whipped cream I think it would be good tbh. I'm definitely coming back here, but at night. The only con would be that it's not located in a traditionally noticeable area so it's not something you would come across randomly with driving. Worth checking out though. Everything was on point here! Flavor, service, ambience . You usually don't expect anything much from a hot dog, but these were extremely juicy and definitely were packed full of flavor. I might revisit, unsure. This place failed short. The stars given were only for cleanliness and GREAT SERVICE. Now to the nitty gritty. I ordered various items. The esquite would be nice with real fresh corn, not from a can. The bacon was so hard I thought I bit into a random object in my food. Nope it was just super thick bacon that was probably over cooked and it gave it no texture. Very disappointing. The buns are way too big and thick for the wiener you're putting in there. Please check my pictures for reference. Both the plain bacon wrapped and the chilli dog you can see the small wiener ends before the bun. That a huge pet peeve and a no-no. Buy bigger wieners. The bread is soft but it was too much bun to meat ratio. I would have rather have a regular bun. A+ for the chorizo chilli your definitely on to something. A+ for the fries crispy I came on a Sunday 1.5 hrs till closing. My food came out barely warm. So I'm sure it would have tasted better hot. Beer would have been nice, but I think they're working on that. I had high hopes when I saw a video on Instagram. read more

This eatery is located in an industrial area of Commerce. There's plenty of parking spaces and it has a great ambiance inside and out. I would definitely bring my friends here for a bite and a drink. This place is a vibe in itself! I came in, and I was like I love this place! It had the music going. Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Nate Dogg, Bone Thugs on the Playlist! It felt like the good old days (high school). The service was awesome! The food was great! Oh my gosh... the fried oreos with the horchata whip cream are so GOOD! Gourmet hot dogs in a great environment. If their location wasn't so remote, I know this place would be poppin'. All the servers are so kind--willing to rush my order and help me in every which way since I usually only go when I'm on shift. This spot is a chill place, it has a nice picnic feel. They are friendly. The pastrami dog was good I got it with the lobster roll it got to bacon-ey for me but my bad they did offer to take out the bacon so they are accommodating. I Loved the elote fries they had a good crunch to there fries and the elote was good. I had a bite of the Elote dog that was good to. Definitely give it a try. Delicious juicy hotdogs. Got the house dog very delicious the bread is a lobster bread and it's worth getting it. Top with onions, green peppers, beacon bites, ketchup, mustard, mayo and house spread. I really little just a little to much onion for my taste. The service is good very nice and fast service. After planning my dad's 70th birthday party last year and doing literally everything myself at a different venue, I knew this time around I wanted a place where I could actually enjoy the celebration. This venue exceeded my expectations and took so much off my plate. The owner, Gilbert, was amazing from beginning to end. He was kind, generous, flexible, and incredibly easy to work with. Whenever I had a question, he responded to my texts in a timely manner and always found a way to help. His communication and willingness to work with me made the entire planning process so much easier. The venue itself is beautiful. They have two newly renovated banquet rooms at their Bell Gardens location, along with their own parking lot. We used the smaller room, which holds around 80 guests, and it was the perfect size for our celebration. The package included so much--the food, linens, tables, chairs, plating, and even beautiful centerpieces that I was able to borrow. They also have gorgeous, Instagram-worthy backdrops, including greenery and floral walls, beautiful lighting, and a really nice bar area. And one of my favorite surprises was that the birthday cake and delivery were included! I didn't have to worry about ordering, picking up, or transporting a cake, which was one less thing for me to think about. The venue also included a bartender, while allowing us to provide our own alcohol and drinks. This was a huge plus because many of the other venues I contacted had very strict policies requiring you to purchase their alcohol, use their vendors, or prohibiting outside food and treats altogether. I really appreciated the freedom and flexibility this venue offered. There are also speakers throughout the venue if you want to play music directly from your phone. We didn't end up using them because we had our own music setup, but it's a great option to have. They also have TV screens, which gave us another way to personalize the celebration. We displayed a childhood photo of my mom on one of the screens, and at the bar we displayed a custom drink menu we created for the party. Security was another feature I really appreciated. With another banquet room right next door, security helped direct guests to the correct party and kept an eye on the property. It gave everyone peace of mind, and we didn't have to worry about constantly checking our cars or belongings outside. Our guests felt safe and comfortable throughout the evening. The decorating options were also fantastic. They allowed me to come in early the morning of the event, and because there wasn't another party scheduled the day before, they even let me decorate the day before! I had called so many other venues while researching, and none of them offered that option. Being able to get everything set up ahead of time made a huge difference for me. During the party, the staff continued to be wonderful. They were attentive, helpful, and even cleaned up throughout the event, allowing us to focus on celebrating instead of worrying about the cleanup. Another pleasant surprise was the price. Even with everything that was included, we paid a little less than we did for my dad's party last year at a different venue--and at that party, I had to handle practically everything myself. Most importantly, my family and friends loved it. After the party, several people reached out to me saying, "That place was so nice! How did you find it?" Everyone commented on the delicious food, how friendly the staff was, and how beautiful the venue looked. Hearing that from our guests meant so much to me. I am so grateful we chose this venue for such an important milestone. Gilbert and his team helped make my mom's 70th birthday truly special, and I would absolutely love to have another family celebration here in the future. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with great food, wonderful service, flexibility, and so many extras included, I highly recommend this place. You can actually enjoy your event instead of spending the entire time worrying about the details.

To be fair, the venue honored every part of our agreement, and I appreciate that. However, hospitality is about more than fulfilling a contract. On such an important day, I hoped for a little flexibility, warmth, and kindness. The side of spaghetti is very good. The sauce is slightly spicy which I liked. But someone at my table didn't care for it being spicy. I had the Italian surf and turf which includes 8-oz Filet mignon and 6-Oz lobster tail and lobster ravioli. The Filet mignon was okay (average). The lobster tail was over cooked. The best thing on my plate was the lobster ravioli. Needless to say, I was disappointed. For the prices they charge, I expected to have a delicious well prepared meal. Parking for this place is terrible. The parking lot is very small. Street parking is very limited. I would not be coming back. First of all, food was just average but prices are high. Secondly, It was so noisy that it made my dining experience not enjoyable. Last but not least, parking is a problem.

We recently visited Dirt Dog in Commerce, CA and it was an experience we won't soon forget. The story of how the founder, Timothy Cam, came up with the concept is both heartwarming and inspiring. But let's get down to business - the food. Never having had Mexican Street Corn, we had to try the Dirty Corn. Lime mayo, chili powder, Cotija cheese, cilantro and bacon bits all on top of a sweet corn on the cob - need we say more? It was the perfect start to our meal and the Dirty Fries were the perfect accompaniment. The D.U.I. Dog came with pastrami, carne asada, cheddar, chipotle aioli, cilantro, and bacon bits. We highly recommend getting it on the traditional bun as the chipotle aioli perfectly complements the sweetness of the bun. We also tried the House Dog with an Impossible meat dog on a grilled lobster bun (no lobster harmed in the making). The kick from the spice in the dog was balanced perfectly with the toppings. To finish off our meal, we indulged in the churro with homemade horchata whipped cream. It was the perfect sweet treat to complete our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also amazing. The industrial building with a 90s hip hop theme brought us back to the good old days of roller skating and cruising down Broadway. And let's not forget about the Fanta Orange soda - it was just straight-up nostalgic. Overall, we highly recommend Dirt Dog to anyone in the area or passing through. The birria tacos were among the best I've ever had, boasting crispy, seared tortillas and tender, flavorful meat throughout. The patty melt-style veggie dog was equally delightful, adorned with delicious toppings like fries, cheese sauce, and bacon bits. However, the veggie dog itself leaned more towards an Italian-seasoned flavor rather than a plain one. Opting for the lobster roll for the bread added tremendous flavor, although it did result in a slightly greasy experience. As for the fried Oreos, they were simply perfection. After running the errands he says are you down for Dirt Dog and I unwillingly said sure. We got here to the usual spot as it's always a chill place and got a order of Carnitas tacos from Priscilla and dam Dirt Dog is a hot dog place but they also know how to cook a mean beef. That carnitas meat is moist and juicy and tender with some salsa and some lime on it. If you feeling the tacos do not skip out on the tacos. Do not get me even started on the birria. I got lucky and grabbed a parking spot right up front as someone was leaving. Funny enough, during just one visit I ran into two people I knew. One friend told me she's been bringing her kids here since they were little, and another said he's been coming here forever. The place is small and cozy -- only a couple of four-top tables, a few two-seaters, and an old-school counter bar setup. I happened to get one of the larger tables at the right time. The breakfast portions were hearty and really good, and my little one loved the pancakes. I noticed a lot of regulars ordering lunch too, so I'd definitely come back to try that next. The menu is your traditional American diner style bacon cheeseburgers, pastrami, tuna melts, breakfast plates, and all the classics. The gentlemen taking care of me and my little one was really nice. Didn't realize until after we ordered that the lady didn't even ask us if we wanted hash browns or homes fries. Either way, we didn't have an option so home fries were given to us. In the end, the home fries were good but I also love me some hash browns. Also, my husband prefers over easy eggs and unfortunately the yolk was too runny. The washroom situation absolutely sucks. The washroom was outside and an employee let me in. Under ordinary circumstances I would automatically give the lowest possible score when access to the washroom is restricted in any way, shape or form. However...the attitude of the person at the counter was so good I am going to award one point so instead of a one this establishment gets a two and avoids a totally failing grade. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school this establishment would get a D.
