I tried 6 separate items my first trip there and by this quality I can tell I'll be back for more. The Pastrami Dog - loaded with salty, tender, & delicious pastrami & pickles; but still doesn't take away from the robust flavor of the hot dog. Really tastes like they put effort into this topping rather than being just a basic add-on. The Chili Dog - My personal favorite so far. Nothing too crazy so you can receive almost maximum hot dog flavor. Tha bacon really popped with this one. The Patty Melt - Definitely a creative addition. Tha fries were soggy but thats to be expected with the heavy dosage of cheese sauce that was on top. Definitely getting alot of salty flavors here. This one takes 3rd place but by no means is this a bad hot dog. The Dirty Fries were great. Crunchy & seasoned to perfection. Couldn't pinpoint which seasonings, but something special waa definitely going on here. The Horchata Ice Cream. Amazing. I will say the dogs and fries I tried were packed with flavor. Hint of spice and very generous with toppings. We shared a pastrami dog, dirty chili dog & dirty chili fries. Would most likely reorder both chili dishes as I'm just a fanatic of chili sauce with no beans but like I said-- packed with flavor & just the right amount of spice. The portions of the fries and the actual dogs are pretty small. They are filling so no need to order more than one dog as the toppings themselves add almost another meal on top of your dog. My beef with this place is the prices. Nearly $30 for 2 dogs & 1 order of fries. I make $13 whole dollars an hour and this place is unfortunately a luxury I can't frequently afford. Never thought hot dogs would be a luxury. Sure, they're tasty but junk food isn't usually something I consider expensive. Anyway, the food is better than I thought it would be. It has that "stupid Instagram food" look so I judged by the cover and assumed everything would be bland & flavorless. Not the case. Quite tasty. If bars were still open, and the prices here were a little more affordable, this would be my go-to spot. Would definitely recommend the spot--however I will continue to warn people of the prices. I'm sure they're not totally unfair prices but in my eyes a hotdog should never cost you more than $5. Just me. Also, brother tried the Jamaica that is freshly brewed. Had the patty melt hot dog, I got the chipotle aioli on the side, I'm glad I did cause it's really spicy, and I'm not a huge fan of chipotle sauce, so the hotdog without the sauce was perfect for me it was really delicious. Also got the elote fries which is almost like esquite but in fry form wo the corn, again I had them put the chipotle aioli on the side and it was delicious just like that. Ordered a Red dog and Flaming dog. All their dogs are bacon wrapped with some type of sautéed vegetables and they'll add different toppings like bacon bits, Cheetos, or even another protein. These dogs are full of flavor and very hearty! You will definitely not be eating dinner after one of these guys. The buns are either Hawaiian rolls or a regular bun that are nice and toasted. I really like the French fries here as well. They were crispy and salty to my liking and I think I'll try a different option of flavor next time. Ambiance is nothing special. Seats are are booth seats so they're comfortable. They have outdoor booth seats too but it was too hot to eat outside. Food. The elote dog was alright. I didn't think this option really played well as a hot dog. I did it to sample the elote and the hot dog itself. The lobster roll option was good. You get the traditional bread or lobster roll bread. The lobster roll bread was very soft and crispy. I'd assume the elote is good and getting the other dogs would be a better option. The asada taco was not a let down like most restaurants. It's not salty. They skimp on the onions and cilantro. The green salsa is nice. Red salsa I'd say is like a 4/10 spice. I love the mutt dog on lobster bun, and I always pair it with an esquite, an agua fresca, and the horchata ice cream. This time, I really went all out and ordered a side of garlic fries too. Everything was delicious, as usual. I chose to dine in, so I could enjoy my food hot and my ice cream cold. I appreciated them holding my ice cream in the freezer for me until I was ready for it. You have to ask them upfront though or it'll come out early. Service was amazing. I always love anything with French fries on top so I knew the patty melt dog was the right choice for me. My husband got the dirty chili dog. We both really enjoyed our dogs. Things got messy due to how stuffed with toppings it is but it is totally worth it. The dogs are wrapped in bacon which is something that I never knew I needed. Highly recommend upgrading to the lobster roll bun. I was thrilled to see that they are serve Coke as that always make me love a place even more. We chose the salt & pepper fries which are really tasty. The fries have just the right crispiness to them. The ketchup has a bit of a kick to it but is overall enjoyable. One thing that really enhances the experience is all of the cool murals that they have. You'll be taking photos of more than just your food. Based on recommendations from the employees there, my friend and I split the mutt dog and the elote dog as well as a side of dirty fries. The mutt dog has a nice kick to it, and felt like more familiar as far as loaded hotdogs go. HOwever, I think that I preferred the elote dog! I loved the combination of the cheese, the spice, and basically all the flavors! I also really liked that htey use lobster roll buns for the hot dogs! The lobster roll did get soggy in the middle, but I didn't mind. - Pastrami Dog ($9.25): good ol pastrami with hot dog brings the flavor to the next level. - House Dog ($7.25): The classic dirt dog you can't go wrong with - DUI fries ($9.25): if you like pastrami, you're going to like this! - Garlic Fries ($4.95): simply delicious.
