Went here to get a tire repaired, and I don't want to say they "talked" me into buying two new tires...but they kinda did. In their defense though, I am pretty sure I did need new ones. I was a little surprised at the price of their house tires, even with the Buy 1 Get 1 dicount. But I also didn't do my homework before hand to see if I could indeed get a better price somewhere before. While my car was up getting the tires, he also noticed my brakes were bad. How convienient huh! Again, I'm sure I needed new brakes, I just always feel like car places see a woman instead of just a customer and see what they can get!!! All in all though, they worked very fast, especially for a Saturday after noon. So minutes before I had to leave for a shift, I find my car with not one but 2 FLAT TIRES. Needless to say, I was late getting to work by 15 minutes. My company, graciously, Ubered me to my destination when I informed them, but being tight on money, I voted to walk back home (barely 2 miles, no biggie!) During the walk, of course, I tried finding different places to get either a fix or new tires completely. Using Yelp, I sent out a mass price comparison for tires to the 5 random companies the app chose. This place had the best price and could do it on a day; and after looking at records, it was the same company (different location) I had first gotten tires when all 4 had to be replaced. Repeat business might have been a factor on price! After getting home, convincing my husband to tag along and getting a little help from AAA (who didn't have the decency to let me know that my spare tire was busted as well before attaching it)we barely made it back to the place. It took alot less time to fix then previously stated and I am glad for it. Owner was super nice and informative about availability of a new spare tire. Will definitely return! read more

It is Sunday pouring rain and we got a flat. We have a car that does not carry a spare. We spent 35 minutes calling everywhere to get someone to help us to at least limp the tire home. We went to couple locations running on a "run flat" tire just trying to get it fixed. No one wanted to help. We called Discount Tire thinking we would be snuck out of town until Monday morning. That would be mean that my husband and I would have to miss work. NOT GOOD. They were warm and friendly over the phone. They said just come in we will help. And they did. I went here to get a tire replaced and an alignment done on a car that I use for work. They gave me a decent price and told me my car would be ready soon. About an hour later, I get a call from them telling me they can't align my car because the control arms are bad, and in order to finish the job they told me they would do, they needed me to pay $850 right now so they could align my tires, or else they couldn't promise that my brand new tire I paid for would last. Um, no thank you? So I had to go without an alignment on my car for a while. I took it somewhere else that I trusted later, and they aligned my tires for MUCH LESS and threw in a free rotation. When I asked them about the control arms, they said absolutely nothing was wrong with them, and there should never be with a car that new. So these people were trying to swindle me out of $850 for a problem that didn't exist, and probably messed up the tire they gave me really bad because it wasn't properly aligned. Never going here again, I don't like to be lied to, especially when it comes to $850. read more

Had a great experience here yesterday! My car desperately needed new tires after one got a gash in it and started leaking air. I went to Sears (wrote a review about them as well) because my father had purchased tires for me a couple years ago and they had a warranty on them, but the people at Sears couldn't figure out how to apply my warranty to the price and, in turn, the tires were extremely overpriced there. I'm on a bit of a budget and was really looking for better service and a better deal. The guys here did not talk down to me and made me feel relieved I had gone to them. They were running a buy 2, get 2 free on tires and I just don't think I could have gone to a better place. I originally had Goodyear tires on my car, but the discount/ generic brand tires on the car now look better than my Goodyears ever did, even when they were new. Will never take our car here or any Discount Tire! Had all 4 struts replaced last year and got 4 new tires from Discount. We have put less than 15,000 miles on the car since than and all 4 tires are cupping and 2 struts are bad. Now they want me to pay for new tires and struts when everything should be covered under warranty. It is obvious they installed faulty struts when 4 tires are showing cupping after 15,000 miles. Damage was spotted by dealership and they documented all tire damage and faulty struts. Spend a little more and get quality work done elsewhere. read more

We were stuck in Fresno with a headlight out and the parts were being a little more difficult than we expected to do on our own. We stopped about 10 minutes before closing and asked for help. Shawn dropped what he was doing and assisted us right away. It took a second but he replaced the light bulb promptly and we were on our way. What made this special is that two other auto shops on the same street didn't even take a second look and refused to help only saying it would take an hour or two or possibly overnight. Shawn saved us a huge hassle of having to stay the night to replace something as a tiny as a headlight. A HUGE THANKS to Shawn for being so kind and having great customer service. read more

This used to be my go to tire shop. However, I will NEVER give this place my business again! I went in for a tire repair. I'm a single mom of 2 children and had them with me in a side by side double stroller. When I went to open the door and enter the business there was a woman standing behind the counter, leaning against it, arms crossed, watching me struggle like hell to get through the door. I managed to get in and went up to her telling her my problem. She went to check the mileage on my car and when she returned she informed me that it would be $25 per tire if they needed a repair. This service used to be free...apparently not anymore! I told her that I'd have to come back another day and she rudely responded with "ok". I then turned to leave. Again, she leaned on the counter and did nothing to help. The other gentleman working there came up behind me and offered to get the door for me. He's the ONLY reason I chose to give this place 2 stars! I ended up going to a place by Fashion Fair mall and was helped there by two of the most helpful people...and my repair was done free of charge! read more

Do not take your car here for any type of mechanical service. They replaced my starter, rotors, and struts and $2000 later my car was not the same. They had my car for a week and could not figure out why the AC was not working properly (it did before I brought it in for repairs), and why the car was now pulsating. I looked on the internet and found it was the intake throttle valve. I cleaned it and now the car runs fine. Also they charged me for an alignment that either was never done or incorrectly done. Verified by another repair shop.. I have filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Also left grease prints on the inside door fabric and inside door frame. read more
