Hands down the best experience. I needed to get my safety inspection and was worried with other places that had issues with failing cars due to window tints that had passed in the past. I decided to go with Firestone because the reviews were great. I'm happy I came here. They were able to answer my questions about other issues related to my car. Excellent tire place. I was dating a young lady and she got a flat on rt.85 at night near the mall. We stayed at a microlodge for the night and in the morning had the car towed to this tire place they had a good used tire for cheap and she was back running in no time for cheap. I had a wonderful experience with the gentlemen at Discount Tire. The service was not only friendly, as I had a discussion with Danny about "Old School" family shows and cartoons, but they were ultra fast! They finished in a little less than half the time they'd stated (15 minutes to replace 2 tires). I also witnessed Nick and one other gentleman wiping down their stations with Clorox wipes. They get 2 thumbs up from me!! They'd get a third if I had another thumb so instead I'll stick up my big toe! Had a great experience with Discount Tire! I made an appointment online and ended up calling to confirm and ask a few questions. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was actually a little late to my appointment but called ahead to let them know - they were ready and waiting for me upon arrival. I wasn't sure what was going on with my tire - I figured it could be patched or I would need a new one. Fortunately, they found a small screw and patched it up for free, and added air to all my other tires. Very informative and friendly throughout the process. I called Discount Tire after booking an online appointment for a Goodyear tire, but the tire was not in stock. However, they had another tire for sale in the same price range. I went to this Discount Tire location, and I was greeted after maybe five mins of waiting. The mechanic went right out to look at my tires and took my keys and pulled me around to start my tire change. I was there for maybe 45 mins. I give them four stars because they don't tire to sell you on things your car don't need like Goodyear right across the street. They also don't make you wait for hours just for a simple tire change. I like this location because they are polite, affordable, and did not attempt to Hassle me for services that you don't need. read more

I bought a set of tires here in June of 2014. It took them three tries to get them balanced. Even then it wasn't perfect. Since then I had been taking my to the Goodyear place down the road and having them balanced when I changed my oil. They had no problem balancing them. Unfortunately I had my oil changed elsewhere today so I came back to discount tire to have them rotated. They took it upon themselves to balance them. It's now shakes like you would not believe. The representative is here telling me that the machine says one tire is balanced. And that is all they can do. At this point we are arguing about why my car drives worse than it did before I came in and what can be done. read more

I've been to this location several times. Today I had a tire repaired. It had a nail in it. This location patches repairable tires for free. I greatly appreciate this. The Honda dealer wanted over $40.00 to repair the same tire. I will definitely be giving them my tire business. read more

It's perfect location right outside of Concord Mills. I was shopping for tires and I didn't wanted to spend too much since I was planning to sell it but I needed a good set of tires for my Honda Prelude. I did my homework online and I stop by at the DTC to see what kind of price they are offering and come to find out, it was 40% more than what I found online. So I asked the guy to see if he can match the price for same tires online? I said you can check the print out I brought and talk to your manager. He said I am talk to the manager and not only he matched the price but he gave me heck of a deal on brand spanking new set of tires. I purchased 4 new tires from this company, but at a different location and everything went well!! So knowing that there are multiple, accessible locations all over Charlotte, I felt content that I could follow up at any location and get the same service. Buuuut recently I visited this location bc I was concerned that my tires were flattening as I was driving home from a stressful day at work. With understanding that they closed at 6 and it being about 6:05 and a car was still being serviced, that they could could take a look at my tires and jyst check the pressure and ensure I at least didnt have any leaks... NOPE! i was told that all the air was leaked out of the hoses and I'd have to come back the next day. Now, my first concern was "dang, i hope i can even make it home to even possibly come back the next day.." So with fingers crossed and prayers in constant rotation, I was able to make it home, but I do believe they could've provided me better reassurance that during rush hour on the highway and being a young female, that they would show a biiiit more concern and care... read more

I bought 3 sets of tires from this Discount tire. The mileage warranty is a joke. They don't stand behind their word. You go in for a tire fix and they refuse to do it. We will replace two front tire for a discount HA! They were tires with tons of tread left on them. Take your business elsewhere! I will not give them a penny more.
