I have always had excellent service when I come here. Most of my experiences are either tire rotations or leak repairs. The staff is always friendly and asks me how my service was. I like that I can make an appointment online, and when I do, they always complete my service within the time frame they quote me. Although my car and tires are new, they still rotated them for free. I don't want to judge this whole location solely on one person but man at least know your stuff. The gentleman I tried to check in with refused to do a simple swap of wheels for me on my 2018 Ford Raptor. They were already mounted and balanced but they looked like beadlock wheels and he said he couldn't do it. I told him it was a factory Ford Raptor wheel and he wouldn't even check to see what I was saying. Ford Raptor is a very popular truck and so are Jeeps which most have look alike beadlock wheels. Waited for an hour after my appointment time to ask them when my vehicle will be done since it is parked in a different spot and they stated they would not do my rotation because my tire tread is "too low". I was in a pickle and discount came through for me. At the last minute on a Friday morning I decide to run down to Tucson to help my girlfriend move. All of my tires are new except one, which I had already been warned to replace but I knew I could still squeeze a couple thousand miles out of that rubber. Conundrum ensued: do I risk the drive there and back in the hottest part of the summer while driving on the death trap, also known as The Ten. OR do I lose precious moving time by getting this tire replaced. Visions of burning my kneecaps while changing a tire and having semi's whiz by forced me into this Discount. I arrived by 8:00 and I was out by 8:30. I was treated with respect and courtesy by the employees who helped me. The women's bathroom was clean. I've been coming to Discount Tire for decades now. They have a wide variety of tires available, and can order anything they don't have. They also offer a sort of insurance (I don't want to call it a warranty because you have to pay for it). The coverage is pretty good, and they will replace any damaged tire. Only normal wear is exempted. Their people also seem to be very knowledgeable about their products. The only bummer is that they don't offer nitrogen. A lot of cars now are coming with nitrogen in the tires. If you come to Discount Tire you'll lose it because they use ordinary air. But otherwise this is a good place for all-things tires. read more

Been using discount tire since I have my first car in California. I work in customer service industry, I can totally 100 % this guys believes and do customer service above and beyond . Took my car here to get tire replace , transaction was a breeze waited fir the car to be done and they finish within 1hour . After driving in twenty minutes on way home heard the wheel pop and the I can feel the ground like air was gone from tire , came back and show the flat tire , they apologize and corrected the mistake by replacing the tire. Came on a Friday for a tire check with my wives car. They had a 2 hour wait so they recommended i make an appointment. I made an appointment for the following Monday. I was told 1 hour to patch up a tire. I return 90 minutes later and receive a text message that my car was ready. Then i ask if they patched up the tire. I then am told that my car was never worked on and they don't know why. They then promise to fix it now. 15 minutes later they say they can't patch up my tire. What an utter lack of customer service and irresponsibility. Nobody wanted to explain the situation. They just kept blaming other people. I'll never come back. read more

I took my truck in to have 18" stock wheels removed and put another pair of stock 20" wheels put on. I paid for life time balance and rotate and to switch TPMS sensors. Cost a little over $200 for service but I paid. Was told had 2 bad sensors and that would be another $120. Said i would get later and was told it would cost $10 per tire to install. I buy 4 new ones and take to them and now they want $80. Bottom line BRANDON LIED. Have dealt with discount 40 yrs for all tire needs. This stops. I will go to big O or Walmart before going to discount. Service is no longer a thing with them. Nor is loyalty. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMIN'S which sucks because was once a great company! read more

The store on Market St in Gilbert, scheduled an appointment for a tire rotation, free since i bought the tires there. Had a 1:30 appointment, got there 10-15 minutes early. At 1:40 i went back in and asked how far backlogged are they. At that point i was told the car should be finished around 2:30 to 2:45..are you kidding me. I have been a fan of Discount Tire for more than a decade. I used to go the Tempe one on Southern. I recently moved to Gilbert, so I figured I'd try this one. I had gotten a flat & had changed it out with the spare. I made an appointment on the APP for 4:30 on a Monday. I was running really early (due to other appts going well), so I got there at 3:20pm and checked in. The manager Bill was super cool checking me in, he found a nail in another tire that was still holding air, and he said they were not busy. He told me since I was an hour early I'd more than likely be out of there by 4:45pm. I thanked him and started working on some stuff I brought on my laptop. At 4pm I glanced outside and didn't think my car had been moved. I watched closely. At 4:25 it was still there. At 4:40 I went up to say something. Bill looked at me like I had 7 heads. I reminded him I had an appointment & he had personally told me I'd be done by 4:45 pm. I told him they just took it back now after it sitting outside for 75 minutes. He glanced at some screen, pointed randomly at the screen, and said "well, it's back there now. Shouldn't be long." I didn't even know what to say. I told him what he said earlier. He looked at my like I was crazy and say "it should be done soon." I went back to my work because I didn't want to deal with him again and knew he was the store manager. At 5:20pm a tech came in and told me I was all set. Handed me my key. I've gone to Discount for YEARS. My wife tells me she loves CostCo for tires. I explained my loyalty. It just changed. The tires on my Rav will need to be replaced this winter. I am done with Discount Tire. read more

They told me it would only take an hour. *****update***** Clay, the manager, reached out to me to apologize for my experience and was super friendly and helpful. I had a nail go in my tire and my only available emergency option was to use a plug to stop the leak. I went to have it fixed and they said they couldn't fix it.... So any size nail, screw, or bolt can puncture the tire, and they'll fix it all day, but NEVER use a plug that prevents you from being stranded, or in a dangerous situation, because they simply won't fix your tire. Them blaming it on policy and manufacturer, so any foreign material is expectable to fix, but NOT a plug to get you out of jam. I will no longer spend my money at discount tire. I always go to discount tires for my tires. This location is good. They underestimated my time by and hour though but I didn't have an appointment. Said 1 hour 30 minutes actually ended up being 2 hours 30 minutes. I would recommend an appointment before coming. The Manager came to me and apologized without me asking. Manager and staff are great. Watching from the window you can tell the crew here works really hard especially in the summer heat. I'll be back for sure with an appointment when I need tires for my other vehicles. read more

About three weeks ago, I had two tires replaced, as well as a tire pressure sensor that my light was on for. When I left I thought okay, not such a bad experience. Until the next day, my light came back on, which it continued to do intermittently for the next three weeks until I had time to bring it back in yesterday. This time to a different location closer to my house. They tried clearing the sensor and sent me on my way only for it to come back on a mile down the road. I brought it right back to which they said they would need to replace it. Great. I made an appointment and went back to have it replaced today. Once it was done, they told me my total would be $64 (or whatever it was I paid the first time.). Shocked I said, you don't have a warranty? To which he responded with going out to the shop to get the sensor to show me this wasn't the type of sensor they carry. To which I responded, great so you're telling me the told me they changed the sensor when they hadn't. He tried to back pedal, and make it like they'd rotated my tires, I got two tires, ON THE BACK. They didn't rotate anything. Discount wont put new tires on the front of my car unless they're doing 4 new ones. They ended up calling it a warranty and not charging me again. The discount on San tan, charged me for services they never completed! All they did was clear the code, and move on with their day. Incredibly disappointed with them! Better make sure you check all the work done on your cars, chances are they're not doing what they say! read more

Friendly staff, quick service and overall excellent experience. This is a busy location so I called in advance to see the wait time because I didn't want to be stuck in the lobby for hours with a restless toddler. The gentleman that answered the phone told me it was currently an hour and a half wait but since I only needed one tire, they could do it in about 45 minutes. I headed straight in and true to their word, and even better... I was in an out in less than 40 minutes. The Customer Service at this location is second to none! I'm new to the area and had a slow leak in my tire. I went to the shop several times and they filled my tires for free. I finally decided to get the tire looked at and they inspected and repaired it for FREE!!! I thought I was dreaming, but no. I will definitely only go here for ALL my tire needs! Brought my vehicle in for a routine tire rotation. They brought my car to the front after service and told me that the vehicle was ready (1 hour and 30 minutes later). I got in the car and noticed that my tire sensor light was flashing. This has not happened before. I brought this to their attention and they told me "it was like this when you brought it in".... Well, I am a little disappointed. My previous review and associated complaint was responded to by the manager of this location. He said he wanted to "make it up to us" for the bad behavior of his employee and to give him a call. Now, we decided a couple of months later to go ahead and replace those two front tires anyway. He gave my wife a $10 discount on a $260 bill!! I guess that was "something" and it was "better than nothing", so maybe I am just being an asshole. read more

I didn't even Get my tires changed at this location, my friend did however it affected me directly so much I felt I needed to leave a review, I came to this location to pick up my buddy who was just simply trying to have a tire changed that was supposed to be done the day prior, What he and I both saw it should've been maybe a 15 to 20 minute process at most has now been about an hour -hour and a half, whilst we wait we both notice 4+ employees working on one car as well as two others walking around and not taking the initiative to come and get my friends car while he watches us pace back-and-forth or at least ask if we've been helped, like I said I am just a third-party but the service was so bad I felt I needed to comment anyway I would never recommend this location to anybody unless you would like your wheel to fall off well only doing 10 miles an hour read more

I've used Discount my entire adult life (23+ years). I have always been very satisfied with them as a company. Very competitive, great sales people, etc. I did have one incident at a store in TX where they used a screwdriver to remove my center caps and gouged the aluminum up on every wheel. Discount made it right. Every wheel got professionally refinished and I was satisfied. This brings me to my first and last experience with this particular location. I brought my truck in for a rotate and balance. The guy at the front desk was awesome. I explained to him that I am on my second pair of black lug nuts because the first set rusted after they were removed and installed with an air gun. I had no problem with that - lesson learned - I bought a new, better set that consisted of 24 black locking lug nuts - not cheap. I asked him if he wouldn't mind having the tech do them by hand so I don't have rust streaks all over my black lug nuts and wheels. He gladly said "of course!" Sweet. This guy understood. I pulled my truck in and I waited. As I'm sitting there, I can hear the tech talking loudly. After all, my truck was in the very first bay next to the waiting room. He said things like "What the hell? Is this a million dollar truck or something?" and "Oh! Don't hurt my lug nuts!". When it got closer to them being done, I stepped outside. Now I could hear him really good. He made several more rude comments and then, once I could tell he was done, I said "that's mine". I said to him "so, that was a pain in the ass, huh?" He said "yeah. Why did I even have to do that?" I told him "I heard every word you said". He handed me my keys and said "sorry" in the most condescending way possible. It was the first time I was made to feel like an a-hole by this company. In a nutshell, I'm never going back to his location. No wheel purchases. No tire purchases. Nothing. read more
