10/8/2018 Really again... it's even worse this time (see picture) NO mat covering placed down to protect my wet mats when I asked for one because I just had my car detailed I don't get you guys?? WHY is it so difficult to follow through with a simple request to protect our car Mats and Carpeting from the grease and oil filled shoes you have to wear. Geez!! 2.5 Stars... I think your location is on point "most of the time!" BUT.... what I think needs to happen is.. when your techs get in and out of cars, they really really need to put something on the floor mats, so their grease filled shoes don't get all over the customers (mine) floor mats. Two times now, when I spent $1000 on New Tires and then again today for the first Rotation & Balance of those tires, my drivers mat is a greasy mess! Do you know how hard that is to be to get off of Light Grey Mercedes car mats? C'mon Discount Tire, I blame YOU not them for not providing 'something' for them to lay down when they need to drive your vehicle in and out of the bays! Just Spent $1750 On 4 new Michelin 255/40 tires for a Tesla Y a the El camino location. After driving home found 2 tires without Valve Stems, one stem practically falling off. Checked tire pressure with a pro gauge- should have been 42 (Tesla recommended) They were 47lbs in the front and 48lbs in the rear. Come on guys, this not professional. this shop is awesome such a friendly and helpful staff! it was my first time getting tires from this location since i moved and everyone was so helpful. i called ahead and got an appointment day of and it took under an hour to get my new tires on. they even replaced my plastic tire valve caps with some nicer ones without me even asking:)! i appreciate all the help very much and will be making this my regular tire shop. read more

I have been coming here 15 plus years, made appt for a simple tire rotation ( Friday at 4) was the appt time ( never again ) staff were all young, music was loud, running around, they spent 20 min looking for how to turn off air suspension, while never actually doing that, they managed to adjust EVERYTHING else in my car from interior lighting to steering wheel and pedal adjustments. It was a very busy Monday morning, I could see the staff hustling to keep up with the demand. I stood inline for a bit and watched the guys working the counter. Very professional and very quick. Adrian assisted me with my tire needs, got my tire ordered and promised to send me a text when it was ready. He was cheerful and professional, which can be rare on an extremely busy Monday. When I came back, I got in line, about 3 people back. Adrian made eye contact with me and when he needed to walk out to another customers car, he asked what stall I was in and then offered to bring the tire to me. My husband took my car for a flat tire repair today. Not only did they finished promptly in less than an hour, they also check all the other tires and put tire dressing on all the tires!!! Everyone was very friendly, professional and efficient. And, the icing on the cake was there was no charge for this awesome service. I went here an hour before they closed and they still took me in . The staff here is so friendly and patched both my front tires on my car for free . I live in LA but I'm so happy I found these people so I could drive home and not having to worry about anything . This place is so great- I've had to replace two sets of tires and they always have fair prices and do a good job. The last time I replaced tires I sold my car a month later and my new car (different than the one I got tires on) got a flat and they plugged it for free since I had just purchased from them. They also recycled old tires that a previous owner had left on my property. Always super friendly staff. They are usually super busy probably because they are so good! read more

This is my first visit here. I came to this location with an appointment, which was useful on what seemed like a busy Monday for them. My Tesla stated 3 of my tires were not at optimal PSI. I was checked in quickly and the guy who handled all my transactions for the day was friendly. However my biggest reason why I knocked off so many stars is that they did not do a good job with my tires! Forty-five minutes of waiting was fine. The the first thing the employee told me was: "Your tires are in good condition". When I picked up my car, they said my Tesla tire monitor alert will go away after a few miles of driving. I know this after many times of picking my car from other locations. However, my tire pressure was still reading too low for 2 of the tires. But I stuck it out and waited for the alert to disappear until the next day. Which it did not. Long story short, I had to go myself to a gas station and put optimal pressure in my tires. The alert disappeared. What is the point of making an appointment for placing air in your tires if you are not going to fulfill the whole job? I am not returning to this location. read more

Brought my tire in to have it patched. After 3 hours received call back saying they could not patch my tire due to damage in the side wall. They gave my tire back with scratches on the rim, missing shrader cap, tire off the bead etcc. Went and pumped air in tire to find leak on the tread. This locations employees are a scam all they try to do is sell you new tires so they can get some commission. My tires have plenty of tread life. Will not be coming back here ever again for new tires or a free patch. What a waste of time. If You can do it yourself. read more

Absolutely AMAZING SERVICE from Junior and the team at Discount Tire!! I am so happy right now!! Went in for the free tire rotation service (one of the main reasons I've been a loyal customer for years). Then they truly went above and beyond. I had a bad stain on my wheel well and rim, wondering how was I going to ever get this stain off?!? Well within minutes, Junior put in the elbow grease and magic cleaner to get the stain completely out. Then, they hooked me up with a special pair of wheel locks because mine got stripped. To top it all off they shined my tires, even my spare and I drove away sparkling I'm feeling like a million bucks!! Love this place! While driving by before I saw there sign stating free air check so today when my low tire pressure sensor came on I came here. I was greeted right away. Turns out there were a few nails in my car and they took them out and patched my tire back up. Super nice and friendly employees. I also waited no more then 15 minutes I would say. I had a 9 a.m. appointment with the manager to purchase (four new Michelin Defender All Season Tires for wet/dry road conditions for my 1995 Honda Civic. A pro-rate credit was applied to my account for the four Pirelli tires I had replaced. The discount tire manager was very friendly and professional he made me feel welcome when I walked into the door. All the technicians at discount tire were very helpful and knowledgeable. Once again, I found myself in the midst of a schedule nightmare. I had to take two different sets of kids to school (crazy carpool) then go to work. As I jumped into the car in my p.j.s for round one I saw my flat tire, not kind of low, FLAT! I managed to take my hubs truck to school but on the way I called Discount Tire on Vista Way to see what they could do for my car. Long story short, they made arrangements for my car (without even having an appointment) to get straightened out and safely back on the road in time for the second round of morning carpool!!! I've done quite a bit of business with these guys. They stand by their products and service and have been fully supportive when I've had a problem. Their staff are consistently helpful and cordial. A special shout out to Joe who has taken care of me a few times. They tend to get busy but they keep their cool and are apologetic when their turn around times get long - but their text update system is really good and lets you know when they start work on your car and when it's ready so you don't have to hang around the shop waiting. Was in a pinch and desperately needed a new tire after a nail puncture. Luckily their warranty saved me and I was able to get a really good deal on tires during rainy season. I will say this place is always, always busy. Like just expect that you're going to have to wait. Just know that after that wait, it will be worth it. I've had zero issues with my tires. They have lasted wonderfully and I continue to get emails from them about tire pressure checks etc and its been great, from start to finish. read more

I was losing air in a tire less than a year old. Thought I purchased the tires at Discount Tire so I stopped in for a free air check. They added air and it lasted a day so I went back to get it fixed. As I stood in line I realized I actually purchased them at a different dealer. As the clerk was writing me up I asked how much for a flat repair, I just realized I didn't buy the tires from your company. He said it is free and I can get you in in about 5 mins. They worked on my car for almost 40 mins only to find a sticker had been left on near the seal that had caused the problem. I have always liked Discount Tire but that level of service was amazing. I came in around 11:30 AM on a Saturday to get my tires rotated here because it's a free service they provide if you purchased your tires from here. This location has amazing customer service - I was greeted the moment I walked through the door and someone was able to inspect my tires immediately (even though I was a walk-in)! After one of the workers inspected my tires, he carefully explained to me that my car's front tires were wearing out faster than the back ones. It was at this point that I thought to myself "this guy is gonna try to sell me new tires huh". It turns out he was just giving me a heads up that the front tires had about 10k more miles on them until they got dangerously worn out. He also explained that he would be rotating the front tires to the back so that the tread on my tires would all wear out more evenly. Overall, I really appreciated him taking the time to explain all this information to me. The entire tire rotation process took ONLY 20 minutes, which was shorter than their estimated time! The wait went by really fast since I ended up just walking to the nearby Target and doing some shopping. If you are looking for a location with unbeatable customer service, this Discount Tires location is the way to go! I will definitely be returning here for any auto services I may need in the future. read more
