Came in because of a flat tire a month ago. They didn't have the tire in stock, but they did a rotation for me. During this time, the tech broke two of my center caps but didn't say anything. I had to come back a few days later for the new tire to come in, and that's when I noticed that one center cap was completely missing and another was badly cracked. I brought this up to whoever I spoke with when I dropped my car off. He at first said *there was no possible way* one of his tech's could have been responsible, but I shut that down quick. Discount Tire agreed to order in new replacement caps and to call me in a week. They never did, so I followed up and was told they were on order, to call back in a week. I waited a week and a day, still no callback, and called in. Oh, they hadn't actually ordered the center caps and they were waiting on something? I spoke with Will, who was somewhat helpful, but every time I called in "Mo" who I was told is the manager was never available. It's now been a month, and just to recap how Discount Tire thinks: 1. A technician broke customer property (no biggy, mistakes happen) 2. The technician didn't say anything (not okay) 3. The person I spoke with immediately tried to deny any responsibility 4. Discount Tire did not follow up, I had to 5. Discount Tire continued this trend 3-total times 6. I had to buy my own replacement center caps for the property they destroyed I have used Discount Tires since I was a teenager, but after this I'm done. I brought my car in on the spare today and they did not have my tires in stock (they are somewhat of an obscure brand). They told me they would try to repair the damaged tire but I authorized them to put 4 new tires on if the tire wasn't repairable. It turns out they were able to repair it and sent me a text to come pickup. No charge. Now the 2nd time in 2 months that they repaired my tires for free. I did not even buy these tires from them. Was driving up I-5 and all of a sudden tire started dropping air pressure. Called the nearest location and spoke to Manny. Told him what was happening and he said get over here. Called at 30psi and we at 17psi when I pulled in the parking lot. He quickly pulled it in a bay before it went all the way flat, got a tech (Nestor) on it ASAP and about 12mins later I was ready to leave with a brand new tire. I dropped my car off at 8am. I was the 5th person in line. I checked in my car and the guy said it would be done by 10am. They have 3 open garages for tire change and I was 5th. I showed back up at 10 am and everyone else's cars that were here when I checked in was gone and they still haven't put my car on the racks yet. They clearly forgot about my car and now I'm gonna be late to my appointment. For now on even though this place is down the street from my house I'm going to a different one. read more

He gave me options for new tires, and a used tire. However, this location did not have a used tired that would fit my car. Well this was a great experience until it sucked. The guy who was helping me was very nice and helped me get the right tires and such. Unfortunately the mechanics who mounted my tires and messed with my wheels scratched the bloody hell out of the them with a full sized 22mm socket instead of a thin walled. Essentially them jammed their tool in and spun it about where it didn't fit. When I asked the guy later that day, he said they would pay for it to be fixed. Then later he said before he even brought up the issue, the mechanics said something like "Oh the car that we used the thin walled sockets on?" Wow that's not suspicious at all you covering your ass before told what the conversation was even about. That's like a dad calling their son and them saying "I DIDNT DO IT I SWEAR" and they were just being called for dinner. For context, I'm a huge car guy I know every single inch of the car. I actually by coincidence spent 8 hours just the day before washing, claybaring, polishing, and waxing the car. I literally went over every inch of paint and material 4 times. The scratches around EVERY lugnut on the wheels were not there right before and they certainly were right after. This is the only reason I don't give them the benefit of the doubt. And so the guy who I worked with essentially, in a very nice way, told me that's that and to go f!ck myself. I was speechless he didn't see what a flat out lie was, or he did and just copped out on it. I'll never be coming back to this particular branch. read more
