Had to make another stop to Discount Tire to get some new tires for my crossover SUV. I did some internet research to find a good deal, as Discount will match any online price. I found a smokin' deal on what I was looking for, so I headed up to the Shoreline store to see how long it would take to order the tires, as they usually don't carry that brand in stock. Mike helped me this time and was friendly and walked out to my car to look at some things I had questions about. After that, he had me price matched and a full installation quote pulled in about 3 minutes. He then tells me that they have the tires in stock and can have them installed in 20 minutes. DONE. Mike even gave me a great discount on the tire warranty and siping. Sure enough, car was sitting out in front ready to drive off in 20 minutes flat. I had my 4 year old daughter with me that day and it was great to actually have something delivered on time and in a friendly manner when waiting with your young child. Stellar customer service! I called ahead because I just got off at 5pm, one hour before they closed. They said they weren't slammed and encouraged me to come by, they looked pretty booked with 3-4 cars when I came in. I was able to get in to fix a flat and reset my tpms sensors to my winter tires just before they closed. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, I thanked the guys at the shop for getting me in on short notice. I have only been driving around 9 years, but in those 9 years I inherited from my parents a loyalty to Les Schwab - I don't know why they love LS so much, but I went anyway. The last time I was there, it was with my new car and a screw had punctured the sidewall rendering the tire useless. The most inexpensive replacement tire they could give me, or so they said, was over 200 dollars. Just for one. I wasn't looking forward to when I had to replace the entire set setting me back 800 bucks plus mounting, balancing and other fees. Well when the time came that all the tires needed to be replaced, I decided to check out Discount Tire's website after a few friends had sworn by them. First, I was really impressed that I can pick out my tire online, and it will tell me which location has those tires in stock. I also like that you can set an appointment time after you've chosen which tires you want. It was fast and convenient and didn't require me to call within their business hours. Major plus. I was also happy to see that the tires I looked at that were the same quality, if not better than the ones I got at LS were priced competitively, saving me almost 50 bucks per tire. Another major plus. My appointment was set for 4:30 in the afternoon but I arrived really early (4:00) so I expected to wait until my appointment time and then however long it took, but I was surprised when I was ready to go home at 4:40. I have always had my needs fulfilled from this location. The first time I came in, they helped me decide what was tire best for my driving style. In fact, he highly recommended a cheaper tire that had better reviews and I loved those tires. During a routine rotation, they noticed wear on my suspension and brought me out to show me what they found. Just yesterday, I got a nail in my tire and called them up for an immediate appointment to get the tire fixed free of cost. If you buy the tires from them, you get full service for anything tire related. Free balance, free rotation, free inspection, free air, flats fixed, free coffee. Add in the very cheap road hazard certificate and you get a free tire if yours gets shredded. All of this happens with a friendly smile in a clean store. read more

Went here to get my boyfriend's tires checked. Arrived around 9am on a monday morning and was expecting a wait. The mechanics were very courteous and I was greeted with an enthusiastic hello-- how can we help you today? I dpn't know many places that still greet like that. Once again Discount Tire exceeds all expectations. I found a piece of metal in my tire causing a slow leak on a Friday afternoon at 3:30 PM. I was able to go online and get an appointment for a flat repair at 4:30 PM at the Shoreline location. They now have a completely contactless operation in which you never even have to exit your vehicle, even when it's raised on the lift a couple of feet. Every employee interaction in this busy location was personal, polite and friendly. Todd, Chris, and Nicola, who did the actual repair, were a pleasure to deal with. Discount Tire provides free flat tire repair services and they do excellent professional work. Since they do not charge you for this labor, please consider tipping generously. What could've been a stressful situation late on Friday turned into one in which I was delighted with the level of service. I will never buy a tire anywhere else. read more

I have been going to Discount Tire Shoreline for at least 5 years. These guys are the best in the business. Best selection, best prices, best service. I've been a long time Discount Tire customer and my experience today will help to illustrate why. The tire pressure alert light on my dashboard suddenly came on as I was heading home from the airport. Nearly home, I stopped at this location for an air check. After the free air check, it was discovered that my front driver's side tire was about 15 psi below where it should be. The technician inspected the tire but couldn't find the issue so filled my tire and told me if I had any issue whatsoever later to bring it back. Sure enough, it became low a few hours later. So I did return, but here's why the team at this location is so awesome - they were 10 minutes from closing when I called and reported my issue, and I was 9 minutes away! Justin and his team stayed and waited for me and jumped on the issue right away. It turns out there was a nail on the inside of the tire that was very hard to see and unfortunately wasn't able to be spot fixed. I was about 6 months away from needing new tires anyway so Justin recommended some great tires that were just like the factory tires I had when I purchased the car. Bottom line - Justin and his team stayed late for me, got me 4 brand new (and guaranteed) tires at a fair price, and got the job done in 15 minutes. What amazing service! Thank you! read more

It's Saturday afternoon, and I get a call from my neighbor. He tells me that my car, which I have parked in my driveway, has a flat tire. Noooooo! I'm able to fill the tire with air, and I drive up to Discount Tire. I barely had my ear buds in when a guy called me over saying they found the screw that had caused my flat. This place is absolutely amazing, I really destroyed one of my tires on the freeway and brought my car in the same day to them to get a new one, saw that they had a special 100 bucks per tire so I asked them how much the rims worse is I been thinking about getting black rims for a long time on my new car. They said they can give me rims far down around were under 100 bucks as well. Long story boring after environmental fees and everything else installation etc., I walked out of there having paid 500 bucks for the sickest new rims and they threw the back tire I needed in for free! Great guys and great svc dept!!!! Not to mention I had to come back to get one of the bolts tightened the next week in which my tire pressure light came on, I didn't have time to stick around for them to figure out why the light was on so I just threw some air in it and said come back if it doesn't go off. It went off but a few days later came back on so I made the time to go in there and turns out I did somehow run over a nail, guess that's what I get for living next to a construction zone. I work at the Starbucks down the street, and Rorian (Rory) was in our drive though lane, when the car at our drive though window could not move out of park. I'm not sure about this place.... at first it was great. took my vehicles at this location all the time. However, now I'm experiencing some things and my wait times takes about an hour if not more. Just this week 1-28-18 through 2-3-18 i have taken both my cars in twice. (yes twice) I think they did their job or maybe hired some new guy not knowing what to do? I have a truck and it was running perfectly fine until i got my tires rotated and balanced. after receiving the truck back i drove it home. the next day later... I'm driving and my truck is making a squeaky noise and sounds like the ball bearing / cv axle joint is about to break. ( really sounds bad) I took my truck back in they said the ball bearing is broken and has about 2 - 3 inches of play and needs to be repaired and shouldn't be driven until fixed. I can't blame them.... but then again.... there was nothing with my vehicle. Therefore I'm not sure what's going on. Although, each visit I've done out of the four times I've taken my cars in this week only... I had to write a review. I've had to wait about 45 to 60 mins for each visit. plus extra 10-15 mins because of helping customers. I get that they're busy and doing their jobs.... but they also really, really lack on front desk staff. there's only two there and for each customers feels like an extra 10-15 min wait plus the hour. read more

Purchased several sets of tires from here for multiple vehicles and love the cost. Issues with this location are service and communication. Service is lacking. When you speak to the front desk in person, you are treated as just another customer that most likely has no clue what they are talking about. That may be the case for a lot of people but it should not be assumed for everyone. The place is very dirty. Bathrooms need serious attention. Floors in the main area look like they have not been mopped in a long time. Ceiling fans are covered in dust. Lighting is extremely harsh in the waiting room area with a bright white/pink lighting. When I purchased my last set of tires the servicemen neglected to put air caps on all four tires. The little things seem to be commonly overlooked. Communication is also subpar. My tires were not delivered for over two weeks when they were supposed to be in stock within 3 days. Never received a call saying they were delayed. When I called them, I was told that there had been a shipping issue. If I had not called, I would most likely never received another message. The value of the tires is great. The service is not. read more

This last experience I had was only slightly less than ideal because I experienced inconsistent, slightly half-hearted customer service, which I hadn't the last time I was there. I've always liked Discount Tire's customer service (all of their locations) as well as their prices and price matching abilities but this location bests them every other! I purchased a new set of tires from the Bellevue location and after a couple failed attempts there to correct a wheel shimmy I took my car to the Shoreline store to see what they could do (I had some free time while in the area). The associate there, Ian, listened intently as I explained my problem and said he would jump right on it to personally ensure my issue was resolved. I watched him take my car in and completely dismount my tires to discover that my problem was not actually an imbalance (as I was told by numerous other shops) but that the tire was not aligned properly to the rim--thus causing a slight bump I would feel on the highway. He trued the tire to the rim, did one final balance and I was on my way--no more shimmy! Ian is the first person to have thought outside the box to solve my vibration issue plaguing me for so long. I purchased tires from the online direct source and Mr. Wax has been kind of enough to service my out of store purchase. He also explained to me the Discount policy toward TPMS sensor kits which I greatly appreciated as the last Discount I went to did not and took me for over $60! Helpful, honest and timely as I didn't spend all day waiting for my mount and balance. Best discount I have been to in years. read more

It's Friday at 5pm and my tire pressure light comes on as it did the week before. After getting out and discovering a nail in my tire, I frantically look up who is open late enough that I can drive to and that can get me in before closing, since I was planning on making a long distance drive bright and early the next morning. I found a place that was open until 8pm and stopped in only to find out that they don't patch tires unless you purchased the tires from them. I was then directed to this Discount Tire location. Upon arrival, I was already a little frustrated, but was greeted immediately upon getting out of my car by a friendly and polite employee. I told him I thought I had a nail in my tire and he wrote down some information and immediately brought me into the waiting room and offered me bottled water and coffee and tea. Less than 15 minutes later, my tire was patched and my car was ready to go! I didn't even get charged for the patch! What began as a frustrating situation, was turned around by the stellar service I received. It was quick and painless and greatly appreciated. I will definitely come back to this location for any other tire needs. I was unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised by the great service I received. read more

These guys are nice, efficient and understanding. I came in during the "mega snowstorm" that wasn't all that mega after all. Regardless, I had managed to completely wear out an already worn tire on my Audi S4 by having a little too much fun in the 6 inches of snow. The spare I put on had a small leak so I was having to put air in it every day. I came to the Shoreline/Aurora store and explained the situation to Mike Parks, the store manager. I told him I was a bit strapped for cash and that I was only looking to replace two tires. Due to the AWD system on my car, I was informed that they could not sell me only two tires since the tread on the two tires not being replaced were too worn. Uneven tread wear between tires can apparently make an AWD system go screwy. I thought I was S.O.L. due to the fact that it would run me over $500 to purchase and install the cheapest tire package they had available for my car. I was pretty discouraged, but Mike, to my surprise, hooked me up with the tire package for only $340, all the money I had to spend on tires. I'm confident that if I only had $300 he still would have made it happen. Bottom line is that Mike would rather take a lower profit than see me drive away on two old, worn and leaky tires. Much kudos to Mike Parks and the techs. They have definitely converted me from a Les Schwab tire buyer to a Discount Tire customer. They will definitely be getting my business in the future, even though L.S. is only a minute away from my house DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION, and talk to MIKE! read more

Great customer service! I did my own research on tires and called this location to order them instead of doing it online to make sure there were no hidden fees. Tires arrived at the store the very next day and they could get me in same day for an appointment. Quoted an hour wait time once I got to the store for the new tires to be put on and the tire balancing (no wheel alignment service) to be completed and they were done in 40 minutes. This store is not as good as it uaed to be. I've spent $1300 here on tires in the recent past. Came in to have a flat repaired and the first response was "we can't fix that, you need a new tire". Perhaps I was there on and off there both times because my husband has now taking the car in for a couple issues and has gotten immediate service and he has been pleased with the response.
