Just bought a set of new tires here today. This morning, around 8AM, I ordered a set of Michelin Defender 2's online and setup an appointment for 1115 today. Their promise is you'll be out within an hour of your appointment start time. I arrived and was nicely greeted and checked in. Right at 1115AM my vehicle rolls into the bay. At around 11:45AM or so, the manager apologized it was taking so long. They hadn't even gone over the hour so no apology needed. At 1202 my vehicle rolls out of the bay and the keys are handed to me. This was a nice experience spending money on tires. Also, if you have ties to the military are sure to get the military discount, it saved me about $60 today. read more

Staff was friendly and kind. Atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Made an appointment before I arrived. They came out and inspected tires. Gave me a buy back credit for one of my newer tires, so I could change all four at the same time. They shared a screen with me on the customer side of the counter, which made it easy for me to see what they were quoting with the final total. Reggie ROCKED it for me. Four new shoes for my sled, installed the TPS sensors I had purchased, and all new lug-nuts (the old ones were worn out - didn't even notice. ALL of the above done expertly by Conner at a VERY reasonable (been outta work - Reggie worked with me) price. ALL in thirty minutes while I ate my sammich and had a front row seat. Discount Tire... The selling proposition is in its name. I think I was supposed to never do business again with them after the Loganville location stripped the stud off of one of my wheels because the technician thought they were part of a Nascar pit crew. Oh well. In this hyper-inflationary environment, did I actually receive a discount on my tire? Nah, this ish expensive af these days, as the kids would say. I didn't pay any more than I would've elsewhere, and that's got to be good enough at this point. There were a few service hiccups during my time. The first hiccup occurred when the person told me the tire would not arrive by my scheduled appointment time. He encouraged me to change my appointment time, and I did. The tire ended up arriving significantly before my appointment time. I went in when the store opened and hoped they could do my tires quickly. They managed to fit me in without issue. No harm no foul there. The second, slightly more annoying, service hiccup occurred when they proved to be yet another shop that doesn't know how to reset a Volkswagen's TPMS light. You guys, it's not a BMW. I wish it were a BMW, but it's a Volkswagen. If I know how to do it myself, and I can do it myself, maybe you can also? It was a good enough experience. I'm not going out of my way for them, but I would use them again. I'm also probably going to just get my next tires at a VW dealership or at least a European autoshop. read more

I do not recommend this place. I purchased 4 new tires and this is the level of service I received: 1. They put a large scratch in my leather steering wheel presumably getting into the car...the manager Tim Yi said "We are not going to do anything about that". 2. The lug nut torque was all over the place...some too loose, some too tight. They obviously don't use torque wrenches. 3. One missing valve stem cap, one silver valve stem cap, two black valve stem caps (came in with 4 silver valve stem caps). If this level of attention to detail is acceptable to you...by all means, go ahead. read more

I stopped by this store yesterday to see if I could get them to help me with a light that wouldn't go out after putting air in it. I met with Calvin initially. He began to reset the sensors with his re learn tool and came across a nail in a tire that wasn't triggering the sensor. Told me he could have it done in an hour, and actually was done faster. I also met with Zac Gordon, assistant manager and had a very pleasant experience with him also. These two guys were beyond courteous and helpful. Not only was it a great customer experience, but the tire patch was absolutely free. This store will have my business from now on. Deceptive practices! I called to get a quote for some expensive tires for my Mercedes. Calvin quoted me a price and talked about the wonderful benefits that come with all of their tire purchases. Choosing them over Mercedes, I went there to purchase the tires and was told it would be an additional $500 for the wonderful benefits he (Calvin) told me about. I asked why he didn't inform me of the additional $500 charge when I initially called and he said they don't want to confuse customers explaining it over the phone. Apparently they didn't want to confuse me when I dropped the car off, this waiting until it was time to pay. The price wasn't the issue...it was the deception when I called to get the quote which isn't customer friendly! Very dissatisfied! read more

I came in with a flat tire, and they patched it up at no charge and placed the spare back where it belonged (under the vehicle for a sienna). I love Discount Tire! Service is always fantastic. I've never been to one of their businesses, and had anything less than great service. Secondly, they offer free tire checks and will fill your tires if you need air. Third, they will rotate and balance your tires for free as long as they are under warranty, which is typically 60,000 miles, definitely long enough for the life of your tires. I think their prices seem fair. They were super fast putting on my new tires. Their waiting area chairs are actually comfortable, and the restroom was clean. They have bottled waters if you get thirsty. The only drawback is that they do not have free wifi. I asked about it, and the employee said they have been trying for quite a while to get Comcast out there, but to no avail. Strange, but hey, they were so quick, I didn't mind using data, just bummed I couldn't get on my laptop. Otherwise, I think they are the bomb, and my first go-to when I need tires. read more

Excellent ! This is the word that I would use for everything they did for me. I had a complex and money involving situation. But the staff and the manager, all took great care of me. Starting from what I wanted done and what they recommended should be done was a great input. They suggested me the best tires for my car and worked with me on it for a few days because I said earlier it was a big ticket. Hence we worked though every line item to make sure we got it right and that we were saving money wherever we were able to. They at no point tried to oversell me on anything and even offered that I should check the market for the best price and guaranteed that they offer the lowest price and in fact they do. I purchased two tires and four tire sensors at this store and had them installed all of them in November 2019, 9 months ago. All was good until a week ago when the tire sensors failed according to my car system. Went back to the store they added air to my tires and performed system test with a handheld device and said all was good and proper even though my car still read TPM malfunction, tire pressure monitor system malfunction. Was told to drive for about 15-20 minutes for the malfunction signal warning and lights to disappear on my odometer screen. The service agent assured that if it didn't work then bring the car back to the shop and they will replace the monitor(s) or to make sure they will work. Product and service were both with warranties. Never happened even after I drove my car for a few days, over 100 miles...... I went back to the store today to talk to the same service person to address the problem, he did not check the car again, instead he tried to explain to me that the parts were aftermarket parts that may not be suitable to my car and they would not be able to do anything more but maybe able to refund the charges......then he went to the back for a bit and came out, said to me the parts were legit to suit my car and they are with warranty for six years, still did not even check my car. He said they would not be able to do anymore and recommended for me to take my car to the dealership to perform inspections and then have the problem fixed there......beyond me! They did the work, made the money, offered full warranties and when problems happen they hide from responsibilities and told me to go to the dealership to fix the problem! No refund was offered, no solutions, and no knowledge of the car...... THEY DID NOT MENTION ANY OF THE POTENTIAL ISSUES WHILE THEY TOOK THE CAR AND REPLACED THE PARTS NINE MONTHS AGO! I called and asked if they did plugs for a nail in my tire. They said yes and to bring it over that they had space. All was good I was impressed with their attention to detail though I was aware part of it was sales pitch. They told it would be about an hour. Great! No more then 10 minutes passed and I got a call from Reggie. Tells me that the tire was showing secondary wear and that it was not reparable. I specifically asked if that was causing the leak and was told yes. They sold me on a new tire. No problem if it was needed. When I returned to pick up my car. I asked to see the old tire. They went and got it and the person showing me the tire, different from Reggie, was explains to me that the tire could not be repaired because the nail went in at an angle. Never touched the wall. It was on the thread area just at an angle. That is repairable. When I spoke to Reggie it was the unusual wear that was leaking. The part that makes me not trust them is that when I asked about the secondary wear on the tire he could not explain it. Reggie came out and pointed out to an area that did have wear but in no way was it showing what he said. I had no more time left to put that old tire back on. I had to leave! Really bad business because i would definitely needed a new set of tires by the end of the year. I would have returned. They did a free tire rotation. I also was going to have my curb rash on the rims fixed through them. Wow great customer service just to pull and extra $200 bucks instead taking care of the customer long term and making $1200! I talked to Chris, and he was so nice and professional. I asked how long it was going to take and asked if they had tires in stock for my car. He asked if I knew what size. I didn't know, so he gave to the price range and told me they could get me out in and out about an hour. I went to the store and met Chris. He is the nicest guy!!! He checked and explained in details what I needed. He said 3 of my tires were in yellow zone, but I could get away with just getting 2 replaced first. But happened they have Labor Day promotion. He showed me the numbers. I didn't feel any pressure at all but decided to go with 4. Chris provide top notch service! If you need tires, I highly recommend this place!
