Just wanted to give a shout out to Jonathan that helped me this morning. I brought in my Ford Edge that sustained a flat tire over the weekend. I had decided to bring it in to discount tire even though the tire itself was not purchased from branch. Upon initial inspection of the tire, a worker stated that the tire might be unserviceable due to my attempt in repairing it myself on the side of the road. However, Jonathan pointed out that the repair that I did was only a day old and approved the repair. I was on the road before I knew it, which I give full credit to Jonathan. This is one of the many reasons why I have continually choose this establishment over all the others. Will most definitely be back. read more

My son took his truck in there today to have 500 dollars worth of tires put on. Payed before leaving. Received a call a few hours later telling him one of the employees hit another car in his truck And caused a dent. Go to pick it up and it's much more than a dent. The gentleman helping us barely apologized and said "accidents happen" tried to give us a business card with a 800 number to the claims department. Was told they didn't know who the other car belonged to so they couldn't file a claim to give us a claim number. Refused to give a written statement of incident. After we said we weren't leaving without something we waited while he called a claims manager to figure out what to do. Mind you, they had hours after the incident before we came to get the truck to figure out what to do. We left with a claims number finally and were told someone will get a hold of us in a few days, voiced our frustration over the whole thing. The gentleman replied again "accidents happen, and he is just a tire guy!" No sincere apology, discount on already paid services offered. Incredibly horrible customer service and seemed not to care in the least that the truck was damaged due to their employee. Now it's time off work and loss of money to fix a truck that was in great condition before we PAID this place to put new tires on. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN THIS COMPANIES HANDS!! read more

Buy the tire insurance! I am rarely buy extra insurance on products but have twice at Discount tire and it has paid off. But before I go into that, their customer service is the best. They are quick, professional, and make you feel like an important customer. We were on a road trip, hit a post in the road and it slashed our tire. We knew the tire was destroyed and the rim looked pretty bad. The next day we brought it into Discount Tire and got a new tire and they said the rim was fine. We only had to pay a little over $30 out the door for a new tire because we had the insurance. About a year ago the same thing happened with another car that got a screw/nail or something in a place that could be repaired. Both cars have expensive tires. Buy the insurance the incredible customer service comes free. read more

JUST had the BEST tire experience EVER at the new Discount Tire on 192nd! Read if you have tires... (my review was also posted on Fb Group "Vancouver Talk") One of our rental vans developed a not-so-slow leak out of the blue with no visible damage and good tread remaining.. It's scheduled to go back out tonight on another trip and I Was worried I might have to replace this tire.. Called James (a manager there) late yesterday to ask about repairs.. He told me to come on in and they'd repair it for free.. Of course being a skeptical, cynical person I went in kinda expecting some BS or bait & switch.. We arrived this morning to an awesome, friendly staff and Issac came out to the van to check us in.. I mentioned that James said they did FREE repairs.. Issac confirmed. They took the van inside and we took a seat in the waiting area which was spotless and smelled great (as did the bathroom).. During our short wait I asked Isaac to quote me on a set of tires I planned on buying soon.. their prices were the lowest I've seen (even compared to Walmart..) and he told me about a big rebate that'll save me even more in July. About 30 minutes later Cam came out of the shop with my key and said the leak was coming from a bad bead seal. They cleaned up the tire/wheel contact area and added a bead sealant to prevent any future leaks and reset all the pressures.. My wife was expecting a bill for all this but Cam said it was all done and we were free to go! You should've seen her face of disbelief.. She still can't believe it lol. James and his team were all AWESOME.. It was an amazing experience in a time of gimmes and gotchas and We'll be replacing the tires on all of our vehicles there from now own... I'm just gonna put this out there - my damn car EATS tires. Seriously, no joke. I've had this car for almost 4 years and I've had to replace the tires TWICE already. Ridiculous. While having to replace your tires every couple years SUCKS, Discount Tires has helped take the sting out of buying new tires. Both times their associates have been helpful at finding me reasonably priced tires, ordering them quickly, and getting them installed without hassle. Each time I set an appointment for installation over my lunch hour and I was in and out within thirty minutes, which is so appreciated - who wants to spend their entire lunch hour sitting in a tire shop lobby?! I've been here a few times. To buy tires and to have a flat repaired. Every time I've had the same experience. The employees we helpful and welcoming. Which isn't common in today's customer service. They are upfront about wait times as well. The only complaint I have was the loud country music in the lobby. I will definitely return when in need of tires again. read more

My husband bought $1600 worth of tires, he asked to keeep his old tires because he had someone that offered him$200 cash for the used tires. Discount tires damaged the old tires getting them off the rim. Completely destroyed the tires, all they would do to make it right was take the old tires without charging us. I brought my Mazda 3 hatch in at 9:30 this morning to get my tire checked out for a leaking air valve that needed to be replaced. Aaron Bray checked me in and shortly after arriving, a line formed behind me. Estimated wait time was an hour but they replaced the valve and rotated my tires within 30 minutes. AT NO CHARGE! I needed a new set of tires for my 08 Honda Civic. since there's a wide selection of qualities, warranties, and price points, I went in having done my research and knowing a few tire sets that I liked. Jared behind the counter suggested I go with the more expensive set of Continental Contact touring tires, around $100/tire. I agreed that they were probably better quality, and the lifetime would be better. We went out and looked at my old tires on the car, he took a few notes, and then we went back into the office and he gave me a final price. I said it was a bit over budget, and he mentioned a few other tire sets at a different price point that would be alright. I said I would rather stick with the Continentals, and he actually cut out the tax for me! Excellent service and he didn't pressure me to buy anything, just gave me his experience with better tire models. They worked quickly, I was in and out in about 30 minutes. The facility is clean, and they have coffee and magazines available. I sat at the window and watched them work on my car, which was very interesting and informative. The techs all worked in a team to get my car done quickly and with precision. I am thrilled with how they look and feel, and know I got a great deal for a high-quality set of touring tires. I spent the extra $70 to get the warranty too, since I work in commercial real estate and have seen coworkers hit nails/screws/pot holes... I bought my tires from these guys, well not 'these' guys, but another store in the same chain. I didn't get any of the additional tire insurance they always seem to offer, but was pleasantly surprised to have them happy to fix my slow leak for free, and happy to rotate my tires for free. In fact, this particular store was filled with a bunch of young guys who were, across the board, super happy to help. My entire experience at this branch was five stars from the moment of arrival, I was waiting on their carpet runner in front of the clerk stations for less than 10 seconds before one of the busy clerks acknowledged me, thank you. I'm guessing that the store layout is the same as all the Discount/America's Tire stores, they all have nice big, high ceiling display rooms with lots of comfy chairs. This one seems to have more plants and trees around it as well, making for a more peaceful wait for your car. And waiting was something I didn't do very much of here. I came in during a relatively slow part of the day and was in and out in about 15 minutes. In the end, they made a few recommendations (but no hard sell) and gave me a receipt showing everything they had done. The place is clean and organized, but it was the service that really stood out for me. How can all those guys be so happy to be helping drivers with their tires? It definitely was Not that way at the branch that I actually bought the tires from, it was fine, just not so welcoming.
