Being nice can't fix stupid: They gave up on my car when they couldn't get the lugs of. They gave up without using a breaker bar, or lowering the van back down for more resistance. They gave up after breaking 3 sockets by STANDING on their wrench. The manager told me to go to another place that would try harder. Meaning, "we don't try as hard..." Great marketing for yourself Mr. Manager. I went home and loosened them up MYSELF. Thicker socket attached to a pipe. Tada!!! Not difficult when you use your brain. Highlights: The manager telling me "we don't try..." Take pride in your work man!!! Standing on a wrench Two of the lugs they loosened still being loose when I did things myself. They were snug but not torqued. Jacking up all four tires on a slope. Wrenching on the tires mid air on slope. One guy inside the van holding the brakes and steering wheel, because once again, they forgot to loosen them on the ground. Me doing what four dudes couldn't figure out. Them rolling a dirty wheel over the drivers seat and out the driver door, instead of simply using the side door. Seriously wtf how high where these guys. Digging my door on their jack ever time they opened it. Having to go to a different shop that "try's harder" in the end. (Arvada location if you're wondering 7min away) after I loosened the lugs myself. To their credit, they where nice about their short comings. My lugs WHERE overtightened. Their equipment was $*** They refunded me. Seriously, who just admits to not trying as hard as they could and sends you away? read more

After buying tires from them with replacement certificate. I stopped in a couple of months ago with at slow leak. After a couple of hours wait got the car back only to have the same tire start leaking again a couple of weeks later. Stopped in and was told the wait was 3.5-4.0 hours or I could come back in a week for an appointment. Who has that kind of time? read more

Although this store was very busy and I had to wait two hours as a walk-in, only to end up leaving my tire when I ran out of time, my tire was repaired for the next day by Anthony B who provided excellent, courteous, and efficient service, with no charge since my tire was under warranty. read more

I've been going to this Discount Tire for over 15 years. In that time, there have been some ups and downs, but under the current management, they've been exemplary. The older I get, the more important customer service becomes to me. I can get tires in a dozen places near my home or office, and I can get the great warranties and basically the same price on tires in just about all of them. What I can't get is the great customer service I get at this Discount Tires. I've been here three times over the last sixth months. On the latest couple of visits, I swung by because I had a low tire pressure light on. I went in on a Tuesday just before lunch, expecting it to be less busy. Unfortunately it wasn't. It took about an hour to get in and out. That said, I didn't mind -- the team here found that I had rust along the rim of my wheels causing low tire pressure in one of them. They fixed it up, and for free. When I got back in my car, I noticed that the low tire pressure light was still on. I was told that I'd need to drive a bit for it to turn off. Unfortunately, 24 hours later, it was still on. You would think this was a bad experience, but the service here made it stay positive. I called in and asked about the light, letting the manager (Jeremy, who'd answered) know about my issue. He apologized and asked if I could swing by again at my convenience. When I went back in, they jumped me to the front of the line. They respected the tires, all of which had air pressure levels that were fine. The issue turned out to be one with the air pressure monitor, which would need to be replaced for $60. Because I had to come in again, without even having to ask, the manager gave me half off. I was blown away. As a waited for this to be fixed, though, I was even more impressed. In the ~15 minutes I was there, besides my own personal experience, I witnessed two other outstanding displays of customer service. In the first, Jeremy, the manager, ran from behind the desk to outside. I was a bit confused, but when I turned around, I saw he and another Discount Tire employee out in the absolutely POURING rain helping to push a customer's car safely to neighborhood roads. Wow. Then I saw him run back in. "Who's got the Honda Accord out there?" he said. When no one answered, he ran behind the desk, shuffled through the collected keys, and found the keys to the Honda, then ran back outside. He'd noticed the driver's window was down and rolled it back up, preventing the inside from getting drenched. Really impressed with this place and will definitely be back any time I have an issue with my tires! read more

I consider myself to be a smart and savy buyer. However, I'm also loyal to businesses with great customer service. Which is why I was so set on using Costco as my primary tire center. Unfortunately, Costco priced me pretty high for the tires I wanted. Obviously it was a reasonable price, but nonetheless it was out of my price range. So I shopped around and found Discount Tire right down the road. Matt, was very professional and understanding and worked with me to not only match Costco's price, but when I told him it was still too high, we worked together to find a tire that was cheaper, but still good quality. He showed me the performance rating and test results of several tires in different price ranges and I ultimately chose a cheaper tire because I felt that the more expensive ones would not last 1.5x to 2x as long as my budget tires. And ended up adding on the certificate which basically buys you a brand new tire should they not be able to repair/patch the tires. The one and only had a flat as we were leaving the house. So I threw the spare on and we headed to the nearest tire place. Great service can be found at this Discount Tire, which happens to be the closest one. Right as we pulled up someone was coming out to greet us. Before 5 minutes went by, we were in the system and the guy was taking the keys to get the tire fixed. Not only did they fix the tire that had a "huge" screw in it, but they checked them all and found a nail in another one. So they fixed that one as well. They also swapped back out the spare and tucked it nicely back in the trunk. All in all it took about 45 minutes start to finish, which was well worth it, especially since they didn't charge us a dime. That's hard to beat since we didn't even buy the tires there. The worst discount tire I have been to. I took my truck in for a rotation and new tires on my trailer. It started off okay, normal wait time and then they told me they were just about finished and would let me know when it was done. 40 minutes later I had to seek someone out to find out what was going on, he said oh yeah that was done a long time ago....thanks for telling me! After I left I realized they did not reset my TPMS sensors so I will have to set them myself, whatever it's happened before, but then later I realized the center caps on my wheels were about to fall off! The bolts to secure them were put in crooked and cross threaded, I lost one of the bolts but thankfully noticed before I lost the whole thing. I went around to check, and all the bolts were loose or improperly installed. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I made a 10:30 AM appointment to have my summer tires swapped to my winter tires. My experience with this service, which is $80, is that they do it right away. Especially if you have an appointment. See my review of "the tire store" to see what I mean. The half a dozen people waiting in the entryway was my first warning, but it wasn't until after spending 10 minutes waiting in line that I was told it would take an hour to swap my tires. If I had been a walk in, I still think I would have left. As I was leaving, now at 10:45, I heard the guy behind me say that he had a 1030 appointment as well. At least he will get his tires swapped a little sooner since they don't have to deal with mine anymore. read more

They just hooked me up ($0) with a 4 wheel balancing that completes extensive work on my suspension of Subaru outback. I got CV axles replaced, new tires, alignment and struts done in past few months. The steering wheel was vibrating between 60-70mph, so all signs pointed to a balancing issue. The small tire shop along Federal that installed tires initially said they were balanced (not quite), Firestone wanted $56 and couldn't get me until following day, but Discount Tire got it done in an hour. I love the service at this location. Lately, we had a flat and we were stuck without a spare. With 20 minutes until they closed, we called them and they waited for us. We were lucky and were able to get the tire off, and brought it the store, just a few minutes before they closed. My tires were still under warranty, but I expected to pay a prorated amount for a new one. The damage was on the sidewall, and no repairable. Instead, the manager comped the entire cost of the replacement tire, and had his technician stay late in order to mount it. (It was on Friday also!). Saved quite a bit with lower cost tires and the tire reviews were right. At this location I was in and out pretty fast at low cost. For big savings and speedy handling it gets my approval. Frankly I did not expect it. I had planned to try Costco but they handle well known tire names. So I had bought a previous tire from discount tire co. Within a few months it popped. I tried to put on my spare. They had over tighten the lug nuts and I couldn't get them off so had to drive it on a flat to discount tire. When I got there I asked to buy a used tire. They didn't have any. Told me I had to but a new tire. So then I asked if they could put on my spare and they told me no. That they can't touch cars unless I buy a new tire even though I was a returning customer. So then I asked for them to help me just take off the lug nuts. The guy refused at first to even help me do that until I had to get a attitude with them and I had to change my own flat tire in front of their building even as a returning customer.
