Excellent service! They made a mistake, but went above and beyond to correct it; that made a lasting impression and I will be back for my future tire/service needs. I special ordered tires & wheels. A week later, I went to get them installed...found out, it was the wrong bolt pattern on the wheels. Either they mis-ordered them or it was a warehouse mistake. They apologized and re-ordered them. Next week, I get there, they offered me quick service and gave me new wheel-lock bolts, no charge; to make up for the goofed up order. They also discovered one of my wheel bolts where bent. I had a pair of tires mounted and balanced on loose wheels at an independent tire shop on Federal Blvd. twenty six days ago. When I mounted these tires on the front of my vehicle this week it was experiencing extreme vibration in the steering at 55-65 mph. The independent tire store gave me the runaround when I returned and asked them to check the tire balance. I decided to go back to this Discount location due to previous positive experience. I also know Discount has highly trained employees and the latest state of the art mounting and balancing equipment. I fully expected to pay for rebalancing. However, Ross took care of me and had my tires rebalanced at NO charge. Thanks Ross, and thanks Discount. read more

Scheduled an a appointment for 1pm showed up at 12:55 and checked in with them telling me there's going to be a ten minute wait as two others are ahead of me. 20 minutes goes by then I'm told I'll be able to pull up once a tech comes over to greet me in about another 10-15 minutes. After getting my vehicle on a lift it then takes them 20 minutes to change the one tire! I used to work at a big O tire and know I would have been fired for taking four times the regular swap time. Paid $210 for a single Bridgestone! and another $100 for the four wheel protection. Checked the new tire pressure (low) since I asked them not to fill the others tho they did anyways. I wasn't surprised to find the new tire was low since they filled it while it was still off the car and didn't check it once the vehicle was on the ground. Hope I don't ever have to use the warranty as I'll be waisting another lunch break waiting on the only thing they do here. (Unrelated to my three star) they don't have any other tools here so if you have lug caps or special locking hubs feel free to visit O'Reillys a block away as I did while they checked my tire on day one for leaks and day two since they didn't have my tire in stock so I was back returning tools while they swapped on day two. Called and set up a 12 appointment for a tire swap, I had the tires. At 1:20 my car was finally rolled into the dock. And at 2pm I was finally on my way. Why even set up an appointment? There were drop ins that were taken care of before me. I if have a 12 appointment my car should be in the dock at 12:15. If you're gonna get my car in the dock at 1:20 set up a 1:15 appointment. Poor customer service. Obviously more concerned about the number of customers they can squeeze in rather than service. I will not ever buy a tire or get serviced at a discount tire facility again. Which is saying a lot cause I've never been anywhere else in my life. read more

These guys are great -- and honest. I had a roofing nail in my tire and took it here. They removed it, vacuumed out my truck and rebalanced my tires for no charge. I didn't need new tires, but when I do my next set will come from here. This stands in contrast to the Pep Boys a couple of blocks south. I left there and went here. I bought a set fo tires from PB last fall, even though I wondered then if I really needed them. I had a slow leak in a tire and took it to the Wadsworth Pep Boys. The tires looked fine, but the salesman at Pep Boys said they were "just" below where the state says they can't be repaired. I should have asked to see the measurement. And since it's a 4-wheel drive, they "have to" sell me four. That was about 800 bucks. So the tires came with "free" repair, so when I spotted the nail this week I took it into Pep Boys expecting no charge. They looked at it and said, gosh darn it, the nail is in the center of the tire so they can't fix that -- which, I found out later, is hogwash. (The Tire Industry Association has a video on its website showing a tired being repaired with a nail in almost same spot.) Discount Tire fixed it without question, and the repair guy wouldn't even take a tip. That's integrity. I'll do business with a place I can trust, which is this Discount Tire location, not Pep Boys. An $800 scam or no charge layered in courtesy. You decide who you want to do business with. read more

I made an appointment to get new tires using their online system, which was a breeze. They were extremely busy and quoted me 50 minutes. Exactly 50 minutes later my car was ready. All seemed good until I woke up the next morning to find one of the tires was flat. When I called they laughed and ensured me I had run over a bolt (seems unlikely on my 5 mile drive home), but said they would repair it since I had bought the protection plan. I had to call AAA to rescue me. The AAA mechanic said that they did not properly seal my tire when they put it in causing a slow leak. Discount Tire said that they did not properly connect a sensor. To their credit, they inspected and repaired it quickly. Overall, I was pleased with both my initial and repair experiences, but I remain annoyed at how I was treated over the phone (and the fact that I had to go through the repair process in general). read more

He's been able to provide the best service and excellent referrals to local places providing alignment and other services. He works fast and makes sure you leave happy. I asked the clerk to have them not fill up my tires with air because I just got them filled with nitrogen. Looked outside over my shoulder and a tech was filling them up with air. Communication is key and this shop is lacking it. I had to go get them refilled with nitrogen which cost me an extra $20 for a grand total of $40 for having Discount Tire rotate and balance my tires for "free". This is the third Discount Tire I've had the opportunity to visit this year--today, I needed to get my tire replaced under warranty. Would the third time be a charm? Since this is the branch closest to my house, I was hoping for a little bit more, but they had the tire and I had the time, so I was happy to check them out. After calling ahead to make sure they had the model I needed, I popped in and talked to a customer service rep, Ari. Within a couple minutes of arriving, he'd walked me out to look at the FUBAR tire, given me a vague price estimate ("best case scenario, it's free, worst case, it's pro-rated by wear"), and offered me a seat in the lobby while the crew got to work. 70 minutes later, he called me up to retrieve my ride. While ringing me up, he informed me the replacement was only twelve bucks, like last time (GREAT news), and that they had gone ahead and replaced the other three, too (".... ...wait, what?"). Homeboy reassured me that he was just joking, but after spending most of the morning trying to get the issue resolved, I guess I was past the point of kidding by then. Ask me about being a humorless stick-in-the-mud! Sorry I didn't laugh, dude. I was just ready to get out of there by that point. Let me be clear: this experience was neither better nor significantly worse than any other trip to Discount Tire. I will gladly bring my business to the chain again--especially if this replacement fares anything like its predecessor. And I'll even be happy to drop by this smaller neighborhood branch, too. I just hope, for mutual satisfaction, that I'm in a less-misanthropic mood by the time I grab my keys. read more

In a whole, I've had great experiences with Discount Tire just NOT this store!. What I've experienced is each store is drastically different. This store is one of the worst around, stay clear of this one and go to another one, maybe the one on West Colfax. I ordered a set of new tires for my FJ Cruiser on "Black Friday" when I placed the order Shawn said He would have them in a few days as he had to order them. 2 weeks go by and nothing.. I call them and they say they're expecting them in a day or 2. Another 8 days go by and I call them and they magically have them. Funny thing is I stopped by another store while I was waiting for them to be delivered and they said they had them in stock and could install them today. I wondered why wouldn't the store I ordered them from just call and bring them over to the store I purchased them from? Seems logical to me since the stores were only 2-3 miles apart. Pissed me off they didn't even say sorry for not calling me when they arrived. Nothing! Even when I complained they didn't give a shit. Like I said, most Discount Tire stores are good, but this one sucks really bad! Don't go to this store unless you have 3 good hours to kill too. I bought four snow tires from this location about a year ago. Also purchased a warranty regarding these tires I had a flat tire while diving down the hiway - roadside assistance changed the tire I took the tire back to discount to get it fixed they I fixed it in 4hours but refused to put it bAck on the car unless I waited att least an hour and a 1/2 - or they told me I could come back in a week. And 1/2 due to them being so busy - I couldnt believe it I. Asked the guy if he was serious - he said he was so I had a choice to wait an hour and a half to put on one tire- I felt that was. Quite a while to wait. So I drove down the street to Big O tire and told them what the discount tire guy told. Me. Well 10 minutes later I was on my way with all four tires. In tack. I had a flat tire this morning on the way to the ski slopes. I blew up the tire and found this store. They didn't open until 8:00 a.m. It turned out I needed a replacement snow tire which I had already paid the road hazard fee for when I bought the tires. This is crazy. They had the tire replaced and all of my tires checked and I drove away in 20 minutes. Where else can you get service like this? I am fairly old and don't remember service like this in my lifetime.
