Also when I asked them if they were running behind at 2:00, the tech said "no". He then looked at my appointment and said "well, we are getting caught back up". Discount tire is the best place to get your tires and wheels hands down. I have been to multiple locations and always received the same great service. I stopped calling around after finding they were always the cheapest. Sometimes by only a few dollars and sometimes by quite a bit but always the cheapest. We started coming to discount years ago when I happened to stumble across them in a desperate time of need after getting a flat. Not only did they fix the tire that I didn't buy from them free of charge but they didn't even try to sell me anything or tell me my tires were bad and try to push product on me. Just thanked me and sent me on my way. So rare to find that anymore. I never feel like they are trying to push repairs or purchases that you don't need. More often than not they are going out of the way to find you discounts and save you money. They send you friendly reminders via email when it's time to have your tires rotated and to check pressure. I bought a set of tires online and loved the scheduling process during checkout. (Great pricing, too!) I picked the earliest time of the day to ensure they wouldn't be "behind" yet, and when I got there at 8:15 for my 8:30 appt. I was greeted with nothing but sweet smiles, kind voices and the utmost professionalism. This honestly took me by surprise because it was the morning of July 5th, and I was prepared for a bit of hung over staff from the 4th of July weekend. All the staff that I saw were very clean cut and pleasant, and carried themselves with a great deal of professionalism. No slouching, hanging around, everybody looked like they were working their hardest to fulfill their duties with the most positivity that they could. They seem to have a very streamlined process for check-in and reminds me a lot of how efficient Chick-fil-A is. Anyone who eats there should know what I mean! I appreciated the opportunity to choose whether to remain in my vehicle or wait in the lobby while they installed my new tires. I chose to wait in my vehicle. While in there, I appreciated that all the staff within earshot of me were never inappropriate or disrespectful in their conversation, like in most shops of any automotive repair. Good price on tires. If you go towards the end of the day you may want to watch the quality of work. Seems they are too excited to leave and prefer to scream and yell rather than do their job. The tires they installed had one flat in the morning. Seems they didn't make sure the valve stem held air. Holding air is somewhat important for a tire to do its job. read more

Then when I told him I was there bc my tire light came on, he asked how long I'd been driving, I responded, "24 years." And he laughed. Kudos! I took my car in to get my tire looked at and if needed fixed as it was going low every day. I also had asked for them to recalibrate my tire pressure sensors. Instead of correcting my tire, they took the lazy way out and put a thread plug in my tire and didn't tell me. Also, instead of recalibrating my sensors they just switched the ones that were mixed (FL to BL) (BL to FL). As I got up this morning to make a run across town I was surprised to see my tire at 23 PSI. I went to the nearest pump and filled it and went on to finish my business and on my way back saw a different discount tire. I then went there and they saw the tire thread told me everything and preceded to fix it the correct way. I had to buy a whole new tire. Just surprised you could be payed for this and be so lazy and not tell me anything about it. read more

We have been customers W/D.T. for many years, in fact we thought Hibdon Tires was the only place to get a good deal. My Wife even went to High School W/The Hibdon's. She thought it was rather cool to see what kind of car they would have their Sophomore-Senior years, considering it was in the late "70's. As the years progressed and we got older and our cars lasted longer we would go through quite a lot of tires, especially My Husband who averaged around 1,600-2,000 Miles weekly and I as a CNA/HHA traveling around 800-1,200 Miles weekly, this not including vacation or errand miles.The Hibdon Tire employee's becoming less reliable and more obstinate and I must say VERY rude at times that we decided NEVER to take another vehicle of ours their EVER again. We were EVER so JOYFUL when we finally received a Discount Tire Store in Yukon, OK after living here in Yukon for 22yrs.
