I had gone a different time but this most recent trip the food was better. Great prices and great portion size. I like the spring rolls too.

Mood- Celebration Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. Was given the option of scanning the QR code or using the menus that are on the table. You know this Covid way of life. Have to be safe at all cost. Drink order was taken. Opted for the Pho Chin Gau Bo Vien, Egg Rolls, Chicken Fried Rice, Thai Tea, & Bun Thit Nuong. Honestly My highlight was the Pho and The Bun Thit Nuong. The portions were good, and the flavor was well put together. One thing that I thought was neat, all of the utensils came wrapped in plastic to ensure safety. I have never seen that before. I usually eat with Chopsticks and those came in an extra wrapping as well. Interior is fairly large. Several table and chair arrangement. A TV adorned the wall, and music was playing in the background. Everything was very clean. Staff was wearing masks to ensure good ol safety. I came later as they were near closing, however I was able to order and sit down to enjoy my food. I will admit after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant on what to expect. But I think it is like life, some days are good, some days are bad. It is up to you to explore and find your happy medium. Today was a good day for me with the food and service I received. When I go out and entertain different establishments my review/rating - is based on the whole experience. Food/Service/Cleanliness/ - price point & portions are a variable but not a determination. District 7 Pho just opened at Rancho & W. Craig with an impressive new restaurant. The soup is healthy and delicious when it's spiced right. We got the brisket pho to go, with the usual rice noodles, cilantro, bean sprouts, green onion, and jalapenos. For gluten free diners like my daughter, this is a perfect meal that's rice, meat, and veggie based. Good broth is important with pho and District 7 has a flavorful one, the right blend of star anise and the 4 C's - clove, coriander, cinnamon and cardamom. Not only does the pho taste great, but they use purified water from a large new reverse osmosis system. I wonder how many restaurants in town just use crummy tap water for their pho (note: the broth is different for chicken and beef pho here....their beef broth seems to have more flavor). Another great idea is an ultraviolet filter inside their air conditioning system, which serves to kill airborne irritants and mold spores.  That might not sound like much, but diners with respiratory allergies and breathing issues will appreciate this. And with a virus on everyone's mind these days, purified air that circulates while you eat is a big plus. District 7 also has some entrees like vermicelli, rice plates, and grilled meats.  We got shrimp fried rice, which came with a generous portion of shrimp, as well as a combo plate with grilled chicken pieces, egg roll, rice, cucumber, and an odd shrimp patty which looked like a miniature egg foo young.  All entrees were very good, but the pho is what will bring us back. Sinatra was singing "Fly Me To the Moon' on the sound system and the restaurant seems to have a relaxed, pleasant vibe with about 20 tables spaced apart. The kitchen looked spotless. Dine-in, pickup, and delivery are all available. Yelpers, don't pho-get to check in to receive a free soft drink. I will probably never eat at a Vietnamese restaurant named 'Pho Q and the Horse You Rode In On' but I will definitely visit District 7 Pho again, which sounds much more authentic. Ho Chi Minh City is broken down into 24 districts and District 7 is a newer, cleaner part of town so it seems fitting to have one in Centennial Hills. Was very surprised to see a new Pho restaurant in the Plaza so my father and I had to check it out! We are not on this side of town often, so we were very excited to try a new Pho place. I got the number #20 while my father got #22. I very much enjoyed my Pho and the broth was great. I liked that they had a bottle of fish sauce to add to the soup as an option too. The clams tasted good as well especially with the bits of cilantro that were added. We also had spring rolls (not pictured). I hope to try the garlic spare ribs next time! I really want to love this place but they are not consistent. The first two times we ate there it was amazing! The restaurant is super clean and the staff is ok. The third time we made a to go order and ordered chicken fried rice, and #39 Grilled Pork, Egg Roll, Vermicelli. When I got it home we were disappointed. The fried rice had the frozen peas, carrots and cilantro in it with all dark meat. Not at all like the picture showed. The picture on line when ordering shows white meat, thinly shredded carrots and green onion. I guess they substituted the onion with Cilantro. Fine, I can pick out the peas. The biggest disappointment was our main dish. #39 Grilled Pork, Egg Roll, Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli. The BBQ was like shaved pieces. Not even one whole piece, they were like scrapings from a pan. The only vegetable we got was lettuce. Like the pictures show and how we have ate it two times before, it is supposed to have carrots, bean sprouts, cucumber, basil and peanuts. None! Only lettuce. If I wasn't so tired and hungry I would have driven back down and asked them to remake it or refund my money. This place is not cheap, more than other Pho places so I do expect to receive what is supposed to be in the dish. Our meal was just blah. We discovered a new pho place on our side of town. This truly is one of the best pho restaurants we've tasted in recent times. The broth is made from bone broth, bones sautéed from early morning to make the most tasty pho broth you've ever had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place is so clean when we first walked in we thought it had just opened. Once we asked, we've learned they had been open for two years. I encourage anybody living in the northwest to try District 7 Pho on Craig and rancho. You won't be disappointed. read more

I was craving for a bowl of Pho and was so busy and could not drive far, so I had to uber something closer to my home and district 7 was the only choice . I was really praying it would turn out " just okay" ...but I was extremetly dissapointed. I ordered two orders of Pho Tai with brisket and beef ball. Opened the package and open the broth container and knew the disaster is coming, it did not smell anything like PHO . The color was almost white as water and did not have the pho fragrant at all. The broth lacked any depth and complexity of what Pho broth should taste like . I warmed it up in the pot and onto my bowl.. It did not taste good no Flavor and OMG it was the worst beef ball EVER. tasted like veggies balls and not beef ball. it did not taste like beef. It was so bad. I spitted it out . I have no idea who sold them these meat balls or was it made in house but boy they were not beef balls. I will never order from this place again. The service at this small Pho restaurant was excellent. I had a bowl of combination pho, and one my daughters had a bowl of grilled pork bun and the other had grilled pork with rice. We also tried shrimp spring rolls and grilled pork spring rolls. The shrimp rolls were good but we weren't impressed with the pork rolls. The peanut sauce wasn't peanut enough (I think too much hoisin sauce). My bowl of pho was excellent, the broth so savory. My daughters both enjoyed their meals. The only complaint would be drinks coming out in paper cups. I could understand if all the utensils were throw away. I just prefer not to drink from paper cups. This review is just for the Bun Thit Nuong (Vermicelli Bowl). It was an absolute disgrace to Vietnamese cuisine. -Pork is way over cooked and not tender. -Fish sauce is flavorless. -No basil or mint. -No bean sprouts. -Literally just meat, noodles, and lettuce. -had to add my own Filipino fish sauce to get some kind of flavor. To be completely frank, this is the worst meal I've ordered in all of Vegas. I'm not trying to be mean, it just truly was THAT bad. Everything was super tasty and flavorful with very generous portions for a fair price. The servers were extremely kind and helpful. My little guy had a bit of an allergic reaction to a dish while we were there and the server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and helpful. It is very clean and bright. Solid spot for Pho! Pretty big menu and lots of ways to customize. I ordered out and my meal was packaged very well! I loved the taste of the broth and how fresh the veggies were. One thing I would note is that I didn't feel like I got enough meat, especially considering the cost. If you want yours with more/good portion of meat I would recommend adding extra, same with the lime and basil. I ordered extra limes and still only got three. I've only tried the pho here so can't really comment on the other entrees. My go-to's for pho are either meatball with rice noodles or steak and tendon with egg noodle. Tried both here and was not very pleased. The broth during the 3 times I've ordered here have been pretty bland compared to other pho places in this area so I've had to add a lot of hoisen and siracha. The egg noodles here are not the normal egg noodles at Vietnamese restaurant... they have ramen noodles, which is not really want I would like with my pho broth. The staff here is friendly and the ambiance of the place is really nice which is why I would probably come back to try the other food here and update my review then. However, when it comes to pho, I probably wouldn't order my pho here again. read more

Was in the mood for some pho for this cold weather and happily stumbled upon this place. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Pho with Rare Steak and Brisket at a Level 3 spice and the Garlic and Onion Wings. Firstly the broth was so flavorful and delicious! I've never had a spicy pho broth before and I was very pleasantly surprised. I would definitely go a level lower the next time since towards the end I had to tap out (LOL). The wings were super yummy! They were perfectly crisp and the garlicky flavor was the perfect palate cleanser for that spicy broth. My mom ordered the Pork Banh Mi and she really liked it. My step dad ordered the #30 plate which came with rice, chicken, shrimp, and an egg roll. He really enjoyed it as well. Our server was very kind and attentive and even offered us some chili paste, which went very well with the eggroll and wing, as well as the chili oil which my step dad was a huge fan of. This place is 5/5 for me! Food was amazing, we tried the pork belly banh mi sandwich which was so flavorful and delicious with fresh jalapeños, cilantro, cucumber and carrot. The pork belly with the sweet and savory sauce and the fresh vegetables AND the crispy French roll is a match made in heaven. We shared pho #15 which was rare beef and brisket pho. The broth was so flavorful and delicious and the noodles were on the softer side which I loved. The portion was huge! My boyfriend is a water technician and he could tell their water was very clean and purified. The service was great, didn't get our servers name but he was attentive and kind. The manager David was also helping out and cleaning and gave us recommendations. We came for lunch at noon and it wasn't busy at all. I'm awaiting my food and have to watch and hear you blowing your snot into paper napkins right next to me? I should have up and left at that moment ! Ewwwwwww! 1. Gross.2. Rude 3. Go to the rest room. 4. Go back to your uncleared dining table area. 4. Turn away from dining patrons! Sorry grandma... this isn't your personal space in your home! See first pic of clams in small bowl next to pepper shaker. There were 10 tiny clams in total. THIS IS A STRIP MALL restaurant. No lunch special pricing. The bowl of clams on the menu in the picture on their menu looked like a HUGE portion, overflowing with clams. ( counted 16 clams in pic expecting many more to be hidden underneath ) A meal unto itself. In fact, I knew I'd be full from the clams and spring rolls, and ordered Pho soup To-Go. $9.95 was the price for the clams . There were literally ten clams. I returned the dish. There is no way I was paying $1 per clam when I can go to Oyster Bars during happy hours and pay $1 for fresh shucked oyster! Complete rip-off. Ten baby clams in 1/2 cup broth covered in fresh parsley? It really was a joke. Then, spring rolls came out. Goi Cuon. # 2 on menu. Very pretty. Shrimp visible through the paper thin rice paper roll. There was a slice of bland looking pale baloney in it.... tasteless. Was it expired meat? Menu said it was pork. Looked like bleached baloney. The cold roll tasted fresh with all the romaine lettuce in it. The accompanying peanut sauce was delicious! The shrimp I pulled out and examined to see if Deveined. The shrimp had been cut in half! So what appeared to be a spring roll with 3 medium shrimp in each roll in fact only had 1.5 shrimp total under the top coat of rice paper. Absolutely ZERO taste to the shrimp. Bland. Boring. Zero flavor. $6.95 for 2 cold spring rolls with a total of 3 whole shrimp between the 2 rolls. Clearly a kitchen that's into cutting corners on their food portions and ingredients. Then came the Pho. I ordered the combo meat pho. There were so many unidentifiable pieces of meat in this bowl...it was scary! Now the broth and noodles were delicious. Cooked for hours, meriting the $13.95 price tag. The meats had grizzle, or were blobs of pure fat, and tendons that just did not look appetizing. The lean slices of brisket could have been spoiled for all I knew. The beef meatballs looked like pieces of bland weisswurst tossed in. Supposedly beef meatballs. I brought most of this home and tried to recook the meat hoping to have all the fat and grizzle melt off. No such luck. Threw it away. Yes, grizzle and fat add flavor, but it was like depression-era little slices of unidentifiable meat. Perhaps a chicken Pho, or vegetarian Pho would have been a safer choice. But it's will be my last pho. Mistakes were made on my final tab as well. I had such high hopes. Read such fine reviews on this new strip mall casual eatery. I'm not a Vietnamese foodie... and hoped to be. But Between grandma snotting her nose and the portion not looking anything like the menu picture, to bland -halved shrimp to gross fat and grizzle adhered to questionable meat and tendons.... And the final tab not correct, I stick with local restaurants that do have lunch specials and far better bang-for-the- buck meals in my NW community. Really disappointed. read more

Best in the North West! This pho restaurant is awesome. They are pretty new but have great pho. I'm Vietnamese myself and know what authentic pho is and they definitely cook it like my family. Other places broth is not rich in flavor and that is the key give away (I will be the first to criticize if it's bad). This restaurant did not disappoint! I ordered the Pho Combo with spring rolls. To my surprise the bowl was very large, they had more meat than noodle ratio! Usually it's the other way around so I can't complain! Definitely full after eat my appetizer and pho. Finished off with a Vietnamese Ice Coffee and felt refreshed. Their coffee isn't too bitter nor too sweet a perfectly balanced cup. If you haven't tried this spot you need to go! As the weather drops I am back on the journey of searching for a good pho. After countless times of being disappointed from pho places in spring mountain I found the spot! Stopped in and got the combination pho and this place slaps so hard. Like the broth flavor and temperature are on point! After reading some mixed reviews, I decided to order District 7 a few weeks ago via Uber Eats. I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I think that the restaurant needs some honest feedback. Here's what I ordered: Tofu Spring rolls: it was disproportionately filled with rice noodles, and the tofu slices were very thin. The only other ingredients included were the rice paper wrapper and basil - no additional vegetables. The rice noodles dominated each bite, which (unfortunately) made it unappetizing. I had to remove most of the noodles to balance it out. Oddly, it was served with the vinegar/fish sauce dressing instead of the peanut sauce (not sure if this was a mistake). Pho with Vegetables & Tofu: broth was pretty good, but it was lacking depth. I didn't like how the bok choy was overcooked (extremely soft and wilted), and carrots were undercooked. It also came with 4 pieces of thinly sliced tofu which seemed like a small amount in comparison to the size of the soup. Flan: good texture, but no flavor. I know this place has only been open for a short while, so I hope they will make the necessary changes to help improve the food quality. I'm willing to try it out again in the future and update my review if I notice a change. read more

First time trying this place. This place is very clean. The co-owner is very nice and talkative. We were told the broth is made by beef bones and bone marrow, but not too oily, which is what I like.
