The food: Started out with meatball appetizers with pesto and red sauce, which came with parm toasts on the side( yeah, such good toast!) I'm super picky about meatballs, but man, these were really tasty. I love it when food isn't salty and they did not disappoint. I did find the Red Ssuce to be slightly sweet, which we're not crazy about, but this sauce was actually OK. It did not have too much sugar in it. I just wish they wouldn't add any sweetness to the tomato sauce at all. But, yeah, it was good. My friend had the burger, which was stacked and sooo juicy & tasty! As I mentioned, I had the braised short ribs with gnocchi. Excellent! Those short ribs were yummy! Both Kelly, our server, and Leidy checked on everyone's table. And then, the owner, Julian, came out. He was so cool! Nice guy! For dessert, shared a nice, warm bread pudding with vanilla ice cream on the side. I loved it because it wasn't overly sweet...perfect! ( I had to bring the rest home because I was stuffed) All in all, it was a great experience, nice hang, food was exceptional, service was great, so we'll probably be regulars from now on. The female bartender immediately came by to assist us and was a complete sweetheart. We started by ordering drinks, and I went with a Bloody Mary, which I had seen my neighboring bar patron order, though it was not on their beverage list. I was worried that the juicy mixer might not be that great if they were not promoting it, but, boy, was it excellent! The Bloody Mary mix was packed with fresh horseradish and pepper, giving it the real kick I yearned for. In terms of the food, I opted for a Three Egg Omelet, but using egg whites. I was able to choose 3 fillings and selected tomatoes, mushrooms, and red peppers. First off, the eggs were cooked perfectly; they were not runny at all and had just the slightest hint of a golden brown color. They were served with tasty breakfast potatoes that were cooked with sauteed onions, red peppers, and scallions, which were a wise inclusion. While I typically try not to finish all of my fried breakfast potatoes, these were too good to leave any behind! The meal also included my choice of toast, so I went with whole wheat, which was fine, but standard. My friend ordered the Steak Taco and Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizers as her main and was happy with both. They also had a fried rice with lentils and broccoli. It was very healthy and I didn't sense the fried in the rice. Today we went there and I had a Santa Fe salad with extra tofu and it was very good. The prices are fair and the desserts are amazing. The manager and everyone from the whole staff are amazing and ask for Alex and he will hook you up with fantastic service. I am looking forward coming here for a comedy show as I bet. While this isn't marketed as fine dining, Kyle delivered a level of service that absolutely was. His attention to detail, professionalism, and cleanliness were second to none. After every course, he didn't simply clear plates... he thoroughly cleaned and reset the table with a level of care and precision that I honestly haven't seen from a server in a very long time, anywhere. Every detail was handled seamlessly, making each course feel like a fresh dining experience. Kyle elevated an already fantastic meal into a truly memorable one. Restaurants can teach the mechanics of service, but genuine hospitality and pride in your work are much harder to find. Kyle clearly has both. The kitchen deserves compliments for an excellent meal, but Kyle deserves recognition for providing some of the best service I've experienced in years.
