A small strip mall pizza joint with seating for about 15 people. Had the wings, a small and a medium pizza. Food was good, but the menu is a bit pricey as it cost me over $40 for that order. The wings were done the way I like them semi-crispy with lots of buffalo sauce and I didn't even specify them to be done any certain way. I was trying to avoid posting publicly, but I can't find the manager information and the guy on the phone was less than helpful. Ordinarily, I love this place. But I have had a few bad experiences. I called to report on my DoorDash order today, with 2 complaints. I had ordered 2 pizzas, and there was something wrong with each. One was a specialty (and therefore more expensive), but they gave me the wrong pizza entirely. The other pizza was correct, but had a hair baked into it. The person who answered the phone said that the incorrect pizza was a DoorDash issue and he would get someone for me to talk to about the hair. No one ever came to the phone, so I called back and got the same guy, who told me "there's nothing else we can do for you." I don't actually think it was a DoorDash problem at all. The receipt tucked in the boxes was correct, so it looks to me like Divano's just made the wrong pizza. And I know that it wasn't my hat-wearing, bald-headed (or super short cut) DoorDasher who baked his hair into my pizza. I'd hate to have to be done with this place, but hair in the food is gross and the customer service I received was awful and they made no effort to resolve the problems. read more

We just switched to satisfying our Italian Food Delivery cravings to Divano's Pizzeria, after 3 Olives went downhill. Divano's was the right answer! The pizza always comes Hot and Fresh, with a reasonable delivery time. The small side Salad is enough to share! The Hot Buffalo Wings are SO GOOD, they are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We also ordered their Lasagne and Spaghetti & Meatballs which were AMAZING! We always have leftovers too. This is our new place to order from, so far so great! read more

Just the other day I stopped by divanos to see if they do pizza by the slice. I walked in and saw an old friend from one of my favorite pizza shops in the area. Suddenly, a decent pizza joint became my awesome pizza home. The best pizza maker in the area just took over, and only 3 or 4 miles from my house! What an epiphany! So check this out, you've got to go to divanos. If you've been there before that doesn't mean you know what their Pizza tastes like today. It is delicious! They have Sicilian, New York style, garlic knots Etc. I'm as ecstatic as Mike Tyson! Trust me when I say Garner 40/42 just became little New York. Go there! I ordered the baked Ziti. It was okay, there wasn't a whole lot of flavor to the food. I used Grubhub as the delivery service, and the food was a little late but that isn't Divano's fault. The garlic knots were pretty good. Salad is a standard iceberg lettuce with a little tomato and olives. Wasn't horrible but it wasn't fantastic either. read more

My order was supposed to be delivered at 1PM. I ended up having to call at 1:45PM because it still wasn't delivered. My food ended up being delivered at 2:10PM and I was charged full price. My e-mail receipt on the website and e-mail both said delivery (and there was a $1.50 delivery fee) but apparently somebody wrote it down as pickup. So 70 minutes late and I was still charged full price. No apology and I got hung up on while I was trying to ask a question so I had to call back a second time. read more

It is a mixed bag for me. Probably should have ordered a calzone or some pizza. I had a hoagie sub, unfortunately, the bread was soggy and substandard. The kind you would get at Walmart, soft and not at all like an Italian roll. The sandwich itself was fine. The french fries were absolutely perfectly done, I ordered them crispy and brown ed and they were both. Really very good, enough for at least two servings, even though I ate them all they were that good. I got a piece of cheese cake and it was good, not outstanding, but good. The cannoli had too much filling and reminded me of cake frosting. I think I will probably try them again, and stick with pizzas and french fries, I know an odd combination. read more

It was my daughter's birthday so I decided to order pizza from Divanos (bad idea). First I call to order, the person on the phone could not get my order correct and so I told her I would just order online, I ordered 4 pizzas and the total was $71.40. I wait an hour than come to pickup with more than enough time to make my daughter's party at 1pm. I get to the register and she hands me two pizzas, I tell her i should have 2 more pizzas she says "well this is what you ordered" I say no please check, so she checks the computer and sees that I did indeed order 4 pizzas, she says "if you like we can make the other 2 pizzas but it will be another 20 minutes" at this point I want to cancel the whole order and go to Dominos, I ask will I receive a discount she says " i am not charging you for the pizzas" so I agreed to wait. While I wait she comes to me and informs me she has called the manager and they are checking with "the higher ups" to see what discount I can receive. After 20 minutes my order is finally ready around 1:05, she then tells me "your total is $84, yes so instead of a discount she try's to overcharge me . I told her that when I placed my order online the total was $71.40 and I refuse to pay more, she says well that's what the total is, after I refuse she calls a "manager" and another 10 minutes pass and she finally gets the order right and it comes to $69, so I guess my discount was about $2.50, what a joke. Whoever made that call to discount $2.50 you could have kept that, this is not how you do business at the very least a 10% discount would have sufficed for my inconvenience, I was late for my daughters party needless to say. I don't blame the girl because as she said "I'm new" but I do blame the manager that would not go out of their way to make a customer happy. Poor management i doubt I will be back. read more

What a pleasant surprise.......after going to Divinos a year ago and vowing to never return....I saw the sign that said "Under New Management". I decided to stop in. Thin, greasy, overcooked pizza. Took about an hour for delivery and was barely luke warm. Hardly any sauce and was $38 for 1 large 1/2 pepperoni and 1 medium pineapple pizza. My nephew was spot on when he said we would have been better off with frozen pizzas from the grocery store. Would have been faster, cheaper and tasted a lot better. read more

We aren't from Garner, and just wanted a decent pizza for dinner. Divano's is wonderful! The pizza is great--the crust is just the right amount of crispiness. We also got an eggplant parmesan sub and a cannoli, both were delicious! The staff is sweet and friendly, and our food was ready right when they said. So glad we chose this place! read more

We have eaten here twice and it has been fantastic both times. Pizza was out quickly and cooked perfectly. We also had a large side salad. It's huge and plenty for 2 people to share. The ranch dressing is really good as well. We will definitely be back. read more

While Divano's has great pizza (love the dough they use - very fresh!) they have even better customer service. Not only did they offer to bring the pizza out to us while my husband and I were walking around, they went above and beyond when my 26 week pregnant self thought I could walk and talk with a pizza box in my hands and dropped the box on the asphalt. Camelle (spelling), a Davino's employee. saw the entire embarrassing thing as he was just walking back from meeting us with the pizza and he had another fresh pizza made for us. Ordered the sheet which is a large Sicilian pizza. It tasted like it was soaked in bad tap water. The delivery guy was polite, but he said they dont send him out with any money to make change. I would not recommend this place till they hire a better cook. read more

Stopped here for lunch today. Got a 6" eggplant parm sandwich. With a water it was $9.89. When they brought the sandwich all I could think in ny head was the old Wendy's line " Where's the Beef?" Pizza is good. Ordering the pizza however is a nightmare. I don't know what the issue is. Either the kid answering the phone is slow or we have a bad connection but it's EVERY TIME. Makes me say my phone number and then says he didn't have his phone. Then why did I say my number if you weren't planning on listening? Very frustrating. read more

We had an amazing authentic Italian dinner at Divano's Pizzeria! I have lived in the South for 25 years and have never had better pizza. The staff was very friendly and the Antipasto Salad was great too! Can't wait to drive through this area again. We frequent Figure Eight Island so we will be back! read more

Our pizza was delicious, but sadly it was not hot. Our delivery driver got lost, so it took about an hour and 15 mins to get it here, but hey people get lost, it happens. That said, I ate this pizza stone cold with a smile on my face, it's that good! The BBQ wings on the other hand were burnt and inedible, so I cannot recommend trying those. All in all, the pizza is worth another chance so I will likely order from here again and skip the wings. read more

Unremarkable. Pricey! Snail-like delivery service 90+ minutes for a small order. Hot items arrived lukewarm, pizza crust was petrified at the edges. We couldn't even see and could barely taste the sausage that was, allegedly, one of the toppings. Never seen a place that put such small portions of toppings. Only one word can describe the pizza and customer services provided: Horrific. After calling and asking to speak with the person in charge I was informed he was not there. After explaining that the pizza that my family bought was absolutely terrible I was told to bring it back and they would take care of it and get me something else in return. Upon returning I was met with the owner (who I was told was not there tonight) and explained to him that the pepperonis on the pizza that we ordered were not good. I was handed back only a portion of the money that was spent on this pizza as well as the owner telling me maybe it was best if my business was taken elsewhere. I cannot stress enough at how poorly the food and service at Divano's pizzeria at 40/42 is. I would not recommend anyone that I know to eat at this establishment and as instructed will take my business elsewhere for better pizza and better customer service. read more
