Gluten free heaven! Service is so friendly. It's a quiet place on Saturday at 3pm. Gluten free and dairy free food on the menu! I will come back to get a grilled cheese! A variety of board games available.

75 mile drive from my house one way and completely worth it! The bartender was super friendly. Chatted with another couple that were visiting from out of town too, seemed as though we all enjoyed the vibe, beer and food. The absolute best onion rings I have ever had. The chicken strips were also crispy and tasty. I failed to get a photo of the glazed donut, but it did not taste gluten free at all. Normal donut taste and texture! They had a variety of beer and sodas. I will definitely be back!!

Service was great. Beertender took care of us. Answered all our questions. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was great! The pierogis were good as well as the bloomin' onion. Lower part of the onion was a tad undercooked and we didn't necessarily care for the sauce for the pierogis. The ambiance was soooo nice. Loved the music, the lighting, the atmosphere. We played connect 4 while eating and enjoying our food and beer. 4 out of the 8 beers we tasted were great! Overall we really enjoyed our time.

Can't say enough good things about Divine Science. Drinks are good, food is great, service is friendly and vibes are fantastic. We spent nearly 3 hours here on Father's Day evening, my elderly father in law, my husband (who has celiac), and our two kids, 5 and 7. Everyone had a great time! We ate calzones, pretzels, fish and chips, paninis, and donuts; drank beers and seltzers, and played games. Can't wait to return next week for the three course dinner with beer pairing, date night!

Wow....it takes effort to be this bad. The ambience would best be described as walking into a grown man's mother's basement, uninvited. First time here and we stood around wondering who worked here, can we sit anywhere? How's this work? My friend is gluten free and I was game to try this place with her. The "bartender" seemed annoyed from the get-go. We pre ordered the chicken katsu, which wasn't bad. But when we asked for a spoon or some type of silverware to get the coleslaw he looked stupefied...until after minutes of explaining why, I had to ask if we're supposed to scoop it out with our hands?! They were out of ice, out of sauce, out the dish to put sauce in, out of 2 of the 3 items listed on the sign. The beer? Well, the "bartender" wasted more trying to pour it than we got in our 6 sampler. Only one was drinkable. Although he did replace one randomly saying "yeah, there's a bug in it"..... In short, no one wants to go spend money at a business where they're treated as an annoyance, and not a paying customer. Oh, and they won't tell you that they charge you to pay by card...until you pay by card. Hardly divine.

Stopped here mid-weekish. Bartender was really nice to welcome us and introduce the various brews. The main grain brewed with here is millet, which is how they produce gluten free beer. I had never heard of gluten free beer before so when I saw that I had to give it a try. Was nice to learn a little more about how this happens. It is a little dark and cozy inside, which projects into the beverages. Where many breweries are going airy and bright, this brewery is forging its own path. It makes the place feel small and intimate, keeps the mood personal. They have a sample limit of 2 brews, but luckily I got to try 3 and found something on the 3rd (the samples are just enough to wet the tongue and it limits the ability to commit to one. Folks in the area who want the gluten free options are lucky to have this place with these on tap. For the most part the millet imparts a deeper flavor profile than wheat based beers, it seems is a heavier/flatter profile on the palette despite the carbonated aspect of the beer. I went for the "Blanca Nieves White" which drank like a 90s Pale Ale. One of the samples was a very dark ale "La Moreno" this was a bit overwhelming for me and if you like deep malted beers this might be your thing; as I tried it I wondered if it might be nicer carbonated on Nitrogen? Didn't lean in to another after trying the first, but left feeling like I cheated my fat storage system and not satisfied like traditional beer. This brew may take a few to get used to for traditional beer heads. One thing that needs to improve is the smell of mold as you approach the entrance. It is heavy and almost caused a turnaround before going in.

It's a gluten free beer place. People who come here either have a gluten allergy or find this place as a closest bar in the area. I think it's a good place to hang out after work with decently priced beers. I appreciate the table top games and the TV seems to always be showing something interesting. The place is spacious, clean, and in a quiet spot, so it's easy to have a good time.

Divine science brewing is my FAV place! As someone with celiac disease I can no longer have regular beer but I CAN here! They have delicious pop up food all gluten free! Everyone is so nice and chill and you can tell the owners really love their gluten free bar community! The vibes are magical and chill! Love spending nights here with friends and family! Can't wait till my next visit :D

The gluten free food is some of the best bar bites I've ever had! I particularly enjoyed the soft pretzel and onion rings, which tasted as good as the gluten ones that I've missed for years. The Belgium beer is also highly recommended, and my fiancé enjoyed the IPA. Service was also personable and quick.

I won't review the beer. It's the only gluten free brewery for 300+ miles. The location is fine, but I don't think it lives up to modern expectations for a taproom. - Inconsistent hours. - No growler fills. - No outdoor seating, not even a picnic table. read more

Good vibe. Friendly attentive owners. Much passion behind the product....and the product is very good. I tried all of them and then they told me they rotate in more throughout the year. The 8 I sampled were very good. Surprisingly I enjoyed the IPA and the Stout, both I don't drink. They even have a seltzer which was good. I'm don't have an issue with gluten but I can imagine how great this place is so they can enjoy craft beer without all the health issues associated with gluten. read more

Absolutely wonderful micro-brewery! Personally not a gluten-free persons but wanted to try this place out with my wife while visiting Disneyland. Tried their flight and they had several delicious IPA's, my favorite was the 3rd Contact. They also had a solid stout I ended up ordering more of. In terms of food it's a small place with only a few options but I had the panani and a pretzel and both were very good. The young man serving us was extremely polite and contributed to the overall relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Will come here again! read more

Just went gluten free 3 months ago, and ended up here just by chance! Their chocolately porter was so good (the name escapes me), and their soft pretzel is a gluten-free dream! My husband (who is not gluten free) had their Honey Belgian, and really enjoyed it! We had a great time playing board games in this cute space. Will be taking every gluten-free friend I have there! read more

Really unfortunate. Live nearby and have driven by many times. Was super excited to see a new local brewery. Finally had a moment to quickly stop in and grab some beers to go. Unfortunately the staff failed to mention these are gluten-free beers. I still would've bought them most likely, just to try. But there was an extra level of disappointment when I cracked one open expecting a high quality craft beer. Objectively: the beer is terrible. Has something to do with the gluten-free aspect, but I've also had many passable gluten free beers. This is not one of them. The hazy IPA is honestly one of the worst beers I've ever had. Last but not least way overpriced. Steer clear if you're a beer lover. read more

We are on their mailing list and ordered brisket sandwiches. I ended up picking them up to go because we had so much going on that day. The sandwiches were very tasty, albeit expensive. Cute place! What a wonderful place! Can you believe this place has gluten free beer AND food?! My girlfriend and I couldn't believe it either! We came to watch the dodgers vs Mets NLCS playoff game #1 and were pleasantly surprised at the flexibility of the owner to change the TVs for us. My daughter loves this place. She's totally gluten free and has been raving about their beers, and the delicious goodies they homemake and offer for sale occasionally to patrons. She's brought some beers home (they sell them at BevMo) too. I enjoyed what she brought home, but trying the beers fresh on draft in this cute little brewery is even better. The beer was just okay. Nothing stood out and they all fell below average. The ambiance was tired and tried--used and unmatched this and that placed here and there. Came in an hour and a half before the business closed. Visiting from out of state and was excited to try a new gluten free experience, bartender brushed us off and said she wanted to go home early. Can't say how the food was because we were unfortunately turned away. As someone that works in the service industry, I'm pretty upset about this experience. read more

I've been coming here since the soft open. They have some incredible gluten free beer. I can't recommend them enough. They have new beers that come out monthly and several limited releases. The owners are super friendly and you can get lost in conversations very easily. The owners are celiac and take pride in what they make, whether it is the beer or the pastries that you can get with them. Give it a chance and you'll want to come back for more. read more

This is such a little hidden treasure in Tustin! Their gluten free beers are one of a kind and their wonderful beertender Sadie helped me find my favorite one. You have to try their IPA, it's complex yet subtle for a bold beer! There were some fun games to play too; giant Uno is unrivaled and so am I. I can't wait to see what they have in store for Oktober! What a cool find! The beer here was so good!! The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and informative! I had such a great time and will be back! Haven't had the pleasure of stopping by here yet but I can say, as an award-winning home brewer recently diagnosed with a gluten allergy, the Third Contact IPA is straight-up sorcery. No fully gluten-free beer has the right to taste this good. This beer has single-handedly helped me to survive this major life shift. The Pilsner is great too! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Their customer service was TERRIBLE and I would not recommend this place to anyone. My friend told me about their horrible experience, so I wanted to see if it was true. It was. We waited more than 15 minutes to get helped, were NOT greeted or welcomed, and we left as no one helped us or even acknowledged us. And, they apparently are very snarky on yelp. Do NOT come to this place as they do not know what good customer service is. read more

Some of the BEST GF beers being made are right here! Particularly the STOUT. We need to lobby them to make more of it. My only issue is the lack of me having access to it. Anyone saying they taste different/worse than non GF beer, well I don't buy it one bit. The blonde is great too. I'd love to see an offering like a browne ale, for those of us that aren't gaga over IPAs in general. read more

After our party of six chatted over cocktails and preyed on pupus, we moved to a "secret" room tucked in the back of Stowaway and walked into a Belly Of The Beast. The founders and co-owners of Stowaway, Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, created this extension to the tiki bar with a wildly interesting Pinocchio theme and the famed encounter with Monstro the whale all the while serving the same offerings in Stowaway but with also an exclusive limited menu just for this adventure. With its proximity to Disneyland and its Enchanted Tiki Room, with the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture they found a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, tropical trimmings, and nostalgic know-how. How would my belly handle the beastly drinks concocted here!? PURCHASE(S) Gepetto's Last Words ($16.00): Intrigued by the cocktail's name, this elixir was crafted with Fid Street Gin, tangerine, creme de violette, lemon, and cucumber, it was a citrusy refreshing sweet drink that was decorated with bright yellow petals. It was nice, but for whatever reason it just didn't quite hit the spot. [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($9.00): A decent portion with rings of medium to large sizes, these were hot, dark golden browned, crunchy, and had a slight tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (sweet Maui!) rarely pulled out at times. They were lightly oily while the catsup wasn't needed but used. SERVICE While in Stowaway, we informed our male server to let us know when we were allowed to enter the belly. Once inside and situated, we had the place and bartender to ourselves. After we all perused the menu, we placed our orders, and everything arrived within ten minutes. The rest of the time was spent chatting, picture taking, and our bartender checked in on us also giving a Dole Whip taster. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE "Hidden" inside Stowaway which was located within a strip mall, the entire theme was based on the Pinocchio story, the interlude in time spent inside Monstro, and as we entered it felt like the beginning of the Disneyland "Storybook" ride as you road a canal boat into the mouth and sharp teet of a whale. There were several marionettes (appropriate and non-appropriate) that hung from the ceiling and belly walls, along with other Disneyesque memorabilia, a few sitting booths, and a tiny bar at the end of the roo. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights and table candles glowed. There were no TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL Belly Of The Beast was an adventurous fun evening with friends, it left me feeling childlike with the need to watch "Pinocchio", and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I generally loved all-things Disneyana, and this new wrinkle, albeit probably not approved by the mouse ears brass, caught my fancy. My one drink was tasty but just didn't hit the right spot, the onion rings were very good, the prices were a tad elevated, the atmosphere was awesome, and the service was friendly and professional. They had an extremely limited menu, and there was some doubt whether or not ordering from the Stowaway menu was an option. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $27.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

The bartending staff at Chaak always treats customers like family, but unfortunately, they close early, so my sister and I would often end up at The Swinging Door afterward. This past Friday night, the bar was not busy, yet Jacqueline, the bartender, repeatedly ignored us. After our first drinks, we tried to order a second round and flagged her down several times, but she showed no interest in helping us. Her behavior came across as dismissive, rude, and completely uncalled for. I had not been back to The Swinging Door in a long time because of a similar experience, but I previously chalked it up to the bar being busy that night. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that poor customer service continues to be an issue. No one goes to a bar on a Friday night expecting to be ignored or treated poorly by the bartender. Lesson learned. I sincerely hope management retrains its bartending staff and reminds them that being attentive and kind to customers is a basic part of the job.

The decor is always cute and the staff are always friendly. Finally a Gluten free Brewery!!!! It's amazing being able to order any beer I want right from the draft line up. As someone who's allergic to gluten this place makes me want to cry because I feel so good when I'm here. It's a must try brewery for everyone. No gluten means less of a hangover-at least that's what my friends who are not allergic to gluten say. Come take a trip to Tustin and you will enjoy yourself. Feel free to bring food- there's pretzels and pie but when I stay for longer visits bringing my own food helps me drink more. read more

First visit was awesome. Robert and Dominque were perfect hosts for a relaxing evening enjoying the best gluten free beers ever. Already a huge fan of divine science beers and now super stoked there is a local spot in my hometown to get a taste and preview of their special brews. It is hard to overstate how important this business is. In a country where gluten free beer has effectively ceased to exist in favor of hard seltzers, Divine Science has kept the faith for those of us who love beer and medically cannot have gluten. I do have to say that the wait may be long so keep that in mind. You will be able to try different seltzers if you aren't certain (but please be quick!). Usually they help one or two people at a time depending on who is at the bar so the queue may get long if everyone is trying them out. Tip: just order it, a lot of the drinks are good and easy to drink

Building is colorfully painted on the outside so you can't miss it and the inside is decked out in a cool disco / 80's theme. Back then, it was always bustling with students during the day and packed during sports games in the evening. The stoner tots were always a must-order. They have a lot of good craft beers on tap. I've shared countless of pitchers of IPA or cider throughout my visits. It's definitely changed drastically since the pandemic. The atmosphere is lacking. Not packed at all. Hours are a little weird. In the past 2 years, each time I've visited, it's been emptier and emptier. There will only be 2 groups there besides my own. And I feel like I have to call every time I want to stop by because I'm not sure if it's open. Prices for pints and food are up (pints are a better deal always unless it's happy hour). The revamped food menu doesn't seem appealing either. The new staff isn't as friendly (maybe they don't employ students anymore?) There was a lady whose attitude was a bit condescending and off-putting. I'll still pop in whenever I'm on campus for nostalgic reasons, but it's not the same anymore.

Also I see lots of glassware being bussed from the tables but we always get our beers in plastic cups? So I guess you should show up maybe two to three hours before they close so you can get your beer in a glass and in a timely manner.
