Sad that Taps is no longer around, I was looking for a brewery in the area and randomly found this one. Found out all of their beers are gluten free. I don't have a gluten allergy, but have enjoyed rice lagers and other gluten free options in the past. So we came here to try it, mostly out of curiosity and location. Came in and saw a few beers that sounded interesting, but wasn't sure what would fit my taste buds. Asked for a taster of 2 different beers and was told that they don't do tasters, they have to charge me for a sampler. That's fine. Tried the first beer, didn't really like it. Decided to go for the second beer and just got a pint so I wasn't buying samplers all night. My wife was frustrated that they didn't have any seltzer or cider options, so she was trying to pick between 2 beers as well. The bartender tried to describe the difference, but they both sounded kinda the same. Wife picked one. We closed out for round 1 and were shocked with a bill of $28 for effectively 2 beers. Oh, so that's why there's no prices on the board. We grudgingly drank our beers and left right after. Had the beers been good, the samplers been free (so we could ensure we got a beer we were happy with), or the prices been posted so we weren't hit with sticker shock, we likely would have stayed for 2 or 3 rounds. Needless to say, we will NOT be back. read more

I won't review the beer. It's the only gluten free brewery for 300+ miles. The location is fine, but I don't think it lives up to modern expectations for a taproom. - Inconsistent hours. - No growler fills. - No outdoor seating, not even a picnic table. read more

Absolutely wonderful micro-brewery! Personally not a gluten-free persons but wanted to try this place out with my wife while visiting Disneyland. Tried their flight and they had several delicious IPA's, my favorite was the 3rd Contact. They also had a solid stout I ended up ordering more of. In terms of food it's a small place with only a few options but I had the panani and a pretzel and both were very good. The young man serving us was extremely polite and contributed to the overall relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Will come here again! read more

Good vibe. Friendly attentive owners. Much passion behind the product....and the product is very good. I tried all of them and then they told me they rotate in more throughout the year. The 8 I sampled were very good. Surprisingly I enjoyed the IPA and the Stout, both I don't drink. They even have a seltzer which was good. I'm don't have an issue with gluten but I can imagine how great this place is so they can enjoy craft beer without all the health issues associated with gluten. read more

What a wonderful place! Can you believe this place has gluten free beer AND food?! My girlfriend and I couldn't believe it either! We came to watch the dodgers vs Mets NLCS playoff game #1 and were pleasantly surprised at the flexibility of the owner to change the TVs for us. Luckily, everyone was having a ball watching the game! The owner was super friendly, the beer was amazing, food was great, and the community reels you in. We will DEFINITELY be back! read more

Just went gluten free 3 months ago, and ended up here just by chance! Their chocolately porter was so good (the name escapes me), and their soft pretzel is a gluten-free dream! My husband (who is not gluten free) had their Honey Belgian, and really enjoyed it! We had a great time playing board games in this cute space. We are on their mailing list and ordered brisket sandwiches. I ended up picking them up to go because we had so much going on that day. The sandwiches were very tasty, albeit expensive. Cute place! Really unfortunate. Live nearby and have driven by many times. Was super excited to see a new local brewery. Finally had a moment to quickly stop in and grab some beers to go. Unfortunately the staff failed to mention these are gluten-free beers. I still would've bought them most likely, just to try. But there was an extra level of disappointment when I cracked one open expecting a high quality craft beer. Objectively: the beer is terrible. Has something to do with the gluten-free aspect, but I've also had many passable gluten free beers. This is not one of them. The hazy IPA is honestly one of the worst beers I've ever had. My daughter loves this place. She's totally gluten free and has been raving about their beers, and the delicious goodies they homemake and offer for sale occasionally to patrons. She's brought some beers home (they sell them at BevMo) too. I enjoyed what she brought home, but trying the beers fresh on draft in this cute little brewery is even better. The beer was just okay. Nothing stood out and they all fell below average. The ambiance was tired and tried--used and unmatched this and that placed here and there. There was little thought put into making this an excellent space. On the positive side, there are communal boats games to play and the server was friendly. read more

Came in an hour and a half before the business closed. Visiting from out of state and was excited to try a new gluten free experience, bartender brushed us off and said she wanted to go home early. Can't say how the food was because we were unfortunately turned away. As someone that works in the service industry, I'm pretty upset about this experience. read more

I've been coming here since the soft open. They have some incredible gluten free beer. I can't recommend them enough. They have new beers that come out monthly and several limited releases. The owners are super friendly and you can get lost in conversations very easily. The owners are celiac and take pride in what they make, whether it is the beer or the pastries that you can get with them. Give it a chance and you'll want to come back for more. read more

This is such a little hidden treasure in Tustin! Their gluten free beers are one of a kind and their wonderful beertender Sadie helped me find my favorite one. Haven't had the pleasure of stopping by here yet but I can say, as an award-winning home brewer recently diagnosed with a gluten allergy, the Third Contact IPA is straight-up sorcery. No fully gluten-free beer has the right to taste this good. This beer has single-handedly helped me to survive this major life shift. The Pilsner is great too! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Their customer service was TERRIBLE and I would not recommend this place to anyone. My friend told me about their horrible experience, so I wanted to see if it was true. It was. We waited more than 15 minutes to get helped, were NOT greeted or welcomed, and we left as no one helped us or even acknowledged us. And, they apparently are very snarky on yelp. Some of the BEST GF beers being made are right here! Particularly the STOUT. We need to lobby them to make more of it. My only issue is the lack of me having access to it. Anyone saying they taste different/worse than non GF beer, well I don't buy it one bit. The blonde is great too. I'd love to see an offering like a browne ale, for those of us that aren't gaga over IPAs in general. read more
