We recently bought a two story house, and decided to have new floors. My significant other checked reviews of multiple companies on Yelp and decided to contact Jake. The first time when we met Jake was when he came to the house to do measurements for an estimate (to demolish the existing entry areas and put new flooring throughout the house). While he was doing measurements, we asked multiple questions. He answered all our questions in very positive and confident note. So by the time he was leaving, we felt like we wanted to use his service, even though we were still waiting for the estimates from the other companies. When we obtained the estimates from Jake and the other companies, Jake made it work,so we were excited to work with his company. (By the way, we loved his estimates. I originally had carpet and white tile in my home...and needless to say it needed a major makeover. I checked a few different companies out, even hired a different company...but ultimately decided (and ate the deposit from the other plant) on Divinity because they had done a few of my friends homes and I liked knowing they did good work. Jack and Jake did not let me down. They came, fit me into their busy schedule, and did my entire downstairs in 3 days....it probably would've been less had they not had to deal with the crappy installation from my previous floors...they had a lot of work just cleaning that up so they had a nice surface to use to refloor my home. Once the prep was done, they did my floors EXTREMELY quick...and they did it very well. Their crew was super professional, and they were very thorough. I ended up having an issue with some of my planks due to them being near a window with sunlight hitting them constantly, and Jack & Jake came out same day I called and were able to fix it for me. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was also getting my yard done at the same time..and last minute decided to have Divinity do my outside tile, which again, was done really quickly, but flawlessly...they suggested I change up the colors I originally picked because they said it wouldn't match well, and i went with their color choice..and I'm VERY glad i listened...I could NOT BE HAPPIER. Due to time constraints and other interior home projects, the original batch of travertine (bought in 2018) was no longer available in the size we needed, and we found the same color and pattern- Cordoba Cream Versailles x 1/2 Honed at Strictly Stones in Anaheim, and were grateful that it matched very well. However, the stones came in 4 different sizes and were not the same size of the original travertine bought at Floor & Decor. Upon searching for a stone and tile installer, we came upon Divinity Flooring Services. Jake showed up exactly on time, and after meeting him, we felt fairly confident that Divinity was the way to go, and we hired his company. Initially, we were dismayed that the batches of travertine had 5 different sizes to work with, and at a loss how to arrange them. But Jake, being the professional (and has a good eye for this stuff), knew how to make the sizes flow in a cohesive, gorgeous pattern. He showed Gerado and Manuel (the stone and tile pro installers) his ideas, and we all loved it! Gerado and Manuel not only showed up on time, but worked extremely hard to get the job done on time. They were courteous and cleaned up any messes daily. Plus, they treated our home with respect, and were careful not to accidentally break the travertine - which can be a very fragile stone. I worked with Jake and his team to replace carpet with LVP flooring on my first and third floors (including 2 sets of stairs), and I couldn't be happier with the level of service, professionalism, and the exceptional installation job they did. I can't say enough about divinity flooring. This company is da bomb! I had a water pipe leak that soaked my downstairs . The restoration company that came out immediately to "help" with the water dry out and rebuilding of my place became a complete nightmare. First, Yelp's 5-Star rating system does not do justice to Divinity Flooring and Building Services. They deserve a 10 out of 10 rating and beyond. My research led me to DFS, and after reading all the reviews and viewing all the photos, I had my son review them as well. He went a step further and researched them on Instagram. We decided they were the ones to reach out to. Jake responded very quickly, and we met with him the next day. Jake was personable, professional, had vast experience and knowledge, and we could tell he took considerable pride in his company, his work and cared deeply for his customers. We presented our projects, which included a complete kitchen remodel in our current home; a full remodel of a home we were in escrow with, and then a second phase remodel in our original home, to prepare for renters. Jake was confident he could complete the projects in a timely manner. Luckily, we did not have a set date, but we were hoping for January 1, 2023. This meeting was held in mid-October. Within a few weeks, Jake responded with a rendering of the kitchen and estimate; both were exceptional and reasonable. Jake stated that his rendering would be 98 percent accurate to what the outcome would be. Honestly, both projects were 100 percent accurate after final revisions were made. We met Jake at the new home on November 9th and performed an extensive walk-through of what we desired. This was a complete removal of the old and replacement with all new wood and tile flooring, lighting, electrical fixtures, plumbing, paint, and installation of all new kitchen appliances. This was quite an undertaking for all of us, but with Jake and Jack's vast experience, strong work ethic, pride in their work, and patience; this journey was quite a learning experience. I thank both gentlemen for the guidance they provided along the way. With projects this large, there were many unexpected issues that occurred at both properties, and the extensive rain that occurred this winter, presented other challenges along the way. They both provided suggestions and solutions and kept the projects moving. The communication between Jake, Jack and their entire crew was phenomenal. They were quick to respond by text, phone, and when needed, on site visits. Luckily, the two properties were seven minutes apart. The kitchen demolition started on November 14 and the project was completed before Thanksgiving, then it was off the new home. The new house was ready to move in by February 10th, we moved in on February 16 and 17th, and the second phase of our original home was completed by the end of March, and our renters moved in on April 1, 2023. We did not pressure DFS for a short timeline, because there were many obstacles to deal with and they were determined to give us an exceptional product; which they did. This project could not have been completed without the exceptional knowledge, skills, communication between Jake, Jack, and their crew. These men were equally, personable, courteous, thoughtful, and you could tell they enjoyed working for them and were a happy group. It's kind of nuts to see a contractor with 5.0 stars on Yelp, but they just finished giving us new flooring, and I can see why. It comes down to price and speed. Price They came in far below their competitors on the bidding process for the job, and they stuck to the bid even when there was a complication, like having to cut a groove in the drywall to hide some unexpected wires. For materials, Jake worked hard at getting us the best deal on baseboards (from Advantage Moulding) and flooring (we ended up using Cali Bamboo). Speed They showed up right when they said they would and worked all day for three days to move the furniture, demo the tile, lay luxury vinyl plank, and install all the baseboards. We're happy with the quality too! Our condo looks a lot more modern now, and, aside from how messy our condo is, our results look like all the other pictures people have posted on Yelp of their immaculate floor. Just a heads up: they don't do anything with carpet, but Jake recommended a carpet guy to add transition molding to clean up the places where our carpet meets the new floor. read more

First, don't let the name fool you - Divinity Flooring offers a lot more than just flooring, which was a huge plus for me. I was dreading tracking down multiple contractors for various jobs and the fact that Jack and Jake took on every task and curveball made the project seamless. While I would have loved to do the floors and kitchen, I had to choose just one based on my budget; Jake suggested I go with the flooring because it would have the biggest impact, and he was 10000% correct. I'm beyond happy with the results of my project! I just wish I did this years ago!
