I enjoyed everything I tried. The sausage sandwich was very hearty and delicious, and the chocolate and cinnamon old fashioned donuts were good too. The hazelnut frappe with Nutella was a pleasant surprise too. The meal was definitely worth it! read more

Yum! I had a carrot cake donut and was so satisfied. The donut was more on the cakey side which is my preference and had a ton of cream cheese frosting on it that was a perfect complement. The flavor was bold and it was overall a delicious experience. read more

Tried to order on the app like normal, but the app is no longer working. Couldn't log in on website to order, no email received, phone option didn't work. So had to go down to wait in line to order, then wait another 10m for my order. Back up to office and found it was the wrong sandwich. Not good today. read more

I ordered their orange olive oil donut (also vegan which was a surprise!) to go and it was so good! We were on the run to all the tourist spots while on a short trip to chicago and this place was quick, cheap and did the job. My friends also loved the donuts they got. I bake an orange olive oil cake frequently so to see a donut with the same flavors took me back to my baking. Maybe next time I'm in town I'll try the chicken too! read more

I went to Do-Rite Donuts and Chicken at the Willis Tower yesterday. It is set up so that you can see part of the kitchen. While I was waiting for my food, I could see the food prep guy/cook repeatedly licking his fingers while preparing food, as well as shoveling food into his mouth. He didn't wash his hands, he wasn't wearing gloves, he just kept licking and and continuing to make the orders. It was disgusting and definitely a health concern. I swear he saw my horrified expression but didn't seem to care. I reached out to the restaurant, and apparently they don't care either as I have not heard back from them. Be warned!!!!! read more

The breakfast sandwiches are pretty great! I've tried the Denver (smoked ham, roasted pepper, & cheddar) and the chicken sausage and egg sandwich. I love tillamook cheddar and was happy to know that that's what they use here. The sandwiches are a good size too! As for the chicken sandwiches, I've tried the original and the southern (bbq sauce & cole slaw). I thought these were just okay, not that great. The chicken was not super crispy, kind of dry in my opinion, and the spice in the spicy chicken was not evenly distributed so parts of the breading was spicier than others. I've tried several of the donuts and I really like the vanilla bean glaze and orange olive oil, which is vegan. The orange olive oil is amazing! It tastes like fruity pebbles. Donuts are quite big by the way. The Hazelnut iced coffee is very good, if you like sweet coffee you would enjoy this! read more

I feel robbed. Paid an extra .35$ to have my three piece chicken tender meal made "spicy" and what I received was the LEAST spicy chicken of human history. Let me start from the beginning. I asked the friendly gal working the register "can we make those tenders spicy?" to which she said "OH YEAH" so now I'm getting excited and say "as spicy as you'll give me!" And she says "sure thing!" Received my food (I'm salivating at this point- very excited for a heated flavor experience) and open the box to find three small (about the size of small dog turds - tmi? You get the picture) tenders sitting on a piece of plain bread. I know- this is what I ordered so I'm not going to complain about the serving size or presentation. Upon taking my first bite of the chicken, I had to jog my memory as to whether or not I had indeed ordered "Spicy..." recalling the initial conversation (see second paragraph of review) I realized immediately that I had been duped. Let me describe the flavor (or lack thereof) of these chicken tenders. You've got the typical fast food fried chicken flavor you've come to know and expect from say- a McChicken sandwich. The texture is fine- nothing special. What's really shocking is the lack of spice- I cannot imagine a single person is walking or crawling the face of the earth today that would consider this chicken to be spicy- that's right, I said crawling- even BABIES would find the spice level to be majorly disappointing. TLDR: if you think mayonnaise is too spicy, these tenders will still be fine for you to eat without breaking a sweat. read more

I understand help is hard to get but come on!!! She places the yeast donut on the bottom of the donuts that old fashions. 3 other heavy donuts/ smashing the yeast. It was oblivious & simple common sense. The portions for the spicy chicken are 1/2 of the regular chicken. Doesn't even cover half the bun. What happened??? Disappointing on what good places changed into. Not what I looked forward to. After complaining the manager- Kevin did give another piece of chicken. Thank you- but my happy feelings of this place I used to get just now is not too pleasant. I guess I need to remember the good times. The food is still good but not the best- like how I remember it. I used to rave how theses were the BEST chicken sandwiches. read more

I have gotten so hooked on the cheese danish donut. I had their chicken sandwich, it's just ok. The fires were horrible. I just have gotten them on a bad day. They were hard and just gross. I've gotten their chicken sandwich again I just went to McDonald's for the fries and it was a hit. read more

I come here for the Dark Matter coffee on days I go into the office. The same lady is working every morning and she is super nice and extremely helpful. Every once in awhile I grab a donut and they are better than any other donuts in the city. They are big, fresh, and always cooked perfectly. read more

Food is good !!!! The employee that took my order wasn't very nice . The service was absolutely terrible. Lady with no hair, was very rude . Tried out this spot before heading up to the sky deck and had a pistachio lemon donut. It was something different and figured I'd give it a shot. It was definitely something different but very tasty. They have a full assorted menu and many different choices of interesting donut combinations. I'll probably head back and try out their chicken sandwich since it sounded really good. Either way, if you're in the area, or have some time before heading up to the sky deck, give this place a try. read more

I looked forward to the opening of this location, mostly to try their chicken sandwich. I walked over to Willis Tower in the pouring rain, and ordered the original chicken sandwich and three donuts. Service was pretty quick considering the line. Went back to work to eat my sandwich and halfway through I found a rather large size sharp bone, which I'm glad I discovered before swallowing it! While the sandwich was delicious, this was a pretty strange find in what seemed to be a boneless chicken breast sandwich! read more

It's not bad . The price is really really good. Please don't raise the price. I ordered a Nutella latte. Too much ice on it. Maybe raise the price a dollar; and hand it with No ice ? I love the location. I love the speed . I did not wait but maybe 1 minute ? . It was fast. Manager seemed to be on site. Really nice lady. read more

Second time going to the Do-Rite's located in the sky deck entrance. I had called earlier to see if they had any vegan donuts available still I was told yes and if I wanted them to be out on the side. I asked for the double chocolate to be set a side for us. When we got there and told the cashier with red hair that we called earlier she said it Was her who took that call and that she added a second donut on her to the order!!! That helped make our day it was a very nice thing to do so thank you so much. Can't wait to go back and order more donuts after being treated so nicely. read more

The Donuts are great, and the coffee is serviceable but skip the chicken sandwich at lunch. It's just one small chicken tender on an enormous bun. For the same price you can get 3 tenders. Or, if you want a full sized sandwich, head to Roost or Budlong. read more

I placed an online order for a half dozen donuts and some gluten free for me and another coworker (so excited for nearby gf donuts!!). I had a little trouble finding the place but found and picked up my order. Back at my office I discovered the gf donuts were a different variety than I had ordered, which was a slight disappointment. It would have been nice to be told that they were out of what I had requested. In any case, the donuts were pretty good, close by, and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Are you kidding me?!! I purchased one of their overpriced, tasteless Apple Fritter's on Thursday. My badd!! I was discouraged when I saw how tiny it was. It was also way too dark and hard. There was 1 bite of tasteless apple in it. I warmed it slightly since I did not eat it right away and it was cold. There was hardly any glaze on it; it had collected inside the bag. I am a sweet eater and know my way around sugar. There was hardly any in this thing. It was also very doughy. Did you cook it all the way through? Perhaps some others who wash it down with coffee or tea may not notice the taste. But, I WILL NEVER purchase anything in your store again. :-( Perhaps you can send a scout over to Dunkin Donuts (down the street) to check out the proper way to prepare an Apple Fritter. Sweet as Molasses,....but much slower. The donuts are great, though there are only two selections under my "will pay $-- for a donut" threshold of $2.00 before tax (which is something close to 12% in Chicago :( but that's another issue). The main issue appears to be training and insufficient staffing. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to purchase one donut, when there were only five people in line to begin with. Do-Rite Donuts in the Sears Tower is SUPER SLOW. read more

Really cool menu and staff that are fast and nice. I got the cranberry apple cobbler donut, it was $3.25 which is a bit on the expensive side, but it was definitely high quality. It tasted more like lemon than cranberry or apple but was still really great, I'll definitely be back to try more. read more

It's definitely a family place - just not one we had gotten around to visiting. On this visit I had the protein power scramble and paired it with their absolutely delicious biscuits and home fries. My daughter had a cinnamon swirl pancake that she enjoyed, but it was took big too finish. Not a problem as she demolished it the next morning. Definitely will be back and we won't 20 years this next time!
