The place has a cool vibe. It's also appears very clean. I do feel that service and food wait time are pretty slow. While we were there, there was a table across from us that came in and ended up leaving about 15 minutes later because no one greeted them. Our waiter was a super nice guy. We ordered Mac and cheese for the kids as soon as we sat. About 10 minutes later we ordered for the adults. About 20 minutes after that, all the food came out at the same time. The idea was to get the kids food out first because they eat more slowly and well it gives them something to do. Unfortunately, everything came out at the same time. However, our server took the Mac and Cheese off the bill - heck we didn't ask or even complain. So though that was cool. The MaC and cheese itself is really good. I'm surprised the kids liked it because it didn't come out of a blue box. I ordered a cheese burger and the burger was quite great. My wife orders some Asian noodle type dish that was ok. I got some severe Gi issues right after I ate. Those took me about 48 hours to recover. Now, I'm not certain what it was because my son had half my burger and I had a good portion of the kid's Mac and cheese and they were all fine. The guy hounded my peer about the tip she left. He grabbed the receipt right away and said her tip was ridiculous and said he had a long day and after dealing with a large table he expected more and what she gave was ridiculous. My partner and I made a reservation at Doc B's for 745pm. We got there around 735pm and were immediately seated. We ordered our beverages, the ribs, and fried chicken. Unfortunately, the kitchen lost our ticket so we waited a little over an hour for our food. After speaking with the manager, she kindly offered to have the bill for our drinks and dinner taken care of. The chef also came to our table to apologize for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. The fried chicken was very good. There was a large portion and it was cooked well. We decided to have the key lime pie for dessert. It was tasty and largely portioned. I have no idea who would drink it so not sure how they continue to serve it. I made the mistake of thinking the Austin location may mix it differently but I was way wrong! Service was great and fast. We started with some drinks and candied bacon and chips and Guac. The bacon was very good, agreed on by all three of us. The water did not come with ice which I found rather weird but maybe it's not but they keep it filled. Our friend has the Cobb salad, Shana had the Turkey Burger, and I had Chicken. They both liked theirs, my fries were really good but unless you dipped the chicken in one of the sauces they brought it was pretty dry. Good flavor but dry. The food was good, they raved about the chips but the guac was not as great as they were hoping. I ate at this restaurant for the first time and it was excellent! I had the Wright Chicken Sandwich with fries which was amazing and delicious. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and he came back to see how my food was and if I needed any refills on my ice tea. I ended up sitting in the outdoor patio area which was very nice and they had plenty of fans to keep it very comfortable outside. The inside of the restaurant is great also with a bar and plenty of tables. It is a lot louder inside which is what you would expect in most restaurants. I will definitely be coming back to eat there and maybe try something else on the menu since there were a lot of good options. I highly recommend trying this place out! read more

I've been visiting here once in every 2-3 months since 2022 :-) Staffs are always very friendly and they often provide exceptional service. We always order bbq ribs and they gave us steamed towel. One time we said we're going to share all the dishes, they cut our burgers into 2, gave 2 people portion of sauces separately and ample amount of side fries for each of dish. I have so many good memories about their great services. Food here is also great. I highly recommend BBQ rib, butter milk fried kitchen, and Key Lime pie, and visiting here on Saturday. I have to be honest, when my brother picked this place I wasn't to thrilled. The menu options seemed odd & the review photos don't look that great. But I was wrong! The photos don't do the food justice at all because everything that hit our table looked AMAZING. It did take us 10-15 minutes to order our first round of drinks but after that they kept us topped off. We ordered the chicken bites & fries and an appetizer which seemed like a meal but it was a good share. Not the biggest fan of their BBQ sauce but the honey mustard was very good! I got the Chicken Paillard. Omg it was so good! I'd have a hard time ordering something else next time. My mom got the kebab. It looked so good it was hard not to steal food off her plate & she kept going on & on about how juicy the chicken was. My dad got one of the bowls & really enjoyed it. Brother got the buttermilk chicken, the coleslaw was different but overall the meal was good & his friend got the chicken parm which looked really good. Everyone loved their food & was full afterwards. We got the Oreo ice cream & cinnamon cheesecake. The cheesecake was literal perfection! The Oreo ice cream had an acquired taste at first that we couldn't quite identify but it went away after a couple bites & was just amazing. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It could use a little better lighting around the restrooms. We sat outside on the covered patio & really enjoyed the weather. 10/10 suggest trying Doc B's. John, is a wonderful General Manager, he's very personable and runs a great kitchen. They are always reliable and will take good care of you. We have two favorite servers, Grazy and Lily, who consistently impress us with their delightful, personable, and attentive service. Both their grilled artichokes and #1 Ahi Tuna Salad are truly amazing, and their pizza is equally exceptional. Came here for brunch and the experience just felt very refreshing. A good amount of spacious outdoor seating to accommodate COVID precautions. The service was also attentive and friendly. So for appetizers, we got the guacamole and chips. The guac was good, but the chips were personally not my favorite. The rest of the table really enjoyed it though. I got the west coast steak sandwich and it was really good! Steak was cooked perfectly and usually I can't finish these portions, but it was so yummy I had zero leftovers to take home. We've eaten at Doc B's a few times (mostly via to-go because COVID, but also once inside). COVID provisions: We ate inside once and when we arrived were impressed by their caution. Everyone had on masks, hand sanitizer on tables, nice and spread out. We came in early (probably around 5) so it was a little less busy. However, by the time we left, the bar area was PACKED. So if you're being cautious due to COVID, I'd suggest to-go or going at an off-peak time. We ordered it once as an app and now I get it as a meal. The almonds are a nice crunch and the dressing is amazing (creamy but light). *Turkey Burger: In my opinion, this was just OK. *West Coast Steak Sandwich: We ordered this on a suggestion from the server and did not regret it.
