The Clearfork restaurant options can be hit or miss, but Doc B's is one of the anchors here. Their strongest asset is the patio. It has a lot of seating, a good atmosphere, and is elevated off the sidewalk (which is great for people watching). They have a lot of strong food options across the categories. The sweet potato chips are some of the best I've ever had, and I really appreciate their dedication to bringing fresh seafood specials to Fort Worth. I would also highly recommend their Oreo ice cream for dessert. It's homemade and comes with chocolate to pour over it. read more

We had dinner here two nights ago, sat on the patio, all social distancing rules were observed, staff or masks the entire time. Service was great the food was great we enjoyed the rigatoni with 1 lb meatball, the ribs, and the fried chicken sandwich. If you're in the area and get a chance you should definitely stop in for a meal. In addition, they had a wonderful and refreshing gin and beet juice cocktail on the menu. First time I came here I sat on the patio and ordered a burger. It was adequate. The service was good though. Still, I avoided going back until I got a gift card. Well, I went there with a friend and I got the steak sandwich and she got the chicken parm. The steak sandwich was perfection. And chicken parm was very good. Service was impeccable. So... maybe the hamburger was an aberration. I will go again for that sandwich though, let me tell you! read more

We enjoyed dinner at Doc B's last evening. The waitstaff were great. I started with a glass of wine ($11-18). We had sweet potato chips with guacamole and I didn't like them as they seemed flavorless and lacked salt but the guacamole was good and chunky. I ordered the Cobb salad ($19) and really enjoyed the finely chopped components. Hubby had a chicken sandwich with Cole slaw ($13) and he said the slaw was above average. Others enjoyed their burger on a gluten free bun (with no up charge for the bun!) and the chimichurri steak. It was a nice dining experience and I'd be happy to go to this cool area again. read more

I called the restaurant to ask about their half price bottles of wine available on Wednesdays. The hostess that answered struggled to answer very simple questions. I'd asked to speak with the bartender multiple times and she would not acknowledge my request nor transfer me. She assured me that all bottles on the bar menu were included as selections at half price. I asked once more if I could personally confirm with a bartender, as a particular bottle of wine was the only purpose for my visit. Once more, request denied. After my 20 minute drive to the restaurant, upon sitting down at the bar and requesting my preferred bottle, I was told the bottle was excluded from the promoted 1/2 price bottle on Wednesday, and that all bottles over $70 do not qualify. Needless to say, I left extremely irritated. The manager of this restaurant needs to hire better hostesses if they're responsible for answering phones. The lack of effort and service provided on behalf of their employees was pathetic. read more

Mistakes happen but it's how you respond to mistakes that show what kind of a business you are. We have been coming to Doc B's for a year and have noticed the service decline. We paid for two chicken sandwiches with fries and got home to find out that one of the orders was missing. We had to go back to the restaurant for them to tell us to wait 10 minutes so the other order would basically be cold. No one wants soggy fries and a cold chicken sandwich. They didn't offer a discount or to remake the existing order. We have given this place grace time after time but they clearly would rather keep as much money as possible instead of own the mistake and try to resolve the issue. Lucky for us it was refunded. We walked away hungry and disappointed in a place we ordered from on a weekly basis. Management needs to be reconsidered for this location - you lost a consistent customer today and you will continue to lose customers with your current approach to handling mistakes. read more

Wife ordered #1 Tuna Salad. The portion was a bit big, and the tuna melted in your mouth. They were out of the chimichurri steak I wanted, so I opted for the Danish BBQ Ribs. I love Doc B's!!!!!! They have AMAZING service and are one of my favorite restaurants!!! There steak sandwich is amazing!!! They also have some healthy foods!! If your on a diet they have a "wok out bowl" it has your choice of brown or white rice, beef or chicken and fried veggies or none. I love this place sooo much!! Brooke, the bartender that is typically in when I come, is a natural in her position. She has the perfect mix of professionality and personality and that same perfect-mix carries over to her cocktails with ease. If you are looking for a place to have a great cocktail with friendly service in a laid back establishment, Doc B's is the place to go. I've had a lot of wings in my day but I will have to say the Chimichurri Wings are the best damn wings I have ever had hands down. I also got the rigatoni with the 1lb meatball, well because who doesn't want to see a 1 pound meatball? Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauce was solid, a little sweeter than I am used to but it was excellent and the meatball was delicious.
