California salad, smash burger, old fashioned, and sweet potatoe fries
    Rhett C.

Hit up Doc B's Restaurant + Bar for an easy Wednesday night dinner and it did not disappoint. The smash burger was solid, and the old fashioned absolutely did its job (maybe a little too well). Split everything with my wife and just hung out on the patio enjoying that perfect spring weather honestly hard to beat. The place has a great vibe without trying too hard. The bar is always popping, and everything we've had there has been consistently good. One of those spots where it's tough to order wrong. Only tip, make a reservation. The patio fills up quick, especially when the weather's nice and the restaurant and bar are always busy.

Food was pretty tasty. Especially the Yelper chopped tossed Cobb with chicken. Salad was excellent. Piled prettily on the large plate with plenty of vine ripe tomatoes and big clean chunks of avocado. Chicken was panko fried and dry for me. Crispy yes but hard to chew. Me Yelper tried the chicken parm and it was just ok. Kids had basic burger and tuna salad. Now that tuna ( seared Ahi I think) was tasty and beautiful . Steak was " worthy five stars according to son). Service was impeccable. Ambience fun and a little manic but clean and full of good energies.

Great service. Only drinks on happy hour menu. Huge portions as pictured! Soup was delicious. Wish it came with more bread on the side for dipping. Salad was fresh but slightly too much oil for the salad dressing, however, flavors were delicious and the chicken is hidden under on the chicken Paillard. Be sure to cut and mix!

Never tried the steak sandwich here before, it was tasty but hard to eat. The staff are usually pretty friendly, and the patio is one of my favorites in Clearfork. I like cocktails/appetizers/patio for this place...the sweet potato chips and fresh guacamole are the best.

From the great greeting of the front door to the hospitality of all who waited on us! Great food and atmosphere!

Yum. We came for a work lunch on a nice day and had a table outside. The service was very attentive and nice, our water was always filled and our food came out timely. We shared a lot of the appetizers; Housemade guacamole, oven roasted chicken wings, rustic salsa, and the chicken littles and fries. Everything was pretty tasty. For my entree I went with the Wok Out Bowl and opted for the Marinated Filet Mignon Bowl with sesame teriaki sauce and shanghai lo mein. Everything came out hot and tasted good. The only downside was that our table was too big/wide and it was very hard to share the appetizers but everything else was great.

I've reviewed before and it still remains a top restaurant for me! They have the best scratch made, chef focused menu. Everything we've had here has been above and beyond any expectation.

Amazing food and service! Our server, Isaac, was the best - recommended great appetizers and entrees. The restaurant was clean and had fun music. It is a good place to eat as a date or as a family. Highly recommend!

Wanted to give Doc Bs another try and it was even worse than the first experience. We have a reservation for 8pm and checked in at 7:55p and was told it would be a few minutes. 35 minutes later, they had no idea how long it would be. I walked down the street and had an amazing dinner at Plank next door. Due to poor management and service alone, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this to anyone who values their time or a decent dining experience.

This was our second time at Doc B's. My husband ordered off the specials and I got the chicken sandwich. We started with the soup of the day which was their tomato goat cheese. I would not let the goat cheese scare you off if you are not a fan like me. The taste was present but sublte. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The bread was soft and the red onion and chicken offered a nice crunch. They stacked my sweet potato fries which made me chuckle. The coleslaw that my husband got with his lobster roll was soft good! It had a sweet versus tangy flavor. We ended our meal with some of their homemade oreo ice cream. Service was excellent as usual and there was a wait but maybe 10-15 minutes at best! We will be back

No rating the entrance they were racist n I am used to taking pics because of my new experiences moving from New York to Texas omg Texas ppl are huge racist no class at all, they took so long to serve the food and the food my husband got was so tiny n so expensive he was still hungry when he left from there we only went there because we had to see a movie close by movie theater that's all. Set up was good but ppl think they are better off. No class whatsoever

Visited for Mother's Day and every single part of the experience is worth the money, food, and service. The picture of the chicken sandwich doesn't look like much but the flavor and the bread was great with great French fries. I honestly ate the kale slaw up, the kale was soft and dressing was delicious. They offer moist towels to clean hands and I greatly appreciate that. If you visit you should order the chimichurri wings! The classic old fashion was honestly one of the best old fashions I've had. I found the waitress and manager of restaurant to be very attentive and what you expect when going to a higher end restaurant.

    Tofu Wok Out Bowl
    Pam C.

I had a delicious wok out bowl with tofu here last night week and I'm still thinking about it. I love that you can pick your protein, sauce and grain. I chose the sweet and spicy Thai and the Shanghai Lo Mein and it was a winner. The tofu had a crispy exterior and the carrots and broccoli were stir fried perfectly. Service was exceptional, our waiter even brought us iced tea to go without us asking.

Based on some reviews, I heard the line to order can get pretty long and I'm glad I did, because the place was packed. My order was ready at the pickup time and was well packed. There is some searing inside, but you would need to get there early to grab a table. My sister and decided to split 2 wraps so we could try more items from the menu. We ordered the mexcrunch wrap and the buffalo chicken wrap. I like how the salads can be made into wraps, which provides more options. I think we both preferred the mexcrunch, simply due to the crunchy texture. I think both wraps would have been better if we could've had the sauce on the side, because the wraps got soggy pretty quickly. The side pasta salad was surprisingly really good, and I see why they serve it. Overall, I'd definitely go back here for a healthy lunch option.

On the hottest day, I sat outside, but the fans kept the air moving so it wasn't terrible. Joseph attended to me quickly and was excited to serve me despite the heat. I ordered the steak bite appetizer and the mahi mahi tacos with fries. The steak bites were flavorful and the sautéed onions amazing. Perfect appetizer for two. The mahi mahi tacos were simply beautiful. All the flavors came through from the housemate tortilla, grilled mahi mahi to the citrus marinade and pickled onions. I do think the avocado cream got forgotten but I asked for it and Joseph brought me some. I added it to the second taco and it elevated. The crema has a little kick that is just perfect. I also consider myself a picky French fry eater. I'm more a frite fan than fry fan. Maybe it's the tallow, but these fries were wonderfully crispy and well salted. I highly recommend this meal! Overall, a great meal with great service by Joseph. It is always a mood booster to be around people that are in great spirits and do their job well.

However, once I received the starters, I felt the portions were much smaller than expected. In my opinion, the charred campfire chicken could feed one person, while the cochinita nachos could feed two. I will say the charred campfire chicken was juicy and had a nice charred texture. The white bbq aioli and smoked corn slaw were delicious and paired nicely with the chicken. Unfortunately, the cochinita nachos were very disappointing and, honestly the worst nachos I've had at a restaurant. The nachos are the primary reason for my two star rating. The Mexican pulled pork contained a few fatty pieces, and the Jack cheese was unevenly dumped throughout the nachos in large chunks. The bottom of the plate was also soaking in grease from the cheese. I've never experienced this with nachos at another restaurant, and I would think the excess grease would be drained so the chips at the bottom aren't left sitting in it. I noticed that most guests were ordering their small burgers and fries, so I may return to try those or possibly order another chicken dish.

It's a breakfast spot with…read morea loyal following, a small footprint, and a wait that will test your commitment to eggs. Spoiler: it's worth it, with a few asterisks. First, the logistics. The space is cozy, which is a polite way of saying it is not built for large groups or people who like personal space. The wait can be substantial, and the indoor holding area is limited, if the weather is doing something dramatic, you'll want to know that before you commit. The real secret, which I discovered the hard way, is that you can join the waitlist online before you even leave the house. Life-changing information that arrived too late for us. Learn from my mistakes. Once seated, the coffee is hot, the iced tea is fresh, a surprisingly rare achievement at breakfast hours, and the menu has enough options to cause genuine decision paralysis. We ordered two Traditional Breakfasts, both over easy eggs, both crispy bacon. One arrived cooked to absolute perfection, eggs exactly as requested, bacon doing exactly what bacon is supposed to do. The other arrived with eggs cooked firmly over hard. Same table, same order, same server. How does this happen? It is one of breakfast's great unsolved mysteries. The breakfast potatoes, meanwhile, showed promise, well seasoned and flavorful, but arrived in a mixed state of doneness that required careful excavation to find the fully cooked ones. It was less of a side dish and more of an archaeological dig. The third order, the Tri-Fecta, came with a multigrain pancake the size of a small continent, which almost made up for the potato situation. And then there was the Million Dollar Bacon. We didn't order it. The table next to us did. I watched it arrive and I am still not over it. Order the Million Dollar Bacon. Do not make my mistake. Do not be me. First Watch is a solid breakfast spot with real upside, get on the waitlist before you leave home, order the bacon, and maybe double-check your eggs before your server walks away.
