Wanted to give Doc Bs another try and it was even worse than the first experience. We have a reservation for 8pm and checked in at 7:55p and was told it would be a few minutes. 35 minutes later, they had no idea how long it would be. I walked down the street and had an amazing dinner at Plank next door. Due to poor management and service alone, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this to anyone who values their time or a decent dining experience.

This was our second time at Doc B's. My husband ordered off the specials and I got the chicken sandwich. We started with the soup of the day which was their tomato goat cheese. I would not let the goat cheese scare you off if you are not a fan like me. The taste was present but sublte. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The bread was soft and the red onion and chicken offered a nice crunch. They stacked my sweet potato fries which made me chuckle. The coleslaw that my husband got with his lobster roll was soft good! It had a sweet versus tangy flavor. We ended our meal with some of their homemade oreo ice cream. Service was excellent as usual and there was a wait but maybe 10-15 minutes at best! We will be back

Visited for Mother's Day and every single part of the experience is worth the money, food, and service. The picture of the chicken sandwich doesn't look like much but the flavor and the bread was great with great French fries. I honestly ate the kale slaw up, the kale was soft and dressing was delicious. They offer moist towels to clean hands and I greatly appreciate that. If you visit you should order the chimichurri wings! The classic old fashion was honestly one of the best old fashions I've had. I found the waitress and manager of restaurant to be very attentive and what you expect when going to a higher end restaurant.

    Tofu Wok Out Bowl

I had a delicious wok out bowl with tofu here last night week and I'm still thinking about it. I love that you can pick your protein, sauce and grain. I chose the sweet and spicy Thai and the Shanghai Lo Mein and it was a winner. The tofu had a crispy exterior and the carrots and broccoli were stir fried perfectly. Service was exceptional, our waiter even brought us iced tea to go without us asking.

I feel like everyone I find a good restaurant its random but hey, it works for me! I was walking towards another restaurant and stopped in Doc B's to look at menu and ask about happy hour. To my surprise they have happy hour all day Monday so the answer was immediately yes. The chicken on my sando was fried to perfection and the chimichurri wings were prob the best I've ever had. Waited was nice and he kept the margaritas flowing. 10/10

These are quite a different take on Ribs from traditional Texas BBQ, but they were tender, and a lot of food for the price. Very good.

    Beautiful flowers on Valentine's Day

My wife and sister decided to go out for a Valentine's Day lunch before we took in a movie and the nearby theater. All three of us love Doc b's and we hadn't dined with them for quite a while. Fortunately we had made reservations prIor to our visit. Since it was Valentine's Day we knew they'd probably be busy. Since we were there for lunch, it wasn't too crowded. After being greeted very warmly, we were shown to our table. Kiera, a lovely server, took our drink orders and let us know that Jeremy would be taking care of us. After we received out drinks, our server Jeremy introduced himself and asked if we needed any recommendations or questions about the menu. After looking at the menu, we all decided on our Valentine's Day entrees. My sister was drawn to "The Number Six" which consisted of Cajun buttermilk chicken with two slices of pickle with roasted garlic dressing and habanero-honey sauce. She decided on sweet potato fries as her side. My wife ordered a traditional hamburger with all the fixin's with ketchup and French mustard. My wife decided on regular fries for her side. I decided to splurge and opted for the "West Coast Steak Sandwich." On a toasted bun it included a 6 ounce center cut beef filet on an artisan roll with Parmigiano Reggiano, topped with kale slaw and pickled red onion. It sounded fantastic. I decided on the sweet potato fries for my side just like my sister. Jeremy comments on our selections that we choose well. As we waited on our entrees we discused the wonderful service we were receiving. There was a placquard on our table with the title "Cake for a Cause." With every slice of cake $5 would be donated to the "American Brain Tumor Association" in remembrance of Doc B. I kept looking at it pondering if we should share a piece of "Rob's Double Decker Chocolate Cake." The picture looked very decadent. During our wait, Ben, the restaurant's General Manager stopped by our table for a visit. He lingered at our table asking how everything was going and if there was anything we needed. I also asked him about Rob's chocolate cake. He said it is SO good. After the visit with Ben, our entrees started arriving. Wow, the presentation was so beautiful. Our sweet potato fries were stacked like a log cabIn. What an incredible idea. As a former restaurant professional, early on, I learned that the presentation on the plate is as important as the taste and preparation of the food. We were all looking at our entrees not wanting to ruin the image were we viewing. On to our entrees! My wife and sister had smiles on their faces as they started enjoying the beautiful food on their platters. My wife said her burger was one of the best she'd ever had. The same went for my sister's chicken sandwich. My steak sandwich made with filet mignon was, oh my gosh, an upscale party in my mouth after taking the first bite. It was SO delicious and one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The sweet potato fires were prepared perfectly, a bit crisp on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside. We were ALL so full and decided not to order cake until Ben and Jeremy came by letting us know Doc B's would love us to have a complimentary piece of cake. How can one refuse an offer like that? Jeremy brought us a piece of "Rob's Double Decker Chocolate Cake" which was topped with chocolate sauce and crispy wafers. Then the unexpected happened Jermey said what about a glass of cold milk? He said you've got to have a glass of cold milk with chocolate cake. The cold milk was served in very cold glasses. What an incredible gesture on the restaurant's part. What an incredible memorable visit was had to Doc B's! It's be a Valentine's Day we'll never forget. Thank you Kiera, Jeremy and Ben for an incredible visit to Doc B's. We'll be customers for life.

Brussels Sprout Salad 6 oz Petite Filet

I got the Brussels sprout salad- it was very flavorful and fresh. I added in steak and it was very tender and good! My husband got a lobster roll- he said the bun was warm and the lobster was cold. He said it was really good! Ambiance was moody and service was great!

Wok out bowl with the Brussels sprouts salad hiding behind the glass of pinot. Delicious!

Went back to Doc B's recently on a date night. The place was packed on a Saturday night and for good reason- it's a quality dining experience. I got the fried chicken special and chose honey Dijon and honey truffle as my two sauces. I also substituted the Cole slaw for kale slaw- which was a fantastic side. Overall, another pleasant dining experience. This place has had staying power in Clearfork and it's easy to see why.

A very nice experience for a multigenerational family get together. From the appetizers, entrees, and cocktails we were satisfied with our delicious meal and sips. Service is very friendly and attentive. Modern yet cozy ambience. Bonus: walking around the very nice Clearfork shopping center after dinner for fresh air.

    Fried jalapeño potatoes

Doc B's was fantastic! I just went there with a dear friend i'm visiting in Fort Worth. Everything looked so good, that we decided to each get a cocktail ( we both got the crazy beautiful martini - wow!), and then we chose to split the chimichurri chicken wings, brussels sprouts salad, and jalapeño fried potatoes. If we had it to do again, (which we plan on doing), instead of getting the chicken wings, I would have salmon put on top of the brussels sprout salad. We also decided to have the Oreo ice cream there, and then brought home a slice of chocolate cake for New Year's Eve tomorrow night. The ambience was so wonderful. It's a really large restaurant, and we requested a booth, but even if we had sat in a table, we would not have felt like we were in the middle of the traffic flow. Lighting is great, there's definitely music, but it's not too loud, and the servers were all delightfully attentive. We had Brendan, and he was wonderful. But everyone who brought out the food was equally as professional, friendly, and helpful.

Everything was amazing!! The restaurant overall spoke for itself. Nice, clean and quiet. The manger was nice and professional. The food was delicious, not too pricey and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone Kenndy was so sweet and attentive to our needs. I am happy we decided to go for lunch. Hubby had the knife and fork, I had the number six w/ jalapeño fries. Matthew thank you for your professionalism and allowing us to try the grilled California artichoke and all your recommendations. Manager Matthew showed me how to eat it after he showed up to my table with it out the blue... I asked him about the item AND BAM he returned moments later with a sample!! Just fyi my experience was GREAT! See you guys soon, I am bringing my friends and family.

Fantastic choice! The menu is very "urban hipster" vibes. Plenty of burgers, lots of fun appetizers, charcuterie, one of my friends has some dietary restrictions and they were easily able to accommodate her needs which made us all very happy. This spot has a great bar in the front, and a smaller bar in the rear of the place. Outdoor seating as well as covered seating. Plenty of shade as well which will serve their patrons nicely in the coming Texas summer months. This is also a dog friendly dining spot, plenty of people were there with some amazing canine companions (always ask before you pet a strangers pup, it's just polite and courteous. Almost no one says No!). Assuming you don't have a dog allergy, this will hopefully be a feature. There is a relatively new apartment complex across the street and I get the feeling a lot of the people stopping in were regulars who bring in their dogs during walkies and grab a bite before heading back home, but that is just pure conjecture on my part. Either way, it was a fun inviting atmosphere. The music was nice, not too loud for my old man ears to enjoy but still present enough to be part of the evening without being intrusive. Staff was very nice, helpful, friendly, etc. Everything one would expect from a fine Texas eatery. Lots of spicier options on the menu if you're into that, but by no means anything overpowering. My guess is the owner has stock in some jalapeno growers farm somewhere and the food is all the better for it! If you're in the area already or if you're thinking of branching out for a nice new burger spot, this place is great and I will be returning. I live nearby so it'll likely become part of the regular rotation for us in the coming months. We are spoiled for choice in this area when it comes to good burgers being close to Grumps, close to Kincaid's, and close to Tommy's up on Camp Bowie. But this place competes on good burgers and if you're looking for a fun hangout atmosphere, you'd be hard pressed to find better. Easily recommended! Give them a try, I don't think you'll regret it! Cheers!

The ambiance is relaxed, making it a nice place to unwind. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, so plan for that if you're visiting during a busy time. Service was on the slower side, and unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the deluxe chicken sandwich--it was overcooked and didn't live up to expectations. Overall, the wine selection and charcuterie concept are highlights, but the food and service could use some improvement.
