We've been to the Pelican Room to dine and no one at the time could tell us who these OGs are. Anyone? This looks like a good story.

We love coming here when it's cold and grey, just the two of us, for a quiet bowl of some of the greatest chowder on the planet, some sourdough bread and wine. We also really enjoy a big family dinner here; the last time they put us in the John Wayne room around the side, which is splendid. There is a nice harbor view and we get the direct attention of our hilarious and fabulous bartender. The Bouillabaisse is incredible, so fresh. The cedar plank salmon is excellent, it has a delicate little crust and opens into a rich perfectly done salmon surrounded by beautiful roasted vegetables. The cedar plank ribeye is also excellent. The only bummer is that hours are limited but that is par for the course for most restaurants up in Sequim. The history of this place is pretty neat too.

Lovely dinner with our neighbors at Dockside Grill! I am rather surprised at how high the prices are! Duck: $60. Halibut: $80. Steak: $110. Ouch. I felt a bit bad since our neighbors were treating us! We started with coconut shrimp and fried green beans for appetizers. The coconut shrimp were ok. They were a bit overfried. The fried green beans were excellent. All four of us shared both appetizers. I ordered the duck and despite asking for medium to medium rate, the duck was well done. Nonetheless it was tasty, just cooked more than what I requested. My table mates all enjoyed their mains and we ordered two desserts: crème brûlée and a semifredo that wasn't in the dessert display. Both were yummy.

What we ordered was fantastic. Fiona took excellent care of us as well as other support staff. Sorry we didn't know your name. Calamari appetizer was a perfect starter. The Bouillabaisse was flavorful with lots of seafood. Salmon salad with the pistachio dressing was also very good. Dungeness burger tasty also filled with lots of crab meat. The restaurant overlooks the marina which made for a pleasant view during our meal.

She made reservations and chose outdoors, not realizing it would be so cold, so I was freezing in my cotton dress. When I asked if they had any heaters, they kindly offered blankets so I took two and bundled myself up. For the amuse bouche, we got a radish with baba ghanoush and some sort of blackberry balsamic. For the first course, I got shishito peppers with baba ghanoush. The peppers weren't too spicy and paired well with the baba ghanoush. It's not something I would have probably sought out to eat myself so it was nice to have something different. For the main course, I got a shiitake, oyster mushroom rice noodle curry. This was surprisingly filling to the point that I had to waste some of the rice noodles. For dessert, I got a pear ginger blackberry fruit crisp. It was nice that you could taste that it wasn't made with a bunch of added sugar or anything. My friend got the other vegan dessert which was a coconut tapioca pudding, which I also tried, and was nice and light and tart, with some figs at the top. Service was great. Our server asked right off the bat about dietary restrictions so I told her vegan, no honey for myself. There was a very long gap between course 1 and course 2 which may have led to me getting full earlier than anticipated, and then the gap between the entree and dessert wasn't as vast. Our entire dinner took about two hours at Nourish, 7-9pm, which is longer than we expected, but the food was a pleasant experience. As a vegan, a little more protein was top of mind when reading the menu, but I love that they created good vegetable based dishes without any mock meats or excess sodium or processed ingredients. My friend also really enjoyed her food. Priced at $78 per person, it's a nice night out. We recommend.

The food was all very good and well-prepared. I had duck and it was some of the best duck that I've had in a restaurant aside from Peking duck in a couple very specific Cantonese restaurants. They also have tons of options for people with different dietary needs. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the patio environment. I will definitely come back here next time I'm on the peninsula.

This is a husband and wife team that knows food and drinks like a 5 star restaurant... no really Oh yeah I forgot to mention the homemade ice cream.. yeah that's what enticed me to the door in the first place then I looked at the diner menu and couldn't help myself and ordered the Cordon Blue with a Gorgonzola salad. I can't put into words how exquisite the flavor was. Of course the ambience was chill which lead me to the house Malbec.... Without exaggeration, this may be the best ice cream I've ever had…read more I'm no expert, but I've tried my fair share of amount of different ice creams and can be judgy about them, so I truly mean it when I say that this is seriously unique and special. The house-made ice cream is incredibly rich and smooth and has a perfect texture that I've never experienced before. It's unquestionably ice cream, but it's so dense and creamy that in a way it reminds me of a custard or crème brûlée. The difference between this and "regular" ice cream is not subtle at all. The quality and uniqueness of the recipe and ingredients is immediately obvious and is easily a tier above any regular ice cream. I got the Cheesecake and Apple Pie flavors, both of which were great. It looked like they make a wide range of flavors but only have a smaller amount (8-10?) available each day. I regret not trying more. I would HIGHLY recommend stopping here and getting some.
