Stopped in was greeted and sat very quickly the place was nice and dog friendly which I liked. I asked for a recommendation on the beverage and I'm glad I asked I tried a new drink it was delish. I got the hot dog as a recommending as well soooo great! I'll be back soon.

Showed up yesterday for some beer and tots, it's the small things in life! I'm a huge fan of Dog Haus. I work in the area and have been coming to this location for some time now. Imagine my delight when I heard I was also getting a Dog Haus location near my home in Santa Clarita!! But, this location remains my favorite, particularly due to the staff. I always sit at the bar and all the ladies(including Isaiah) always make me feel very, very welcome. The beer is always cold and I absolutely love the food. A young lady named Jaysha always seems to go above and beyond. She is very attentive, nice and provides excellent customer service. I appreciate her service and attention to detail. She is a difference maker for me at this location. Well the food may be the same at all Dog Haus locations, the service is not. Thank you Jaysha and to the rest of the staff that I see do a wonderful job on my visits. See you guys soon!

Das Brat, the chili cheese tots, and the veggie bowl version of The Fonz. Paired up with a couple of Hefeweizens...yessir.

Love the Dog Haus! Always clean and welcoming, and they have a wonderful beer selection that's always rotating (with plenty of regulars in the mix)! No matter what your preference, from light to dark, bitter or malty, they have something right up your alley. The service is always friendly, too. I swear, we've had some of the friendliest conversations there with the staff. And the food...is...awesome. Tasty, generous portions, and with a touch of innovation to make it memorable. Bratwurst on Hawaiian rolls??? Who'd have thunk it? Make Dog Haus a regular date spot, or just to treat yourself. You'll thank me.

We were so excited to visit the Dog Haus. We invited two friends to come join us. We finally had our schedules together and wanted to catch up with good friends. We were ready to order our food and presented the card that I won at a fundraising event through a silent auction. The server told us since the restaurant has been sold to another owner that the new owner will not honor the card. I was so embarrassed. There was no expiration date on the card nor any type of terms of failure to honor the gift card. We were lucky enough to talk to the owner and explain the hardship we had experienced last year. He was an understanding man with lots of empathy. We had a great service from Jayshy and the food was cooked to perfection. We were delighted with our meal and will return soon.

I'm totally digging this location especially at night. It's a bit hidden in a business office area. Coming at night, businesses were closed, parking was plentiful, and vibe was low key and chill. Bar seating, dining tables inside and out. Great bar area with a hug selection of craft better. Service was laid back like the night was. Food is what it is. Better than average hot dogs and always popular tots. Wash it down it with an allagash and your long tiring day has a nice night cap. Cheers everyone.

I stopped by this Dog Haus location to try their burger with Hawaiian rolls. I found parking easily in the plaza this store is in. I placed my order online and selected the pickup time I wanted. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all and have a separate window for pickup. They also have a kiosk you can order from if you didn't place an order online. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff here are very nice and friendly. When I checked in at the pickup window, they said my order wasn't ready yet since I came early. Then after like 5 or 10 minutes, the guy working the pickup window asked the ladies to verify my order again. I ended up placing my online order at their other Burbank location in Olive and didn't notice. They said it happen all the time because the website isn't very clear. But good thing is that it's nearby like 3 miles away.

Back in 2024 I visited this place while it was ran by another owner, it had ZERO customer service, everything was done online, and it was nearly impossible to flag down an employee because there were so few, and they were impossible to be found. The new and current owner has seen my review, apologized for the previous conduct, and promised me that since he was now in charge, things would be different and would be ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Cut to the present, and I take a colleague here because I was craving their food and was curious if the service had actually changed. As we walked in I notice the QR code and paper note with sharpie scribbles on it greeted us. Along with seeing maybe 1 employee moving something near the back. Strike 1... Obviously customer service had once again fallen to the wayside. Since no one told us where to go or to pick our own seats, we chose our own, day down, and tried to find and speak with one of the wait staff. Into the bar walks Deven; the only shining light of this awful restaurant experience... Sees us trying to have any sort of human contact, says hello and offers us physical menus instead of the QR code we would have to scan on our table. She then comes around and speaks to us.. Where I ask about the owner and if he's here. Which I am told that he is "seldom here at best." STRIKE 2... Already clocked out of running the business. I guess the remote work is just as good as a QR code menu to someone without a smart device. Either way, we ordered from the normal menu and Happy Hour menu... Then proceeded to "@$wait. The Reuben tots were all sauce and no pastrami. The pastrami that WAS there has enough salt to properly salivate a fresh water lake. The wings were heavily breaded, sauce was slathered in sugary sauce. The 6 chopped cheese were alright, though immensely lacking meat. Last thing we got were chicken wings, again, which were overcooked and slathered in another sweet sauce. Again. Thank you Deven,v and shame on you, Vaughn, or where your name actually is. -

We already have a dog Haus in Burbank but this newly opened branch is much closer to where I live. I also like this one better cuz it's much bigger in size and their menu offers more than just hotdogs. This particular branch is close to the airport. There's a lot of free parking available. It isn't particularly busy during early mornings so service is pretty fast. I hardly wait for my order. Staff is always friendly. Lots of indoor and patio seats available. They have 17 tv sets for view your favorite sports. Unlike other locations, this branch offers wine and liquor.

Fun place for lunch. Dogs and brats are good and we liked the Hawaiian rolls. Service was ok, but a lot of work for one person to work front of house.

I have a few other Dog Haus locations closer to me, but I still prefer coming to this location. It's by the airport and a little hidden, but it's worth the extra drive. With other locations, my order is always missing items, it's the wrong order, they can't honor birthday deals, it's always something. I've been coming to this new location and I've never encountered a problem so far. The staff is great and always checking in. They have a good happy hour menu. The owner has made an effort to come out and talk to a few patrons the times I've been there asking how we found them and just making sure everyone is having a good time. I've taken food to go, I've meet up with friends to dine-in, it's always a fun time. And there's always plenty of parking.

I think they should change their name to Dog Haus instead of calling themselves Bad Ass Breakfast.
    Ricardo M.

Walk in and no one is in the lobby. I have to call the phone number for someone to walk out from the kitchen. The water is over flowing behind the bar and coming out of a container being over filled. I order a breakfast burrito called the würst and it's favorable. The eggs are running and it is a solid 3.5/5. The sausage is non existent which is disappointing since opened it up to peek inside to add some salsa I had at my house. The bag contains napkins and the burrito with no salsa or chips. The woman who took my order was very knowledgeable and was able to take phone orders with no problem navigating the menu and entering it. The wait time was about 12 minutes but I was the only customer there. The parking lot is huge but from the outside it looks like they are closed. It's not until I placed my order and was waiting that they put the signs outside. Maybe I'd come back to this location but I doubt it for months. I didn't like the vibe and it had bad energy in here. I've had heartburn all day. I don't appreciate Dog Haus calling me back on a number that has profanity on the caller ID number. Bad Ass Burrito should change their caller ID to Dog Haus instead. Of course I won't answer the telephone when that comes up. I don't want to talk to this business over the telephone.

Everyone is literally there to have a good time, doing their own thing. Like I want to say, this is a safe place (?) I don't think I've ever used those words to describe a bar before! There's an entire wall of board games for you to choose from. We played about 3 or 4 games? And each one had all the pieces, amazingly! This just goes to show you that the people that visit this establishment respect and care for the games, which is a reflection on the clientele itself. And of course, you're welcome to bring your own game as well. We got there a bit after opening so we were able to get one of the multi seater tables. When we left at 3PM, the place was packed! The bar seats were all taken and the outside seating was pretty filled too. So be sure to get here early if you're looking for a table. Got an order of the chicken tenders and sweet potato tots. The chicken tenders was alright. But the sweet potato tots were delicious! We also ordered drinks. The food didn't take long and the staff was friendly. Parking is strictly street parking. So don't go parking at the KFC lot next door. Honestly, this place is great! Check it out if you're looking for a spot to chill and hang out! Good people and good vibes all around!

Of course, sure, I…read moreoccasionally make men mad when greeting them like this, but I just really don't remember much from my 1 year of high school German. Alas, when my eyes met for the first time, a glorious truck with pictures of sausages all over it...I darted over and wasn't afraid to introduce myself. Thankfully, a lady greeted me and was ready to take my order. If you order a soda ($2) -- you're gonna spend about $10 total -- fair. The two ladies (frauleins!) working the truck were both really nice. The menu features 8-12 of wursts to choose from (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/germanys-famous-bratwurst-san-fernando-valley?select=fPB0I_Yh0xwHQ_26WVrD5g#fPB0I_Yh0xwHQ_26WVrD5g). Goodness! What do I do? Well, I trusted my 6th sense, and ordered the Currywurst with German potato salad. Now, you must know -- I'm nearly never wrong. When I go out, in fact, 99% of the time it is me that orders the winning item at my table. I know what you're thinking, this guy should bottle this gift up and sell it! I know. I know! This day, I was kinda wrong. My plate (aka "styrofoam box") contained a little paper basket of cut up sausage, with a ton of curry ketchup over it...and it was swimming in it (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/germanys-famous-bratwurst-san-fernando-valley?select=fPB0I_Yh0xwHQ_26WVrD5g#vdlTUQcB9HZ5EyKGqEzCbA). Honestly, it looked Italian (which is very attractive, no offense meant). The sausage was very good, lean, no grissle, and finely ground. The portion of potato salad was huge, and nearly dwarfed the currywurst portion The sauerkraut I ordered was a cold and crisp (not cooked, and soft), and the size was the little sample size cup. ERROR. TRY AGAIN. However, my dining partner (and client) hit the jackpot. He ordered the Jalapeno-Cheese Bratwurst, which was on a roll, jammed with sauerkraut, and grilled onions. AWESOME. The fries looked double-fried, crisp, accompanied by curry ketchup. TRUMP. WINNER. This loss just flat out hurts. And, while my Currywurst was quite delicious, the portion-size and presentation was all wrong. Basically, I filled up on potato salad (which was nowhere close to my grandma's, nor authentic as it was made with mayo not vinegar)...and the curry ketchup soup, basically, that the currywurst bathed in. #IMALOSER Would I order again? Ja. Would I order a Jalapeno Cheese Bratwurst? Ja. Ja. Can I go to a German restaurant and pay the same thing for a better overall experience? Ja. Ja. Ja. (mit bier, bitte, und Oom Pah, Pah)

I ordered lunch here today and bit into the Wurst -- CUT…read more TAKE TWO If you like German Sausage, this is the truck with the Wurst --- CUT TAKE THREE I walked up to the truck and met Doreen who is the Wurst chef ---CUT As you can see I am stalling here. I want to write a review, but I really want to give this truck an incomplete. I don't want to give them low marks, because they do somethings so well; but yet I don't want to give them high marks because they haven't quite nailed it yet. Let's just say it was the Best of Wurst and it was the Worst of Wurst. So let's see what happens in the next few weeks. will this truck go from Wurst to first? Or will it be the Wurst-Case Scenario? Let's just list the good and the bad objectively; and I will not make any more puns, because you all think they are------betcha thought I was going to say Wurst. GOOD----I ordered the Original with Sauerkraut which is $4.50. The sausage seriously protrudes from the bun, so the first bite was all wurst and mustard. It rocked. It was fresh off the grill, spiced nicely and a bit spicier than the bratwurst you usually find in the USA. GOOD---Doreen, the owner/chef is a very sweet lady, who is new to LA and the truck scene. She is friendly, helpful, proud of her product and most of all; wants input from customers. GOOD---Milkrice,. For $3.00 you get a sweet, but not too sweet dessert. Milkrice is the traditional German dessert, It's like rice pudding, but without the pudding. As it's name implies it is a rice.milk concoction topped with cherries (which I selected) or cinnamon, which also looked good. GOOD---The ketchup. Seriously, Doreen gave me a sample of her homemade ketchup. She makes it from scratch. I think I tasted some serious clove and cinnamon, but I could be wrong. Now I would never put it on the sausage, but I'll bet it is awesome on the fries. BAD---The bun. It is basically half of a bakery roll, cut to about half the length of the Wurst. Not only was the bun stale and crumbly, it was especially inefficient considering it had to hold street food in place. It also tasted like Harry Belafonte bread. You know DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY-old DAYYYY aYYYYYY aYYYYY-old. Seriously Doreen, the bread needs to be bigger and fresher. Doreen tells me that that's the way they do it in Germany. She's been there, and I haven't but still they have to be better than what was on the truck. BAD---The sauerkraut. I paid a dollar extra for what was no more than 2 or 3 small spoonfuls of it. I understand why the portion was small, the bun couldn't hold anymore, but that's another reason why they need a bigger bun. BAD---The mustard. They have traditional generic yellow. Now that isn't awful, but Doreen had never heard of brown. Hopefully she will offer a choice. BAD----The soda, they offer 4 choices of canned soda. Were these flavors chosen by the Department of Redundancy Department? Sprite, 7-Up, Fanta Orange, and Sunkist Orange. WTF?? I can't believe that there is no Coke or Diet Coke. This should be simple marketing, and is easy enough to fix. Diet Dr. Pepper would be nice; but Diet Coke should be mandatory. Furthermore; most trucks are $1.00 a can, I blink at $1.50. they charge $2.00 and as far as I know don't even offer a combo savings. Bottled water is $2.00 for a 16.9 oz bottle of one of the cheapo brands (Arrowhead I think) I was wavering on a 3-star rating; but I am going to go with a 4 star. The pluses outweigh the minuses. But I will re-rate it one of these weeks. Hopefully their rating will be the best, and my meal will be the wurst. "Gourmet Food Truck #97 on my never-ending quest to try every truck in So Cal"

The decor filled with old black and white photos, the energy of the restaurant, and even having two full bars gave the place a fun, authentic vibe that instantly stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. I ordered the carne asada with shrimp, and the flavor was incredible perfectly grilled with that smoky, straight off the grill taste that you hope for but rarely get. My girlfriend ordered the beef taquitos and loved them. We both had margaritas. I went with the classic on the rocks with salt, and she had the strawberry margarita, which was equally great. What really shocked us was how FAST the food came out. I kid you not... warp speed. Usually when food comes out that quick, quality suffers not here. Everything was fresh, hot, flavorful, and plated perfectly. Living in Hollywood, this honestly felt like a breath of fresh air: great service, quality food, strong drinks, and an overall experience that actually lives up to the reputation. By the time we left, there was already a line of cars waiting for parking, so I highly recommend arriving early for parking and shorter wait times. - Ian Lantz
