Just an FYI, I did a delivery through the website, which is handled by DoorDash. They were ~20 minutes later than their ETA, so I'd highly advise against going this route as it may have put a damper on the experience. The food was not good, like at all. My 'Bad Mutah Clucka' was undercooked as was one of the corndogs. I ended up tossing about 70% of what was ordered because it was terrible. They forgot a drink and got my 'Bad Mutah Clucka' wrong. Maybe this is just one of those places that doesn't travel well and is better in house. I don't know, but I don't want to find out at this point. I'd steer clear from ordering online, if anything. Oh, man. This could be dangerous. I discovered Dog Haus on a recent Saturday, and I was blown away. I ordered a mini corn dog, the Old Town Dog, and the Love Boat. Check out the pic. Amazing. The mini corn dog was juicy inside and delightfully crispy on the outside. The Old Town Dog was a a fat, perfect frank, wrapped in fried bacon, and topped with caramelized onion, roasted jalapeño, chipotle aioli, and cotija cheese. What an inventive and mouthwatering collection of flavors! The bun? Well, picture the doughy sweetness of three King's Hawaiian rolls baked so they link together, then buttered and grilled on a flat top. Madonna Mia! And the Love Boat? It's tater tots, topped with haus chili and haus cole slaw. Fabulous. They have a glass showcase of all the different franks and sausages they serve so you know what you will get. The array of burgers look incredible as well. There are fries, onion rings, and other fun stuff. I surveyed other tables. It all looked great. It's a small space, but a cool vibe. Wow, this was a surprise. I was expecting your average fast casual place, good food at around $10 a person. What I got was something much better. The menu is full of dogs, sausages, and burgers. I decided to go with the Holy Aioli burger, some tots, and a side of WHAT?!? THEY HAVE MAPLE SYRUP SRIACHA?? What does that even mean??? I went with that one. I took a seat at one of the very comfortable raised bars, with very comfortable seats that you could rest your feet under. The food came out pretty quickly and I was in fast casual heaven. The bun was made of what I assume to be 4 King Hawaiian rolls. King Hawaiian rolls are perfectly sweet and amazing. Using them as a bun was unique and delicious. The burger was juicy, full of flavor as well. The garlic aioli, bacon, and cheese were all high quality. The whole burger was just really, really good. Easily better than any other fast casual that comes to mind and even better than any slow restaurant burger I can immediately think of. The tots were perfectly crispy...but the star was the maple syrup sriacha. So much confusion went on in my head as I dipped my tots in that. Sweet, sweet burns...confusing but so good. For around $10 + tax you can get a burger/dog/sausage, drink, and tots/fries. Sauces on the side are extra, which is a little disappointing since I want to try them all out. If I could give less than 1 star, you bet your sweet ass I'd do it. First. while waiting in line, I watched the older gentlemen working the grill turn a bratwurst with his hands, his gloveless hands. Obviously I didn't order a brat cause of this. Second. we sat down, and noticed that every table was not only dirty, but they were sticky too. Third. Despite the fact that my 3 friends and I ordered immediately after one another, while theirs came in 5-10 minutes, mine took closer to 30, after they were basically done. Fourth. Half their soda machines were broken. Fifth. They tried refusing to give us fry sauces telling us it wasn't "ready" despite the fact that they were little cups, and not something they made themselves. Sixth. After my last review the owner asked me to give them a second shot so I agreed. I asked for a couple recommendations and decided to try a different one but was happy and satisfied. Their menu is pretty large so give your self time before hand to figure out what kind of wiener you are ready to munch on before you head over to tackle one of their monstrous dogs. Great place. Ugh, I don't even know where to start. What a terrible experience. Employees weren't wearing gloves while handling food. Another patron actually approached the employee, asking why they didn't have gloves on, while everyone else did. God forbid you have to use the restroom, they were disgusting. I feel like now more than ever the cleanliness of an establishments restrooms should be high priority, and they clearly were not here. I have eaten here several times over the past year and thought the food was decent. Today, I went again for what will be the last time, not because of bad service or bad food, but due to the level of cleanliness of the establishment. To start, every table was dirty and there were many open tables. After the initial table experience, and filling my beverage, the drink area was very messy, both due to trash and also due to soda splashing, much more than one messy customer would have been required to accumulate this type of mess. Back at the table I glanced at the order number placard that I had been given, this was extremely grimy, both the placard and the stand. My concern is that this was clearly not the aftermath of a busy lunch hour (it was an early lunch and there were only two other parties dining), but instead appeared to be the cleanliness state that the restaurant exists in. I can only assume that the food preparation and storage areas are in a similar state. It worries me when a restaurant owner is not on top of keeping their place clean. read more

Love a good hot dog so I decided to give Dog Haus a try. I was not disappointed. Not only do they use a very non traditional bun, it's more like three separate buttery buns that hold together. EPIC CHEAT MEAL! I've been wanting to try this place out ever since I heard about it from the Yelp event here a few months ago, that I was unfortunately unable to attend. First off, the service was great despite it being a very busy lunch hour. I appreciate that the cashier named off all items in the hot dog I ordered to make sure they were all alright. I am allergic to avocados which is included in the original ingredients with the SOO CALI hot dog. It's nice to have the option to add or subtract special ingredients in the orders. I've always loved King Hawaiian rolls. I also love crazy combinations of food with a generous amount of condiments. The SOO CALI hot dog did not disappoint. The onion straw's crunchy texture was amusing to eat. The hot dog meat itself was a bit on the greasy and salty side. I also tried the slider (free with Yelp check in), and the tatter tots. The tatter tots were perfect and I was very happy to see fry sauce available here! The meat in the slider was really good, but it's not really something I would eat again, just wasn't all that special. The onion rings were okay, the tatter tots were way better ! I was soo full afterwards, and pretty much fasted for the rest of the day. Definitely would try this place out again, but maybe only once every few months because most items on the menu are greasy kinds of food that I can't eat too much of (I have high cholesterol ). This was absolutely delicious! My wife and I stopped in here for lunch one day and I ordered the "Old Town Dog" and my wife ordered the "Another Night in Bangkok." Fortunately for me, what my wife ordered is made with one of their spiciest sausages and she couldn't eat it, so I got to eat both! She went back and ordered the "Sooo Cali" and enjoyed it thoroughly. Hands down, some of the best "dogs" I've had ever. Those toasted King's Hawaiian Rolls with the sweet/buttery/melt in your mouth goodness in addition to an awesome sausage/braut/dog just makes a terrific marriage of flavors. I love this place...and I don't even eat burgers or hot dogs! We came here because we heard they served the meatless Impossible Burger and Beyond Meat hotdogs. We tried both and they were so good! We also have tried the cheesy tots, which I can't go without now! I had the Hangover burger which is a chili burger with cheese, bacon and fried egg served on Kings Hawaiian dinner rolls. The flavors were good but the beef patty wasn't big enough for all of that bread so I ended up moving the patty to one side and splitting the bread. Friend had a chili dog which she liked. Time is of the essence when you're hungry and planning to feed three people. I love that Dog Haus offers the option to place your orders and pay online; when there are so many things to customize, it's far more convenient to see the options on a computer screen. One of Dog Haus's team members called me on my cell soon after I placed my order to verify when I would like for it to be ready for pickup, so be sure that you have your phone turned on and the volume up so you don't miss it and risk having a delayed order. When I arrived a little bit later, my order was still being prepped. Everything was packaged up perfectly and there were no kinks in the order, though I did have to remind the gentleman who brought the boxes out to where I was sitting that we were also supposed to have a couple sodas (technically, we should have had three, but I didn't realize one of my buddies had ordered two combos). The Diet Dr Pepper seemed to be running low on syrup, so I opted for Diet Coke instead. Once I got everyone's meals to them, everyone was pleased with their selections. We had two Fonz dogs, a Scott Baioli (this was mine; LOVED it!), two orders of onion rings (crispy and delightfully covered with beer batter), and a corn dog coated in root beer batter (I must try this one next time!) with a side of french fries. If I had one suggestion for those of us ordering takeout, please put out some small containers with lids so we can take some fry sauce or other condiments with us. If you already have those packaged up on your side of the counter, let us know that those are available to us. I am just here to give my first impressions as I have heard from others this is the place to go for good hot dogs. So I decided today was the day I would go since I was in the area. I walked in and was pleased to see a good atmosphere with about a dozen people seemingly enjoying their visit. That is where it started going downhill. I walked to the counter and stood there a good 2 minutes before anyone acknowledged my existence. I cant say acknowledged really because I wasn't actually ever greeted. A person came to the register and looked at me without saying a word I assume waiting for me to order, so i did. I ordered the 2 different chili dogs that were on the menu and a soft drink. Please keep in mind this person has still not spoken to me until I am given the total. He took my card and said you are number 62 and handed me a table card of number 62 and he walked away. No "thank you" or anything else, just walked away. About 6 minutes later my food was delivered by another silent individual who handed me a tray and walked away. As far as the food goes, it was good. Not over the top great but it was good. Were the dogs worth over $6 each? Certainly not, but they were good all the same and I enjoyed every last $1 per bite. The dogs were dressed well and the toppings were pretty delicious as well. Their drink variety is a bit lacking but the lemonade and root beer are decent. In conclusion if you just want good hot dogs and don't care about them being overpriced then by all means head to the dog haus. If you enjoy being ignored by the employees then you get a bonus. read more
