My cat OPAL was a little fussy, but she tired herself out. Mario had a steady hand and was assertive but gentle at the same time. He mentioned she was one of the biggest cats he had groomed. He shaved her down, clipped her nails, bathed her, and shaped her. So impressed with the skills MARIO displayed. I've been calling her in about once a month to groom my Korean Jindo, and every time my pooch is super excited to see her and her son, Nick! They're extremely caring and gentle even on occasions when he gets frustrated or angry. Jeannie and Nick are absolutely amazing; very friendly and kind people! They're very flexible with scheduling; in case you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, they reschedule you no problem. There were several appointments where we had to reschedule multiple times, but I'm not bothered by it when it happens. Sometimes she forgets to answer texts or call back, but I'm super chill about it given how busy she is. Our puppy was in great condition, no matting at all just a lot of hair that need to be obviously cut down including nails. When making the appt it was very easy and quick, I do give them a star for that. But when it did come to appt time she called 4 times to tell me she was running behind, that it was going to take her a little longer because of traffic. Ummm it does not take 2 1.2 hours to get from Pomona to chino hills area. However, they took almost 4 hours grooming our puppy, which was a little concerning. Once handed back to us, it was not remotely close to the cut we wanted. Our puppy who is very friendly and out going, was very timid once handed back. I did notice that they were watching YouTube videos on how to groom dogs when they arrived, which was a big red flag but we continued anyway which was our mistake. When they did the ear hair plucking, they did it completely incorrect. Our puppy ended up in pain for almost a whole week and took a whole month to fully heal. Her inner ears were so red and bloody. We had to deal with her having an infection and constantly needing to clean pus from her ears. Needless to say we never booked again. We did find a new, professional dog groomer and she loved it! They did amazing. Will definitely give that info to anyone who may need it :)

I took Dolce in for an XS wash, and he came out looking so fresh and clean! I highly recommend them, especially because I'm very particular about the service and how my puppy is handled. I'll definitely be going back. Also, they have adorable dog clothes and a pet shop inside that you should check out. As a bonus, there's a Mestiza coffee shop right next door, so you can grab coffee and snacks while you wait!
