I walked my dog up here (was under the impression I could bring her in three feet to the register to order - given the name) but had to tie her up to order. I went with a chili cheese dog and the balsamic tots with blue cheese and a soda for $10. I was told my wait time was 8 minutes - which is fine but for being the only customer, was a little shocked. I got my to go box and walked home to eat. The tots were good - could have been crispier on the outside and he balsamic glaze was nothing more than balsamic oil, which was disappointing because it changed the profile I had expected. The hotdog was normal, nothing special. I had heard the food wasn't worth the cost but for $10 I guess that's not really my issue. A frozen corndog that is heated up in the microwave and served to customers?? How would that ever be acceptable? Both the corn dog and tater tots (which we just ordered plain) came cold, as if they had been sitting out a while. Oh, man! This might be my new favorite pig out spot. The cashiers were kind and informative. I really like this place. It is a cute spot in College Park and they are open late which was a plus for my late night craving for tots. I ordered the bacon ranch tater tots which for $4 was a huge portion and I was so surprised by the number of tots that I received. If you're gonna do something as simple as hot dogs and tater tots at least do them really well. Especially for these prices! We spent $25 on two dogs and two tots that we carried out. Our order was wrong when we got home, which would've been fine if the food was killer, but it was just so blah. The tots were dried out and stale tasting, the cheese sauce had no flavor, and the urban tots had a weird flavor from the seasoning. The most disappointing thing was the hot dogs though. I don't know what brand they are but they weren't good. They should start using Nathan's hot dogs - you can't go wrong. We ended up with two buffalo dogs and neither one of us finished them. There was way too much hot sauce and way too much blue cheese - and I know that sounds crazy to say, but it's true. It was gross. I'd rather have a $1 hot dog from Costco any day. read more

I agree with other reviewers that the place is overpriced but I really enjoyed my food and would go back. Checking out their current online menu it looks like they dropped the price of the regular hot dog by a dollar since I went a couple months ago. Now they are $4.95 which is more reasonable but still a little steep. I got the Buffalo dog and it had a crazy amount of buffalo sauce and blue cheese on it. Maybe a little too much but I'd rather have too much than too little. The buns were fine, not hard, stale or frozen as some others have mentioned. The Totchos with green onions, cheese sauce, and bacon were also very good and a small order ($3.95) was more than enough for 2 people. Service was friendly and polite. Hopefully they'll continue working on their concept and pricing. With a little more consideration I think this could be a very successful place. read more

I had the wild side hotdog. Hebrew national dog with fritos, bacon, Sriracha, and ranch on it. I had my ranch on the side because 9.75 times out of 10 I hate ranch. This ranch was one of those unicorn ranches that isn't magically disgusting. So I scooped out half of what they gave me on my food. I like to eat items as they are meant to be eaten. Was pleasantly surprised, I would definitely eat it again. They've got plenty of fried tot option to accompany your meal. I picked the totchos, you can read about them when you look at the menu. The decor inside is nifty, it's the other half of an ice cream parlor. There are pictures of people's dogs on the wall. I like dogs, so bring a picture and put it on the wall so lonely people like me can admire it and/or case your home to steal fido. I prefer Goldens but interesting breeds will be taken into consideration. One aspect of this place I wasn't thrilled about was a group of children came to eat while I was on the premises. To their credit they were seen and not heard. Also they walked their bicycles across the street like responsible citizens. There you go, bottom line this place is solid. If you want a hotdog quickly, or your date is about to black out and it's not going well and want them to wake up somewhere funny, leave them here. read more
