6/22/2021: Ordered a large, 1/2 combination/1/2 pepperoni/sausage/extra cheese pizza which my intentions were sharing my pizza with Cristy and Glen who were staying with me at my Maui condo; however, the one meal pizza dinner turned into three days' worth of meals! Geez~Why is this so constantly habitual my miscalculations deducing one meal will be inhaled in one session, eh? This surely is becoming problematic because my digestion takes time due to my stomach is small: I had full intentions returning to Dollies but, I won't buy another meal not until, the current meal has been cleanly annihilated! Pizza-day one, pizza-day two, pizza-day THREE . . . Geez~Inhaling pizza for three days was more than enough-NO MORE PIZZ, alright???? We came in twice during our vacation and loved it both times. The servers were friendly and it was a fun atmosphere. We only tried the cheesy bread one night but saw others food coming out and everything looked good. Definitely a fun laid back spot to watch a game or just hangout. read more

In 2024 we found Dollies being that we were staying at the resort across the street. We enjoyed it then. This time around it wasn't as great an experience. The fresh garlic is not fresh garlic. It's the jar stuff and that's not fresh to me. They plopped it on too heavy. I love garlic, but hate the jar stuff. I need to remember to clarify when ordering pizza, so I'll take that as my fault for not asking. Husband and I had a bed picnic with a movie and he went to get seconds... BUT gasped at the cockroach that was inside the box. Immediately tossed the rest of the pizza in the dumpster. The more I thought of it, I decided that I needed to call them and try to get our money back. Kept getting put on hold, which is fine because they needed to figure out what to do. They did offer to give us our money back, but what I didn't hear was a sincere apology for the roach! Decided they can keep their money just won't ever go there again. read more

My husband found this place on a walk. Our new favorite spot! We ordered a Coordinate light draft and the next time we were in the bartender Ed remembered what we had and asked if we wanted 2 more! Now that's a great bartender. We came back for happy hour at 3pm. I had to try the pizza. Got a pepperoni slice for $2 and s pork quesadilla for $6. Both excellent. Dollies was across the street from our hotel. We were feeling lazy one day and didn't want to drive anywhere, so placed an order on the phone for takeout. They quoted just a meer 15 minutes for our food to be ready. Food was ready on time and smelt great. The pizza was loaded with meats and other toppings and delicious. The chicken Alfredo come with lots of chicken and mushrooms and was still piping hot. It was a nice touch that they also provided bread sticks. The food hit the spot and fulfilled my cravings. Very rude. Found them on YELP and it said they deliver. Called and was put on hold, which is fine. Guy came back on the phone and I asked him if they deliver to my resort. Before I could even finish my sentence, he said we do not deliver at all. Repeated it three times while I was in the middle of my question. Extremely rude. This little hidden gem is Awesome! Our waiter at Dukes recommended this place. We asked him for a dive bar. We want wanted pizza and beer and boy it was delicious. The service was great. We went a second time for happy hour and dinner beside pizza. The happy hour prices on food is an amazing. The Shrimp Scampi and the Meatball Sub with potato salad was a GREAT choice. Dollies has been here for a while and is a neighborhood favorite. This is a sports bar, with great food. The ambience is typical to a sports bar 14 TV's through out volumes somehow magically perfect for watching or conversation. The food: This particular day me and a coworker, we went to enjoy there food for lunch and we were not disappointed. I had a Dollies' Grinder Ham, turkey, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, & Italian dressing, on a fresh Italian sub roll. Have it hot or cold I had mine hot, it was delicious. The meat was well portioned and packed with amazing flavor. It was approximately 6 inch bread filled with awesomeness $12.95 It also came with one side , we had the Homemade potato salad, In all a great lunch that will send you waddling back to your office rubbing your belly in euphoria, ready for the Maui food coma, they do have salads if your looking for something lighter. We stayed down the street from Dollies this past week and were referred to them for lunch by our hotel front desk staff. WOW is all I can say about the sandwiches. Over the course of a week we enjoyed BLT's (bacon is slinly sliced and the bread is perfectly (lightly) toasted), a Ruben (wow that bread just puts this over the top), a MeatBall Sub (oh baby) and Chicken Wraps (this is just an overall great wrap - great flavors). On our last evening in Maui we needed an easy dinner so we headed back to Dollies for some pizza and beers. We ordered a Rhino pizza. Crust was perfect. A bit bready for my usual taste, but really tasty. The combo of spinach, roasted onions, sausage and sundried tomatoes was delicious. On top of this the service is top notch - friendly and quick. This visit was great! Ordered pizza to go. Everyone from the man who answered the phone to the guy that checked us out was nice and friendly. Walked up to the counter to pick up the pizza and was immediately helped. I will say, if you decide to eat there during prime time, it's a tad loud, but it is a bar, so that's a given. We ordered food to go and the guy at the counter suggested we go to the bar to order a beer while we waited for the quoted 30 minutes. I thought that's perfect I can go for a beer. While standing at the bar waiting to sit at one of their benches a waitress came up and said very rudely we had to leave the bar area (where we were told to go) and sit at a table. We then went and sat at one of their dine-in tables where the server who took my drink order was very pleasant. I ordered a beer and the first waitress that I mentioned earlier slammed the glass down on the table and walked away without a word. After waiting for over an hour with no call outs that the food was ready I went and asked and discovered the food was sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. We took our pizza back to our room and thought the margherita pizza was decent but maybe a three star pizza with thinly sliced basil and I didn't care for the tomato. I'd give the pizza three stars but the attitude of the waitress and the long wait ruined the experience. read more

Currently, this place is rated a 3.5 star on Yelp and to me, that's fair and pretty accurate. We got a margarita pizza and had a few beers. Pizza is the thick crust so I will say, I prefer the New York style. If you're like me, go to South Shore Tiki Lounge if you happen to be in Kihei. I thought the pizza was kind of bland at Dollie's but could be the one we ordered. There were a lot of pizzas being ordered so I imagine they can't be all that bad. But if you're looking to just grab a few beers, watch a game, and get some grub, it's a good place to go. Vibe is cool and the servers are nice. You seat yourself. It's loud (music) in here but it's a bar. Our server, Karin, was great even though she was quite busy. It seems there are only two servers tonight. We had the Maui Wowee pizza (ham, tomato sauce, cheese and pizza). The crust was light and fluffy, and I almost wonder if it might have some rice flour mixed in with wheat flour? It's said that there is no such thing as bad pizza; even bad pizza is still pretty good pizza. I thought about this as we struggled to savor Dollies' offerings. Dollies is a cute little dive bar with string lights draped appealingly along their facade. Stepping inside, I was disappointed to find that it was not air conditioned against Maui's warm evenings. The decor looks almost half-completed, with the bar itself being lushly decked out with an aesthetic that doesn't quite extend to the rest of the restaurant. Behind the bar, all the drafts were covered with a towel (except for Bud Light, which doesn't really count), and our server confirmed that the only beer available was bottled. We ordered a half-and-half pizza featuring BBQ Chicken and the Maui Wowee. The latter adds a unique twist to the classic Hawaiian pizza by adding Macadamia nuts, providing an interesting crunch to the expected pizza texture. The presentation was great: the dough was dense and the toppings were plentiful. The first slice trailed long, mouth-watering strings of cheese behind it. That said, with BBQ sauce, pineapple, and tons of this gooey cheese, our pizza had no excuse being so bland. We'd get a whiff of flavor as we swallowed a bite, but otherwise we couldn't taste anything. This remained true even when the leftovers were reheated the next day. A visit to Dollies is always included on our trips to Maui, and this latest stop was a great one. We went for a later dinner on Saturday night, and it was busy and loud as usual. Becky was our server and she was fantastic. We got cheese bread, a Caesar salad to share, and pizza. All were excellent. They also had a $6 Mai Tai special going. Yum! The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is the fact the Mozzarella sticks and pizza were decent, good cheese and amount of toppings, the savior was a woman the guy called "karen", not sure if that was her actual name or not, but she is the only reason they are getting 3 stars from me. Called a to go order in. The rude, disrespectful, egotistical and flagrant disposition of the old bald guy taking orders over the phone almost made us hang up. He told us our order was too complicated and yelled at us twice that we were being too difficult. Dude, it's a pizza with 2 toppings? If you don't have an IQ over 30 then maybe it is too hard for you and you should find somewhere else to work? I think he was the owner of the establishment, but his demeanor, disrespect and ridiculous behavior, really takes this place down several notches. The savior was a woman named Karen, she took our order with ease after the old bald guy yelled at her while we were on the phone to come take our order because he "didn't know how to put it the order we wanted". Really, spending 80 bucks for pizza isn't enough for you to actually take a person's order? We picked up the pizza and the old bald guy said, "Oh your the difficult order, listen, I work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, don't ever call in a order like that again when I am here".
