Dolly's has been a must stop visit whenever I am at the coast since I was a kid. The place hasn't changed in over 30 years and that just the way I like it. Every time I step inside the shop I just smile thinking of all the delicious happy memories I have eating here. The donuts are very tasty and the service is great. Love starting my day off like this! For just under $6 I got a small milk, a maple cruller and a warm ham & cheese croissant! Doesn't get much better! I love donut shops that also offer savory goodies like croissants and if you don't arrive first thing in the morning they will always heat them up for you. The store is very small and retro but has a wide selection of goodies and it's cheap! By far the best value in town as everything is expensive near the ocean. We were at Morro bay from Thursday and check out Saturday. My husband and I want to try something outside Embarcadero strip where you get all of the touristy eateries. I saw this place on Yelp where the locals go. We ordered Ham and Cheese croissant, cinnamon bun and bacon cronuts and small coffee totaling $19. The Ham and cheese was average, the cronuts would have been better if the bacons pieces were crispy vs the chewy. I enjoyed the cinnamon bun...soft and right amount of glazed and cinnamon. I missed the hazelnut coffee with 100% Arabica and it was smooth...great coffee! read more

I had a cronut and an Apple fritter (I'm on vacation- don't judge me!). Anyway... the cronut was sweet, crispy and flaky just as it should be. Really good. A very nice place to get donuts and breakfast sandwiches in Morro Bay. This place was open early as we were visiting Morro Bay. It is off Cabrillo Highway on Quintana Road in a shopping center near the community center and Dollar tree. There is plenty of parking. It is a small store with a good selection of donuts, croissants, breakfast sandwiches and coffee/tea. There are very few tables and the lobby is not very large. I had heard about people lining up for hours for cronuts in New York City and have always been curious about them. This place is pretty hidden from the usual tourist spots but is totally worth it. Listen, as far as donuts go - Dolly's got it covered! Delicious donuts and pastries. Creative, delicious and great price! BUT the boba drinks - wow - absolutely the worst I've ever tasted. They don't cook their boba in anything. (it's supposed to be boiled in water with white or brown sugar). When I ordered my drink, I saw the staff open a small packet of boba, put it in water, and boil it in the microwave. EEK. They make a nice cold drink and DUMP the hot microwaved boba in drink!
