Wow! Wow! Wow! Dominick's was exceptional. Coming from Miami and having experienced some of the country's best restaurants, I can say Dominick's belongs in that conversation. The ambience, décor, food, and service were all first class. The oysters, lobster, and steak were outstanding. Kari was fabulous, and the entire service team was polished, attentive, and perfectly orchestrated. We never waited for a thing. Dominick's is now a must every time I'm in Phoenix. Luxury dining done right.

We came here for my daughter's birthday. Our seats were dirty so the manager offered us a complimentary appetizer, but didn't ask what we wanted and sent out calamari. It was good, but wouldn't have been our choice for an appetizer. Service was great. The ambience is quite nice, with dark lighting throughout. It was busy for a Thursday night. Lots of people at the bar. The food was pretty good, but needs better presentation. See the picture of the scallops and steak below. Also the scallops were very plain and could use some different type of seasoning. The ahi tuna was excellent. Crab legs were good. Filet was good, we asked for no char and it was cooked well. For the sides - the creme brulee corn is so delicious, the snap peas were also good, but the brussel sprouts were underwhelming. The food is very pricey. My daughter ordered the peanut butter cake. They kindly comped the dessert for her birthday, I think that's really nice.

Such a good steakhouse. We were able to get a table upstairs and there's a pool in the middle of the restaurant. I got the lychee and tonic and it's really good. I got the ny strip and it was good. I got the potato's, Mac and cheese and crème brûlée corn. It was so yummy!

Dominick's Steakhouse isn't just one of the best steakhouses in Arizona--it's an experience. Every detail, from the impeccable service to the beautifully presented food, makes you feel like you're celebrating something special. That said, don't make the mistake of saving it only for anniversaries and birthdays. My son comes here regularly simply because it's his favorite steakhouse. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or just treating yourself to an incredible dinner, Dominick's is worth it. Our server, Jeff, was outstanding -- professional, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever hovering. The manager also stopped by to check on our table, and throughout the evening we were genuinely taken care of. One thing I especially appreciated was how the staff serves the shared side dishes. Instead of simply placing the casserole dishes in the center of the table, they first serve each guest an appropriate portion before setting the remaining dish on the table. It's one of those small touches that perfectly reflects the level of service you receive here. If you're wondering how many sides to order, we had six people, and ordered four, which was absolutely perfect. We even had enough Brussels sprouts left for another serving. The Corn Crème Brûlée is an absolute MUST. It is a casserole of creamed corn with the beautiful, crisp, amber top-crust of caramelized, brûléed sugar. Because it's so exceptional (and not a huge portion), I'd recommend ordering one for about every three people. Jeff also suggested ordering the Brussels Sprouts "extra crisp," and he was exactly right. They were perfectly caramelized with crispy bacon and just the right amount of texture. The Dominick's Potatoes are like an elevated potato gratin layered with caramelized onions, Gouda, and mozzarella. We also ordered a second potato dish which is my favorite -- the incredibly creamy, garlicky "Boursin Cheese Whipped Potatoes." They were rich, silky, and absolutely addictive. Honestly, I'd love to just split the Corn Crème Brûlée and the Boursin potatoes with a friend while enjoying some of their special cocktails and that would be my kind of unique and fun happy hour. Speaking of cocktails, the "Pomegranate Blood Orange Martini" was delicious -- poured tableside into a chilled martini glass and the chilled mini shaker to refill your glass. It was perfectly refreshing. Along with the berverages, they will serve a cast-iron skillet of hot, soft, fresh-out-of the-oven garlic rolls and dishes of soft, creamy butter. I don't care how full you think you're going to be--you owe it to yourself to eat at least one. They're incredible. For an appetizer, we also ordered fresh oysters, and what made them so memorable wasn't just the quality of the oysters but the incredible assortment of eight accompanying sauces. Two people in our group ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, and Jeff recommended having it prepared "Spiedini-style" (seared with Chardonnay) rather than Chardonnay-braised. It was the perfect choice. The outside had just the lightest delicate crispness while the inside remained buttery, moist, and beautifully flaky, separating into silky, tender layers with almost no effort. Another person ordered the T-bone topped with lobster, while others enjoyed New York Strip steaks. Save room for dessert. The gorgeous "Triple Layer Key Lime Pie" is a ring-molded slice generous enough for two people to share. (Just take a look at my photo.) The smooth key-lime filling has a delicious almond graham cracker crust and is beautifully plated with fresh raspberry sauce and garnish. The "Ultimate Warm Vanilla Caramel Cake" is another favorite, served warm with vanilla gelato, whipped cream, and toasted brown sugar cinnamon pecans. It's the kind of dessert everyone around the table ends up reaching for "just one more bite" of. Some would describe it as similar to a Butter-Cake. Our gluten-free guests also loved the "Peanut Butter Pie," proving no one has to miss out on dessert here. One final tip: Make reservations well in advance, especially if you'd like to dine upstairs by the beautiful pool. I love how Dominick's offers distinct different seating areas, from the bar seating area to intimate tables for date nights and larger spaces for celebrations. If you have a special occasion--or even a preference for a quieter, more romantic table--let them know when you make your reservation. They do an exceptional job of matching the mood.

Great atmosphere and a very spacious restaurant, making it perfect for all types of celebrations and gatherings. The service was fast, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the crème brûlée corn was an unexpected treat that was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered came out perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I will definitely be coming back again!

I love a good steak and This was our first time here. We Made a reservation and requested to be seated by the pool. Beautiful view and good service from the staff. I ordered the Bone-in ribeye, creamed spinach and artichoke, crème brûlée corn (sweet and delicious) Dominic's potatoes, and a Scottsdale Rita. Drinks were strong and food was good. Bathroom rug was super cute. They gave 2 small "complimentary" overcooked chocolate chip cookies at the end.

Dominick's has always been one of my favorite Steakhouses. Went to celebrate an early birthday with my husband (it was his first time here). The food was fantastic as always. Jon & Ivan were so amazing - their customer service was top tier. Thank you Dominick's!

Solid steakhouse in the Scottdale scene. I'm a fan of bone-in ribeye and there's did not disappoint. Only would improve the overseasoning, and I'm not the biggest fan of hot sizzling plates at steakhouses because I feel like my steak is still cooking, lol. The iberico pork chops were great, just wish they were a tad meatier. For sides the mac and cheese waa a hit, but the mushrooms were crazy good. Service was very attentive, and they made us feel very special for our 25th anniversary. The free dessert (we chose the warm beignets) was an added bonus. Inside was busy and vibe was typical steakhouse vibes, from business clients entertaining to folks on their date.

There food & service are always top-notch! A family favorite we always visit when we come to Scottsdale. The Parker rolls were great: 4 out 5 stars. I had the bone-in filet 12oz w/crispy shrimp. The steak is perfectly done (rare plus for me) and the shrimp are a fun & delicious addition. 5 out of 5 2 others also had steaks (8 oz filet, 12oz NY Strip w/crispy shrimp) loved them. 5 out of 5 Another got twin lobster tails- sweet and delicious. 5 out of 5 Sides were Cauliflower (so flavorful-5 out of 5) and the Dominick's potatoes (rich & creamy, too rich for 1 member: 4.5 out of 5) Dessert was Caramel cake (5 out of 5) and chocolate bomb for gluten-free (gf) members (5 out of 5). Can't wait to come back!

Came here for a birthday dinner and had the best food and service. Our waiter was attentive to our needs. The bussers were also very kind. Our steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare and portions were very generous. The complimentary dessert was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening here ! 10/10 no notes.

This deserves more than 5 stars!!! Beautiful steakhouse restaurant with a fabulous menu and the most attentive staff!! Our waiter Josh explained the entire menu and made us feel so welcomed!! Took great care of us and made sure we had a perfect experience!! From the extensive wine menu and delicious appetizers, to steaks, seafood, lots of sides and so much more. We were seated upstairs near the gorgeous bar and beautiful blue pool in the middle of the room. A perfect vibe for a perfect meal

This is one of the best places to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just another day. From the valet service at the front door to the hostess stand when you check in, amazing. Our waiter, Ruben, was phenomenal. He guided us through our dining experience and made the entire experience special. We had the Ribeye, Sugar Snap Pees, Dominic''s Potato's, Hasselbach potatoes and the Corn Crème Brûlée. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and the sides were perfect. You can't celebrate life without dessert. Vanilla Carmel Cake and the Dark Chocolate cake were the selections. I was able to crop a picture of the chocolate cake. We were seated upstairs where there is a pool in the center of the room and the roof was open. It created such a nice overall experience for us. This was our first time at Dominic's, we are looking forward to going back.

Tomahawk wagyu was to die for.. crab legs were perfect and delicious cocktails. We sat upstairs on the rooftop with the mini pool which was pretty cool. The helpers of our server were very attentive.

Ask the Community - Dominick's Steakhouse

Is it too dark to see the menu without a flashlight?

No, we didn't need a light to see the menu.

Are reservations recommended or can you just show up?

Walk ins are welcome although we do strongly suggest making reservations.

Has happy hour come back or is there still no happy hour?

No happy hour it has been terminated

    Is the steak wood fired?

We do not wood fire our steaks. They are broiled at 1500 degrees then served on a 500-degree plate and finished with clarified butter and fresh chopped parsley.

Can we order just sides for pick up?

Absolutely, we are happy to provide sides to go

Are shorts appropriate for this restaurant?

Yes, we allow shorts as long as they are not gym attire or cut off jeans.

Does Dominick's have a small private room for 11 of us celebrating?

Yes. Reach out to them to schedule.

Is there a chicken option off the menu?

I don't think they have many, if any, chicken options, but a lot of seafood options.

Can you bring a 4-year-old child with you?

    Of course!!!!Children are welcome.

I plan to bring my elderly mother for a special night out. Is there easy access and minimal steps?

There are areas with no steps and a short walk but please make notes in your reservation so we can be sure to seat you there. If you already have a reservation I am happy to make proper notes.

Is the happy hour back now and if not, any plans to bring it back?

I asked when I went a week ago and they said no. I didn't ask if it was coming back. I assume not for a while just because of massive inflation on everything let alone logistics.

Does the restaurant have high chairs?

Yes, they do. The other person who responded to this is just plain rude.

Is there live music or piano on the weekends?

    Yes.

Is your Happy Hour menu back?

Hi David, Currently we have not brought back our happy hour menu. Our bar is still open for reservations Monday-Thursday 5-9pm, Friday-Saturday 4-10pm, Sunday 4-9pm. Hope to…

Is you bar open for happy hour?

Hi Roseanne, Currently we have not brought back our happy hour to ensure social distancing. Our bar is open for reservations only at this time, Monday-Thursday 5-9pm,…

Are they open for happy hour yet?

    No. Not yet.

    Have they opened since COVID19?

    Yes, they are open

Can I bring my own wine and pay a corkage fee?

    No you can't.

Does this place have options for vegetarians?

The center piece to their dinner menu is steak and seafood. However, they have vegetarian appetizers, salads - and if pescatarian - they have poke and fish options.

What is considered "proper attire" during the hot Phoenix Summer season?

To be honest, my man wore some pale, putty-colored shorts (couldn't consider them super nice) and I think a polo shirt. Granted, I was a little dressier. They happily took our $300 for the dinner regardless. ;). I have seen folks pretty casual in…

We decided to grab a table in the bar instead of our reservation in the dining room since it was 8pm we wanted a little more action. We ordered the pork chop and pork tenderloin. The pork chop showed up completely different from the menu description and didn't look like any photos at all. Even had a different potato without being told. I actually made a joke about the giant steak knife provided, assuming I wouldn't need it for pork cooked medium. Boy was I wrong!!! I could barely cut the meat and chewing it was impossible. I asked the server to take it back as it was honestly inedible. After seeing the pork tenderloin I decided to go with my trusty chicken flatbread which is actually very good! My dining companion asked for her dish to be redone without the very sweet sauce. . The manager even decided to argue with her about the sweetness of the dish. They brought out the rock hard pork chop again instead! At this point we just decided to share the flatbread. The server was a nice guy but made sure to remind us they closed at 9pm (It was 9:02). We would have been gone by 9 if the food wasn't so messed up. Plenty of people were still in the restaurant. We ended up leaving our half full wine just to get out of there. I would return for HH at the bar but NEVER have dinner here again.

The staff and service were friendly and attentive right from the start. The drinks were fantastic--a little too easy to drink! As for the food, the short ribs I ordered were incredible, and my wife really enjoyed her Mac and cheese. The only real miss of the night was my daughter's beef stroganoff. They swapped traditional egg noodles for spaghetti-style noodles, and overall the dish just missed the mark for her. Thankfully, the desserts brought things back on a high note--they were absolutely delicious. Overall, a solid spot with great atmosphere, service, and drinks.

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. We'll happily spend our money somewhere that values its guests instead of profiling them. !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! We ended up at ZUZUs, they treated us with respect and dignity. Food was 10/10.

The bar is a little loud and there's way too many lights on and open windows for a dinner spot in my opinion. We ordered cocktails east coast sour is amazing I could have drank 10 it was dangerous lol They were offering a signature summer menu and it was excellent. The food and price. $79 each person got and app entrees and side plus dessert. I got crispy calamari fries and my man got meatballs. We shared everything so it's like having the best of the menu! I got the pork chop and mashed potatoes. He got the filet and roasted broccoli with lemon. For dessert I had some butter cake and he had crème brûlée. The service was outstanding and again the food was 10/10.

Our waiter, was less than attentive. We told him it was our first time at Bourbon & Bones but he was more focused on regulars and a manager. The servers and support were fantastic. We received a phone call 2 days later, which I thought was a nice touch. We frequent Mastro's, Maple & Ash, Fleming's, and Steak 44. Food wise I put it in my Top 3. Unfortunately. I would put waiter service at the bottom. If you are going for food alone it's a great choice. If it's for service. I would suggest Mastro's or Maple & Ash. They are the best!

The service we received was superb, and our food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the Hickman Deviled Eggs to start and WOW!! They definitely put their own twist on these bad boys!! They are plated beautifully and taste even better! I chose the Pick Two option for lunch and I was very satisfied. I was a bit worried when someone mentioned the brisket was dry.. although I had a tiny part of one that was dry, the rest of it was juicy and tender. Yummm!!! The Prime Brisket and Pulled Pork were perfectly cooked and d went well with the Sweet Potato Fries. My coworker got the Snitch Burger and even though the bun was on the thick side, it was a tasty burger! Prices are reasonable and parking isn't an issue. This place has a very casual vibe with the bar seating on one side and the dining room on the other. Give it shot and hop on The Joy Bus at Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse!

Well, this was not the review I was expecting to write. I was first introduced to Bootleggers when…read morethere was one on Shea. You can go there to see my review and how happy it made me. That location became something of a semi regular stop even after I moved to the other side of the valley. I use to introduce all my friends when they visited me to Bootleggers at that location. After it closed, my husband and I decided to do a small gathering (5 people) at the Scottsdale location expecting the same experience at 4pm. Oh god how wrong I was. TLDR: If you want to be full after you ate, cool, ice in your drink, ADA accessible and have clean bathrooms, this place is not recommended. Full Review: We walked into an empty restaurant and you could tell the AC was dying/dead. It wasn't as hot as normal and we figured a place has a problem every once in awhile and continued to stay. We should have left the moment we got there The 2 girls working appearently never understood the concept ice. The water had like 3 half melted cubes in it. Considering that even though it was 120, but 101 out, and we were seated inside, you'd think there could at least be that. Now this where you might say "wow, you sound picky and entitled. its just eater." I wish I had the forethought to take pictures. Because if you were there, you would get it. I had to ask for refills for the table because they never even tried and were barely around. Reminder the place was empty minus us at 4pm. The ladies restroom had a small layer of water and I had to move random furniture to help get my mother (who is a veteran in a wheelchair) into the bathroom. It smelled horrific and was just gross. Getting her in and out was like a puzzle. So if you are wheelchair bound looking for ADA friendly, skip this unless you have a friend willing to just move the stuff in your way because there is no way you can do it. Now the Food. You would think that at least the food would be fine. That was of course the main reason I brought people there. The Apple pie moonshine and Peach moonshine were fanatic. The food tasted delicious BUT...big BUT here all the portions are hyper reduced. Like I use to get 5 eggs on the deviled eggs, only 3. The sweet potato fries of heaven, was half of the portion. Same with every single appetizer. My pork belly tacos had 3 tacos but the plating wasn't just different, but the tacos were ridiculously small. The only item that had the same portions I was accustomed to was the BBQ platter. My husband quietly paid the bill (around 300) and we left to find a place with AC and apologized profusely to our family. They were hot, still hungry and my mother felt like a burden due to the staff. I don't know if that was just the naturla difference between the 2 locations or if it has new management but, Good bye Bootleggers. NEVER AGAIN. Which is really sad because this use to be one of my favorites.
