It's a friend's birthday and they want to go somewhere very nice in the Valley, a dinner that they'll remember. Enter: Orange Sky. Book reservations early, because I booked our reservation three weeks in advance and was not able to get a sunset seating time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got there shortly after sunset, but looking out onto the Vallt and seeing all the lights was still beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was attentive, engaging, and funny. We asked for recommendations, and she felt comfortable enough to give her honest opinions, which I truly appreciate it. My Boulevardier cocktail was probably one of the strongest I've ever had, so I only needed one to last through dinner. Thank you I want to try a different kind of red meat, and the fact that elk was an option really excited me. I ordered it, medium rare, and was so happy that I did! If you're looking for a red meat alternative that's lean yet filling, definitely try elk. I was so happy to have a Caesar with egg, as I add egg to mine when I make them at home. And they even had anchovies (upon request)! The creamed spinach was a little too "organic" tasting for me: the spinach wasn't cooked down enough and the cream sauce lacked flavor. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner for those "special occasions".

Yes! Yes! Yes! Don't think about it, just go. We went for my Hubs bday yesterday and was impressed from the moment I stepped off the elevator. The views were nothing short of amazing. Breathtaking, honestly. They sat us in a table facing the window so that we were able to enjoy the sunset, and OMG was it beautiful. I had the seabass and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We shared a side of asparagus and hubs had the steak. He told me it was the best steak he'd ever had in his life. I can't remember the name of server but she took great care of us. After dinner we sat on the patio and enjoyed the Rick Springfield concert. Great times!

A special dessert for a special occasion

A meal to remember! I was extremely pleased with the quality and the portions of the food. While many fine dining destinations will serve you a tiny slice of over priced steak and call it luxury, Orange Sky blew my expectations out of the water! I ordered the Ostrich with the fried brussels sprouts. While some may not find these offerings to be the most appealing, I am here to tell you to try them... they will speak for themselves. My complements to the chef! [[HIGHLIGHT]]My date and I were given a private booth with a phenomenal sunset view that simply cannot be understated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sunshade was set on an auto timer so the harsh sun was blocked until just before it was ready to set behind the mountains.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The host staff were very diligent, but not in the least bit disruptive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an outstanding location to bring a date. Top marks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The sunset view is an amazing backdrop. You can go outside on the patio for expansive views. Our drinks didn't arrive in a timely fashion but were very unique and quite tasty. It took a long time for our server to take our order. She did ask about food allergies and consulted her notes while telling us which items to avoid. My husband wanted to order Ostrich and just as he was about to order, another server walked by and told our server that there was no more ostrich! Had our server not taken so long to get our order he could have had it. We both had salmon and while not a unique dish, it was prepared excellently. The mushroom and Brussels sprouts sides were also good but a little heavy on the oil . Our desert was comped (anniversary celebration) and brought to the table in an unexpected and delightful way. The manager comped our drinks to make up for dinner which was appreciated .

My friend and I dined at Orange Sky for our annual holiday dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We made reservations for 5:30 so we could enjoy the sunset and oh what a view![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated on a "couch" in a private alcove, facing the sunset. It was absolutely perfect![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered dirty martinis with blue cheese olives and shared the Crab and Avocado Stack and the Meatballs. We also shared the Shrimp Pasta. Everything was amazing!! Our server was fabulous as well! She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend, especially for a romantic night out!

This meal was a surprising treat. I didn't plan to eat here and didn't even know this place existed. We were doing a single night staycation as locals and I actually intended to go to Tash but I wanted to grab a Rez. Orange Sky had tables open so I booked there after reading about the nice sunset view. From start to finish we enjoyed our meal. The server Lindsey was perfect. Ambiance was nice and relaxing. And food was very good. The flat iron steak is such an underrated cut of meat. It had some of the most flavor I've tasted in a cut of meat. And oysters were fantastic as well. Our sides delicious as well. All in all, I would come back here to try other menu items. The view at sunset alone is worth coming here if you're also a sunset lover.

I had the pleasure of eating at Orange Sky for my friend's birthday and it was a fabulous experience! For the price we paid, it was honestly worth every penny. We started off with a round of drinks and the cheese board and I thought the charcuterie selection was great. I loved my espresso martini as well. I ordered a steak, and we got the carrots and brussels sprouts to share. The brussels sprouts were a hit with the whole table! They were cooked perfectly, not soggy at all, and seasoned to perfection. The carrots were also fantastic, and not too sweet. My steak was cooked exactly the way I liked it and the sauce option I got paired amazingly. The service here was great, and we were really taken care of here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view from our table was hard to beat-- definitely a highlight of the entire dinner. You can see so much of the Valley from the restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I have something big to celebrate, I would definitely consider coming back here. It's convenient that it's at the casino as well!

Going to this restaurant was a true experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere felt elegant and classy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had live music which I am a sucker for, so I enjoyed getting to start off the night with some tunes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food left me WOWED, if you're feeling iffy about getting the ostrich GET IT PLEASE I BEG YOU. It's easily one of the best cuts of meat I've ever had. I was in the mood to try something exotic and do not regret it one bit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is great for an upscale date night because it's a great wine and dine experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything we had was delicious from the drinks to the dessert! Service of course was top tier and our server, Anthony was on top of it throughout our whole time there!

Orange Sky has amazing views and excellent service--our waiter Mars made the night memorable. The 50-day dry-aged steak was outstanding, the sea bass and halibut were perfectly cooked, and the Old Fashioned in a smoke cage was a fun touch. Desserts like the blueberry bundt cake and vanilla flan were also delicious. The only disappointment was the $220 Orange Sky Coastal Market (seafood tower)--the oysters and scallops weren't fresh, and the presentation was sloppy. Overall, great ambiance and food--just avoid the seafood tower at all cost, no pun intended.

This visit was amazing! So happy to return to celebrate with our niece. She wanted to experience her first fine dining experience. Our favorite server Bibiana was phenomenal as always. Felipe was such a joy to have and help us celebrate. The seating was perfect, everything was so delicious. The night was so special and being here was 10x better. Highly recommend the desserts & the chef special! Huge shoutout to the Chefs: The Amazing Chef Martin, Sous Chef Daniel, and Chef Maria for being so amazing to us during our celebration. We're happy to have had your care and delicious hospitality! Can't wait to come back.

Is booking a patio table a good option to see fairmont fireworks display in July ? Like at 8 pm and stay longer or 830 reservation?

If you can get a reso good luck and yes you should be able to see it and other areas of the city.

How can we pay..is it just credit card and cash ? No digital?

Card or cash. The check came in a traditional leather portfolio at the end of the meal.

    Large party friendly?

Yes. It's really spacious inside and has a giant patio outside which would be great for a large party with nice weather.…

How much are the private booths?

    $200

    What is the dress?

It's in a casino so I noticed that people were dressed anywhere from jeans casual to formal dress.

Is this place good for a birthday dinner with 5 mature young ladies?

Amazing place. First rate food, service and atmosphere. Get your wallet out, and expect to pay for what you get. It's my favorite fine dining in the valley.

Do people bring their small children here? I ask because my last few pricey dinners at other fine dining restaurants have been interrupted by screaming children, so hoping this is not a child friendly restaurant. Thank you!

As a parent who does have kids who tend to scream in a restaurant. This restaurant is definitely not kid friendly I would never even think twice to bring my kids here. It's very romantic it's a perfect date night steak house.

Can you order food at the bar?

Yes, it's our favorite place to enjoy a date night dinner.

Can I bring my own bottle of wine for a corkage fee?

Are there any meals here that are $30-50? For one person?

I would say possibly 50 for a plate but I would call . They are definitely on the more pricey side so don't quote me . I would say that probably wouldn't include drinks and gratuity. I know the menu doesn't even show prices online those types of…

Can u drink at the bar without reservation?

Yes, no problem. There is an actual bar and a few tables in the bar area.

Will they make a vegan meal if one guest in the party has dietary restrictions?

    YES

For apps we got the lamb fondue which was super tender and unique. Dipping meet in cheese? Literally nothing better. Then we also got the green chili pork stew which is a MUST try! Not too spicy and full of flavor. Also, great for sharing as you fill it in the buttery tortillas. The filet was seriously one of the best I've ever had in Arizona. It has a nice shallot butter crust and it was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare. This was a highlight. The pork chop is huge and has a nice sweetness to it. The meat wasn't dry either...it pretty much tasted like the best bacon I've ever had LOL Everyone must get the green chili Mac n cheese. Not spicy at all just Smokey and tangy and full of cheese but shockingly not that heavy. The pecan pie was unreal. Gooey and sweet but the crust was still super flakey. She's been there for awhile so you know that they treat their staff well. She was super knowledgeable and honest about certain menu items. I also spoke with the manager, Matt, who was very welcoming and seemed very proud of his restaurant (as he should be). Overall highly reccomend it here. Everything exceeded my expectations. The host told us that there was open seating along the wall or under cover outside. Since the wall was full, we ventured outside near the cooler. We were given water right away but didn't even see a server, Jessica, for 12 mins. We even had to ask her for menus. It was a very awkward start. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and a Caesar salad, plus wine while I got the 22 ounce Ribeye and a side of Poblano and PepperJack Grits, plus an iced tea. It all came to $137.11 plus tip. Our salad arrived in 8 minutes and our dinner 10 mins later. The salad was outstanding. Plenty of romaine, dressed with the right amount of dressing, 3-4 croutons and a mound of shaved Parmesan cheese. The salmon was really good, served with sautéed green beans and soy butter. My steak was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well and the grits were incredible. They were creamy, with pronounced poblano and Jack cheese. It was the perfect accompaniment. Jessica did a great job checking in on us during our meal but, again, it was awkward waiting 15 mins for her to offer dessert and check. We will return but perhaps not during happy hour, when it's very busy but the evening staff hasn't arrived yet.

We kicked things off with a complimentary prickly pear vodka cocktail (delicious) paired with a comp app -- looks like they rotate these, and I got hummus with crudite and crackers. During the meal, there were 2 standout dishes that made this memorable. - Hamachi Crudo: THE BEST crudo I have ever had. They switch up the dressing regularly, but whatever they put on mine was unforgettable - 10 oz Wagyu Strip: solid steak, but nothing "Wagyu" tasting. It didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth fatty richness I was hoping for from wagyu and was slightly chewy. - Scallops: tender! - Asparagus: came with a creamy sauce which was a great touch - Chocolate Espresso Mousse Cake: MAGICAL. Layered, with crunchy pralines and vanilla ice cream. If you've had the chocolate hazelnut cake at Carbone, this gave me major similar vibes... that good! Will absolutely be back to try a different cut of steak and also the loaded baked potato. The ambience alone is worth the trip, but the crudo and that cake are what's going to stick with me.

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

The popcorn looks ordinary, but made with bacon it is outstanding. We split an amazing chopped salad and I had a Happy Hour sized serving (1/2) of the meatloaf which was great. Beautiful, spotless, excellent service and terrific food.

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. We'll happily spend our money somewhere that values its guests instead of profiling them. !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! We ended up at ZUZUs, they treated us with respect and dignity. Food was 10/10.

The service we received was superb, and our food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the Hickman Deviled Eggs to start and WOW!! They definitely put their own twist on these bad boys!! They are plated beautifully and taste even better! I chose the Pick Two option for lunch and I was very satisfied. I was a bit worried when someone mentioned the brisket was dry.. although I had a tiny part of one that was dry, the rest of it was juicy and tender. Yummm!!! The Prime Brisket and Pulled Pork were perfectly cooked and d went well with the Sweet Potato Fries. My coworker got the Snitch Burger and even though the bun was on the thick side, it was a tasty burger! Prices are reasonable and parking isn't an issue. This place has a very casual vibe with the bar seating on one side and the dining room on the other. Give it shot and hop on The Joy Bus at Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse!
