This location is very hit and miss. In all fairness, we've gotten excellent service and food in the past from this store. Also the response from certain managers over the occasional miscue has previously been excellent too. But when things go wrong, boy... they go Twilight Zone wrong. Case in point, today was blustery, rainy and cold so hubby stopped by to get a treat--the Parmesan twists with 5 cheese dip has been AMAZING in the past. This trip, we opened the dip container and saw a brown burnt mess congealed on the bottom of the pan. So burnt most of the cheese was gone, evaporated to cheesy heaven, roughly an 1/8 inch remained. We call the store to speak to a manager, fella answers and says he is the manager. I explain what happened and he says that's what happens when you let the dip sit around and don't eat it right away. What? Warm cheese dip cooling off becomes a burnt thin layer at the bottoms of a foil pan? I explain again thinking he must have misunderstood and missed the "burned beyond edibility" part, but no, he insists that they have a card to follow and everything has to be measured and cooked for a certain time per Dominos corp instructions and there's no way they can mess it up. Hubby takes over and tries to explain again the dip isn't cold -- it's burnt brown and the "manager" explains again how the cheese is measured and put through the oven for a specific time so it has to come out right, he said he's had lots of complaints about the same thing that happened to us happening to others, but he tells everyone it's because the dip can't "sit around" or that's what happens. Unbelievable. Even more unbelievable is he kept repeating the same thing over and over and saying he was trying to explain how nothing was done wrong because they have a card explaining how to prepare it. Don't you understand--Dominos has a CARD. Hubby in turn tried to explain that if the finished food product is inedible, someone did something wrong. After all, isn't the goal here to prepare edible food? Manager fella insisted that was not the case, the dip was prepared correctly. Hubby throws in the towel trying to get through to him, asked for refund, got the story yet again that the dip was prepared correctly because they have a card and have to measure the cheese so it has to be right--the card says so. Hubby hung up unsure if we even received a refund, muttering something about SkyNet is closer than we think. Sorry Domino's--all those ads about getting food right and making the customers happy are lost on this shining star of management. read more

This really is a (re)new(ed) Domino's! We ordered from Domino's all the time when I was a kid. Friday nights were pizza night in my house and they were one of few places that would par-bake a cheese pizza for us. Why would we want it that way? Because then we would get all kinds of crazy creative at home adding our own toppings. PVPV way back in the day used to have a PTSO discount card & you could get a large cheese pizza for $3.99 (unheard of today), so with three of those puppies our Friday nights were set. And they made delicious subs too. Meatball & Phily Cheesesteak were definitely my favorites. Then something happened. Or should I say something didn't happen. Domino's really fell out of the market and their pizza fell off the enjoyability chart. I really didn't ever go to Domino's for about 15 years. They wised up. They revamped their dough. They improved their ingredients and they really put out a good - if not better - product compared to some of the other pizza delivery places. We don't usually get it delivered as it's barely over a mile from our house and/or on my husband's way home from work. The food here is pretty standard for a Domino's establishment, but they can be disappointingly unreliable. I had a party and needed a gluten free pizza for a guest. However, they called us saying they were out of gluten-free minutes before the delivery. I don't know how they prioritize the orders, but it would have been useful to know a couple hours earlier that they could not accommodate what we needed. Thank goodness the Domino's in Jax Beach came through, even though they could not deliver and we had to detract from our event to go get it. I was not pleased with this place. Their job should be to satisfy the customer and not throw a wrench in her night's plans. Again, they should have planned better, or kept it on their conscience that they had already committed to making a gluten-free pizza later. As I said earlier, the food and its quality it standard to most other Domino's restaurants, and the service here is typically fine, but I really don't know where I stand with them after this experience. read more
