Definitely a place you come to during the week or expect a long wait on weekends. Came in on a Tuesday had no trouble with parking or a wait. Sat at the bar and service was AMAZING. Our bartender was great definitely made the experience better. We got the surf and turf egg rolls and birria tacos, an horchata and house margarita. Everything was delicious, and portions are big, I took over half my plate home, and got to take a whole cup of horchata home even after drinking half the jar. We went tonight for the first time using the "join the waitlist" feature online which was very nice...we arrived and the parking lot is chaos, the restaurant inside is chaos but friendly people. The restaurant felt poorly maintained from the cleanliness perspective, and when we got seated we were told only disposable silverware was available....back to the "chaos" theme of this place. The menu is expansive but mostly greasy taco truck themed. When the food came out it was mountainous in terms of quantity....off putting unless you're hungover or ready to eat for three people's worth. The birria broth was bland but the quesadilla was generously packed with meat and cheese. The fries topped with pastor were massive and loaded with a pound of meat easily...,however the food tasted greasy, pastor was too sweet, it was too much in many ways. There is one salad and veggies offered with a few of the dishes, otherwise most of the menu is greasy hangover food at higher than taco truck prices. The one item we did enjoy was the homemade Mexican rice..very delicious! This restaurant absolutely positively deserves five stars. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I'm pretty sure this is the best Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. I don't know how they flavor their food specifically their queso but there's something in it that's a little different from what I usually experience at other restaurants that just makes it amazing. We ordered surf and turf queso first and that plus my burrito, I was definitely full and had so much left to take home and was legitimately excited to eat it the next day. Met with a friend here in mid-July who suggested this place. Some other friends of mine had mixed opinions about this place ranging from "Lit" to "Banging" to "Aight" to "Blah" to "Awful". Such polarizing opinions/thoughts indicated I need to decide for myself. Be prepared to pay for valet or park somewhere far and walk here. Parking here pretty much sucks and has deterred many from wanting to dine here. I found myself having to park next door at the Denny's at the risk of being towed as I did not have any cash or feel the need to pay for valet. Walking inside, there's music blasting and noises of people chattering with food exiting the kitchen window. We didn't get any special alcoholic drinks; just a topo chico for me and some sort of strawberry lemonade for my friend which she loved although it was too sweet for me. Now for food, we started with the surf and turf eggrolls which are basically carne asada and about 8 shrimp served on top of 8 eggroll pieces which are stuffed with rice, cheese, and more carne asada. At $23, you might think it's overpriced but once you see the dish itself, you get your money's worth for the portion. The plate is enough to feed 3-4 people as each eggroll piece is rich and heavy due to the cheese and meats/shrimp. The dish is very messy due to the cheese and grease and there's not much flavor with the meat or shrimp so you may have to slather on the guacomole and queso that come with the appetizer. After eating 2 pieces, I was finished as I had to save room for my other items. For entrees, my friend ordered the birria quesadilla and I decided on the surf & turf taco and the pupusa taco (w/ chicken). The entrees took a while to come out, probably due to the volume of people within the establishment as all the tables and the bar was full and there was a 12-person party celebrating a birthday. When they finally arrived, they were larger than I anticipated with the birria quesadilla big enough to feed 5-6 people. I managed to eat the surf and turf taco (think of the surf and turf eggrolls in taco format). The taco is stopped with the avocado which adds nice texture and the shrimp on the taco is larger than what's on the eggrolls. However, it's still very greasy and at $8.50/taco, I found it to overpriced. I didn't eat the papusa taco as we took that and the quesadilla to go cause we were so stuffed from everything else. I gave the papusa taco to my girlfriend who loved it. Maybe I should've eaten that instead and gave her the surf/turf taco. But no turning back time. My word for this place would be "gluttony" since you will be committing sin here with their portion sizes and overemphasis on the heaviness of the dishes. I guess they choose to focus on the quantity part of the dishes instead of the flavor/tastiness. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again due to the parking and heaviness of the food here. But should someone invite me or friends insist on heading here, I suppose I could oblige. read more

We went inside after 2 hours around 9:30pm to check the status and were told there was 4 parties still in front of us, this was told by another employee. We went back to our cars and waited another hour and when we went back in at 10:30pm the same girl who originally put us on the waitlist when we went in to check how much longer our wait will be, she was told we went back in to cancel which was not true and that they called us several but received 0 calls or texts. We didn't get accommodated for having our time wasted and our only option was to try to come in the morning for a guaranteed seat but I work just like an average person in the morning and that wasn't going to work for me. We waited 3 hours for a table on a Saturday, only to be pushed back by parties over 15, even though the website clearly states they do not seat parties of 15 or more on weekends. I had to go up multiple times just to check on our status. On the final status check, they were about to push our party of five back again, despite repeatedly telling us they were just waiting on a party of five to leave. I asked, "How do you even know when people are leaving?" The host replied, "Each party has an hour and 45 minutes to eat." I was like, are you kidding me? We waited for about ten minutes in the valet line, and noticed how bad the parking situation was getting. The fact that the line extends into the feeder road off the highway is extremely dangerous and the situation is just waiting for an accident to happen. Since the whole parking situation was so severe, we decided to cut our losses and visit a different restaurant instead. I have to give this place its props. What I thought was going to be a place that was out of control and chaos was actually a pleasant experience. This is controlled chaos with a lovely and magical staff. Everyone who works here is definitely a wizard because it's truly magic how they are able to be kind, professional and attentive is truly a thing to watch. Of course it's not a huge space, yes it's crowded, parking is limited and yes they have valet but be prepared to wait because the food and the staff makes people want to keep coming back. Yes, lots of birthdays and huge parties come here. From the host staff to the bartenders to the waitstaff, i did not experience once of not getting what we needed (an any moment). Our wait was 1:30 long and it went by fast because we order margaritas at the friendly bar and stood to the side and waited. It went by fast because every one else who was waiting was kind and easy to talk to. It's a very social atmosphere. Drink list is huge and yummy. We did not leave this place unsatisfied. Alexis was our server. She was knowledgeable, nice and extremely efficient (she kept things moving). She guided us thru the huge menu to choose what we would possibly want and we were off and running (Thank you Alexis). We started with the Birria Queso. So yummy. The salsa that comes with the chips has the right amount of heat and is very flavorful. Before we knew it we were in each other's plates because we had to taste everything. The fajita and chicken enchiladas were delicious. The Birria mini tacos are so yummy that I could eat these every day. We had to have to go boxes because you get your money's worth here. No room for dessert, unfortunately. I would definitely comeback here but for me a weekday would be better than a weekend or Friday night to visit. I get why the wait is long here. OK, the truth is y'all Donna Leti's is actually good. The burrito was a nine out of 10. The barria tacos were 9/10 and my son's food was 8/10 basic quesadillas. The parking is insane. The restaurant was really really packed, but it honestly was worth the wait to me. The ambience was very nice family oriented and lit. The drink was about 6/10 . I'm a bartender so that expectation let me down for that drink. I was forced to sit on the Main Street and wait for a spot to open while also hoping to not be rear ended. Walking in I was seated quickly and my waitress came and took my drink order. I looked over the menu several times before deciding to try the surf and turf eggrolls. The carne asada meat had a funny taste to it and a chewy texture. The meat itself was very greasy. The shrimp that is just placed on top of a pile of meat had no flavor and was cold. After eating half of one I told the waitress I wasn't feeling it and asked for something else. The parking can be an issue there was a thirty minute wait when we got there at 8:00 pm which wasn't too bad they close at nine pm but give you a hour after until ten p.m to finish your dinner. The quesabirria plate comes with 3 tacos, yellow rice, and a bacon-wrapped jalapeño. The tacos are pretty big compared to other restaurants I've ordered birria at.
