I've never had a Doner before so I can't compare it to anything else. My coworker once told me about these and how that was all he could afford when he visited France. What I ordered .... Doner Wrap The Good .... Meat quality was quite good and not your average Gyro type of meat. You could taste the lamb. The Not So Good .... Meat was under seasoned, If you want extra meat it's another $8.00 and for a price tag of $16 plus tax without the extra meat, wow...Come on man! They barely give you any! I was disappointed in the Lavash Bread it came on. It was almost like a bad flour tortilla. I wish some kind of sauce came on top. I thought it came with a yogurt sauce, but when I checked the menu later on it did not. It definitely could have used some. I wish I ordered the pita bread instead. I saw pictures of it when I got home and it looks great! There are some other items on there that look good, but since I was underwhelmed for my first visit I doubt I will be back. It's not bad, but it's not that great either for what you pay and receive. And to be fair it did come with a small side of very tasty fries. read more

If you are hungry, go for 1.5 portion size. Its more than enough... Iskender and doner kebabs were %100 authentic. They would compete with the best restaurants in Turkey. But this place is pricey. We had 1.5 size Iskender & doner and two diet cokes and paid $100 with %15 tip. Expect to pay $50 each person even without deserts. read more

Authentic Turkish Delight in the Heart of Santa Monica. We had an absolutely amazing experience at Doner Corner today. Every dish we tried was fantastic, from the perfectly spiced lahmajun to Iskender doner served with ayran. The pide, kunefe, and rice pudding (sütlaç) were just as incredible, and the meal ended beautifully with a strong, aromatic Turkish coffee and warm tea. The quality of the food was top-notch, fresh, authentic.The staff and management were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. You can truly feel the care they put into both the food and the service. And the ambiance was cozy and warm, it really felt like we were in a little restaurant in Turkey. As someone who truly loves döner, I was excited to try this place - but it left me genuinely frustrated. From the moment I walked in, something felt off. The staff barely acknowledged anyone, and the lack of professionalism was hard to miss: disorganized service, confused order handling, and no effort to make customers feel welcome. Now to the food: I ordered their so-called signature döner, hoping at least the taste would make up for the high price. What I got instead was cold, dry, and utterly flavorless meat. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours-no seasoning, no juiciness, just sad slices of meat slapped on a plate without care. Then there's the pricing. They've imported the worst part of the current Turkish food scene: sky-high prices with no justification. Yes, inflation in Turkey has pushed restaurant prices to absurd levels-but this place is in the U.S. and somehow still clings to that same inflated pricing mentality. There's a massive disconnect between what they serve and what they charge. $25 for 180 grams of meat and a scoop of rice? Add a drink, tax, and tip, and you're suddenly paying $40+ for what's essentially a fast-food meal. Seriously? The portions are tiny, the quality is poor, and yet they price it like fine dining. And to top it all off--no table service, but they still expect 20% tips. For what, exactly? A Recommendation: Don't forget to try their $2 black tea - made with tap water and a Lipton tea bag that's been sitting around for hours. read more

I drive past this place several times a day and I'm genuinely glad to see it open and serving customers. However, I have to point out that the prices for standard menu items like the "doner in bread" or "lahmacun" are quite high. More importantly, the Döner - which I consider their signature dish - was disappointing. The bread is too thick, the meat portion is too small, and there's onion by default with no option to remove it. Compared to similar döner dishes I've had in other countries, especially in Turkey, this one definitely falls short. In my opinion, the doner needs improvement -- maybe some extra ingredients, bolder flavors, or a better toasting method. Right now it feels like it's being "rushed out" just for the sake of speed. But the menu has a wide variety of items, and it's clear the place attracts regulars, which is always a good sign. read more

The quality of the meat is terrific and delicious. A word of advice to the owner: the pricing strategy makes no sense in that there is barely any pricing advantage to ordering more meat. Usually when you order more of something the price is meant to be generally lower than two portion sizes of the smaller size. I understand the stance against sauce, though I think it would be nice to offer. Perhaps a very turkish dipping sauce just as a possibility. More advice to the owner: being more generous with the meat in terms of giving every customer a little extra meat with every order will definitely increase your volume of orders. I visited your place after seeing your Instagram posts, where the doner sandwiches looked big and tempting. However, what I actually received was barely a quarter of what you showed in your videos. This is very disappointing and honestly feels deceptive. It's unfair to customers to present something on social media and then deliver something completely different. Misleading advertising like this is dishonest and damages trust. You are essentially stealing from your customers by not providing what you promised.
