I had to wait for my car to get oil change across the street so I figured why not go to the Donut corner store to grab some donuts. My go to donut is the maple bar. That did not disappoint here. It was like flakes and very good. They had a blue berry Danish type pie filling donut. Do know quite what to call it. We asked to try it. The service lady was nice and microwaved it fo us for a couple seconds. She said there was extra cream cheese. It was so delsious. My bf got a Vietnamese cold coffee. I never had one so I tried sip. It was very good! The shop was small, but you can see service was very quick as people came and go as they ordered. Recommend coming here as they have variety of dounuts; including some with bacon, some vegetarian, as well as breakfast sandwich or breakfast bagels. You can look on line to see what they offered.

I guess this business was once called "The Donut Shop", but is now known as "The Donut Corner" since the business addresses are the same...Well, in any case, this generically named donut shop had fresh tasting donuts when I visited. Service was decent. There aren't really any donuts distinguishing it from other shops. Nothing was bad, but nothing amazing here either.

This a small, no frills doughnut shop. It smells amazing when you walk in & you better get there early because their display cases empty fast. I've been here more than once. The staff is always nice & helpful. The French Kisses were super popular with my entire office staff. I really enjoyed the cream/custard filled maple doughnut, too. So incredibly tasty and so much filling. I love their variety boxes ~ got a couple dozen so there was plenty of variety for all. Not a five star because I am quite particular about the flavor & texture of an old-fashioned plain doughnut ~ theirs is good.

Undercooked donut that was suppose to be a "mochi donut"

I came here for the French kisses I saw on tiktok they were ok but not what I expected. im not sure if it was the batch I got or not but the dough was flat, there wasn't any shape to it, it was soggy. we also got 1 regular glazed donut & 2 "mochi donut" which weren't it. they were under cooked. mochi donuts are supposed to be chewy & bouncy in a ball like form thats attached to each other to form a ring. but what we had was just undercooked donuts. no fluff, no crunch, no bounce just soggy overly sweet dough even my 3 yr said I'm done lol

A good donut shop that offers your basic favorites but also cool special donuts. They even have coffee and teas on the menu. Donuts were great, fresh, but maybe not as good as other donut shops. My favorite were the donut holes. Staff were very kind and the shop was clean and well maintained.

It says Donut Corner but whatever, I am pretty sure this is where I went. Dang donuts be expensive these days. California economy even ruining donuts for everyone. They have mochi donuts that are tiny and almost four bucks. Not sure what goes in them but four dollars does not go far enough to pay for just one small trendy donut. Cinnamon crumb is classic. Still almost two bucks. I'm sure I'll look back at this review in five years and it'll be almost five bucks. Maybe Jesus will have come back to rescue us from these CA overlords by then. At least the service is good.

Ok i found my new donut spot when in the area! Thanks to all you fellow yelpers! It's near the freeway exit and in a parking lot easy to access with Burger King in the same ( only mention for others to easily find) Once we came in we were welcomed but 2 great people! Who allowed us to look at their selection case. I'm assuming they deal with a lot of parents and kids since they were patient and kind. The bonus was even tho the kids were yelling what they wanted they waited till i confirmed with the kids chaos before grabbing and throwing in bags. Plus of course kids chose just off sight and the lady helping made sure to let us know exactly what kind of donut was being chosen. Glad she did cause my son doesn't like mochi and he chose a mochi at first. They also have coffees and teas with a set up of cream and sugar to add for your personal liking. I didn't get many pictures of all they amazing options they had and i forgot to grab those yummy looking "French kisses" ILL BE BACK FOR YOU! Kids ordered their sprinkle donuts, doz donut holes and i ordered a Thai tea. Coming to $13. I'm used to donut holes being only $1 but that's way back when i was in high school lol so i can't complain times have changed. I'll be back next Saturday I'm sure!

Absolutely disgusting bacon, egg, and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich. I had a feeling since it was microwaved. Super thin, like paper. Bacon was floppy, mostly white and soft. One tiny egg, which had pink spots on it. Strange and nasty. $11+ dollars (bought a bottle of water too) went into the trash can after 1 bite. I would not recommend this place for breakfast. read more

I love their donuts and they are conveniently located near my son's preschool. The service is always friendly and they get you in and out of there fast! Wish they stayed open until 330 though, since kiddo pickup is at 3. Just saying. Feed me sugar. read more

Just picked up a dozen this morning as donuts sounded good. First time as I like to support local businesses. The shop is small but clean and had a case filled with delicious looking donuts and pastries. The hardest part is deciding... Anyways, made most of my choices but can across a interesting looking cronut. I was told that it would be extra but not how much. I figured an extra couple of dollars. It turned out to be an extra $3.99. So my $12.99 dozen turned into $16.98. What? Oh well, I guess that I should have asked. Hoping that it would be terrific. Got home and went to split the very expensive cronut with the Mrs. I could not cut it as it was so sticky and doughy. It seemed way undercooked. Tasted like it cut. Overall, the other donuts I tried were solid. Good but not extraordinary. Probably 3-1/2 stars. Taking 1/2 star off for the ridiculous $3.99 premium for the cronut and a full star off for it being basically inedible. If you like supporting local businesses, stop by but stick to the basics. read more

you would think by now that the name on this app would change. however I went in there today and was tip shamed for not giving my money. First they were out of tons of their doughnuts, the workers weren't helpful nor friendly, so why would I tip? Then I came in to buy a milk and the worker told me I was being careful with "my little dollars, and to give her back the dollars". A tip is earnerd. It's not a guarantee just because I walked into your establishment. If you go to this shop make sure it's early or you'll have to settle for scraps. read more

A little quaint donut shop on Elk Grove Blvd near H99 tucked in a corner lot. This place has one of the best donuts in town. I have had a variety of their donuts and they are all good. They also sell cream puffs with custard filling and they are to die for. Literally melts in your mouth. They run out of donuts fast so the earlier you get there the better. Give them a try, you won't regret it. read more

Bait and Switch on the dozen. I got ripped off on prices. They don't tell you on surcharges until after it is charging the credit card. I spent a few minutes picking my dozen in a busy store. The person DIDN'T tell me ANYTHING about extra charges. Then instead of charging me $13.50 as advertised, they charged me over $20 and told me that most of my items had extra charges AFTER it charged my credit card. If I had known, I would've made changes. This an additional 50% surcharge over advertised prices!!! There are NO labels on the donuts to say which ones are extra, and which ones are not. They are NOT sectioned off or anything. There are NO prices listed anywhere on their menu. Absolutely unprofessional and a complete SCAM. I just got home and I don't even want to eat this garbage anymore. I will not be coming back here. Please do yourself a favor and stay away unless you like dealing with shady people who are NOT HONEST and NOT UPFRONT about pricing!!! read more

Spent $70 on 2 dozen and 4 extra donuts. So many added fees that I didn't know were added and should've asked about while I was there. Didn't realize it until I got my receipt. I can get twice as many as this at other donut shops for significantly less. Will not be going back. read more

This USED to be my favorite donut shop, but I will no longer be coming back to this establishment nor do I recommend to anyone. I ordered a PEANUT BUTTER donut, which is advertised in the photo containing a peanut-butter CREAM. Instead, I got a cheap knockoff with a thin layer of PB straight from the damn peanut butter jar. SERIOUSLY? Not even a PB-cream! AND NO TOPPINGS. See my photo. I feel so damn cheated. Just saw that another person had the same issue with the PB donut. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! The french kisses used to be my favorite but the recent order was NOT FRESH. I also ordered the strawberry croissant but the merchant called to inform me (which I appreciate) and let me know that it was out-of-stock and that she would refund me for the item. However, she lied and did not refund the item like she promised, and I had to go through DoorDash to get my money back for the strawberry croissant and their crappy PB donut. I even un-favorite them on my DoorDash app. This place has gone to shits. From now on, I will just stick to the "ELK GROVE DONUT" shop. read more

Went there a lot, until they raised their prices. It wasn't so much them raising their prices, but them not updating their menu. Brought it to their attention a few times, nothing changed, so I stop going. Donuts were ok, but nothing to raise the roof about. read more

I'm writing this review as I stuff my face with an awesome custard filled chocolate glazed raised donut! Ultimately 4 stars! I like the selection of the classic donuts. They did have one whacky donut- the bacon crumble maple glazed raised. But besides that, just good ol' O.G. donuts with great quality. I don't normally go for the custard filled donuts, but I lucked out with trying their custard cuz it's delish. AND, the donut was not crazy heavy. Actually prefect ratio of donut and custard. This place is small and therefore limited on the display of donuts. So I was missing on a couple go-to's... I would have liked to have a cinnamon twist and/or a cinnamon swirl. Also I love a ham and cheese croissant from a donut shop and wished they had that too. However their apple fritter was also great! So why not 5 stars? I like it when donut shops offer croissant sandwiches and/or breakfast sandwiches. But this place is still great! I'll be back. Just fyi this place is in the same lot as burger king, just on the opposite end of the lot. read more

Best Donuts I tried I've tried in Elk Grove. A sweet treat every once in awhile! I love the strawberry heart attacks. The added strawberry cream is soo delicious! We try and do online orders to guarantee what we want. The donuts here are a lighter airy texture, not heavy and dense. Delicious! read more

First Time customer ! And let me tell you I will be a regular customer from now on ! If you've never tried the croissant sausage egg and cheese sandwich OMG SO DELICIOUS and it's not little it has 2 sausage patties I believe one egg and cheese every bite was so delicious and that's not all I got an apple fritter and it was so yummy ! Everything is made with love and pride YOU CAN TASTE IT AND SEE IT ! highly recommended ! Sorry don't have pictures because I ate everything lol . Customer service was outstanding they gave me a free donut and some donut holes, I didn't realize it until I got home thank you so much for my first experience ( WILL BE RETURNING SOON ) I am going to recommend you to all my family and friends read more

The drinks were very good though, I'd say. My passion fruit tea had real passion fruit in it. The mango smoothie, also had real mango bits in it. Tip: order drinks then take a gander of the pastries, so while you're waiting for your drinks to be made, you can pick out your pastries. This was our first time here and won't be our last.

Large, very clean. All of the employees were friendly. It has a little bit of everything. It has a bakery, sandwiches, soups, stews, other items as well. They even serve an afternoon tea. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

On a chilly, rainy day, I treated my children to donuts. My daughter opted for mini donut holes, while my son selected donuts adorned with sprinkles. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their choices. It's worth noting that credit card transactions incur a fee of $0.40. The quality of their donuts is exceptional.
