Solid donuts of the standard glazed, maple, chocolate, etc. varieties. Fresh and yummy tasting, plenty of parking, no crazy lines, and reasonably priced at $9.50 for a dozen. The coffee was good, too, also decently priced at $1.30 for a medium cup. I much prefer this place to California Donuts which is closer door to my apartment but such a pain to visit, and totally overpriced. Do Not Go To Donut King Unless You Want Your Donuts With A Side Of Roaches! One morning I purchased a dozen donuts to bring to my office as a nice gesture. The donut box was taped up at the register upon checkout. I thanked them grabbed my box of donuts placed them in my car and continued to work. When I arrived at work everyone was excited about the donuts, grabbing them left and right. When I reached into the box I noticed A ROACH scattering across the donuts and I FREAKED! I closed the box to prevent anyone else from eating them and I immediately disposed of them (on a different floor to avoid the embarrassment!). I WAS MORTIFIED! I then called King Donut and explained the situation, they said, "please come back for a refund". The next morning I stopped by King Donut for my refund. The staff seemed to have not recalled my phone call or the situation despite my frantic behavior both over the phone and in person. They then had the nerve to ask me with a straight face, "Where are the donuts?" To which I replied, "They are in the TRASH where they belong! I had to get rid of them to avoid being fired on the spot!" The man behind the counter refused my refund as if I had completely fabricated the incident. I was APPALLED! This was the point where I had lost my cool, I tried to be respectful to the surrounding customers, speaking softly to the staff member but once he refused the refund and laughed off my complaint that's when I accepted defeat and exclaimed to the top of my lungs, "THIS PLACE IS RIDDLED WITH ROACHES!" Then I walked out. From time to time I pass this shop and I cannot believe it is still open, I hope the health department fines them and shuts them down before this happens again but from the looks of it and based on the below reviews it is too late. Moral of the story: KING DONUT IS INFESTED DO NOT EAT THERE! ZERO STARS! (Even though I cannot post w/o giving a rating, I'll list 1 star although they deserve none). read more

I've yet to try their drinks but I am sure they will be equally good. After three times going here I'm not coming back. It's bad enough to get ignored when you are the only one in the place and there's two workers. It's even worse when they act like they don't even like getting your donuts for you and ringing you up. They'll do it begrudgingly if they can even understand what you want. For each type of donut I have to ask three times. Nevermind the old man that only screams vulgarity. God forbid you ask for some ice cream too -- they just want you out of their store. The ice cream is cheap crap that's full of ice and the donuts are mediocre at best. Their store is dirty, dusty, and covered in graffiti. Don't let the door hit you (or the old man and lady scream at you) on the way out. This doesn't keep hours like regular donut shops so I always see its closed when I want one. read more

i've been here a couple of times now and with each visit, the service got even better. i think this donut shop is family owned and i always see the same woman at the cashier. she is always so sweet and friendly and actually remembers me every time i visit. she even throws in a handful of cronut balls with my order every time! free donuts? can't complain :) this shop has a huge selection of donuts, pastries, sandwiches, drinks which is good because i like having a lot of options to choose from. the donuts here aren't the best tasting in the world but it is cheap and still satisfies my sweet tooth. it really annoys me when people expect 5-star quality food at donut shops where the most expensive donut is like...$2 but that's just me. basically...give this donut shop a try! it's decent, it's cheap, and the staff here is extremely nice! read more

ok. I get what's so good about the donut holes now. After I side by side comparison (yes I compared it to the round glazed donut), I do prefer the donut hole. The bite size donut just baaarely gives you that crisp texture from being deep fried all around, and I think it has more glaze enveloping the donut. This shop seems to be upgrading everything these days. In addition to the added menu items (sandwiches and smoothies), they got new coffee/hot cocoa machines. Taste is the same, but there use to only be Hot cocoa and vanilla cappucino...now there's a Hot MOCHA!!!! I need to try this next time. Usually I like the combination of hot cocoa and cappucino. I know it's a big donut, but MUST TRY THE APPLE FRITTERS. Keep the fritter for a few days and eat, it'll be even better! ATM inside in case you don't have cash on hand. read more

so i went to donut king, i did not go there for the donuts, or the buttermilk and yes the ice-cream is horrible. no i didn't go there for those things. (they cleaned up the roaches). i went there for the BOBA!! they have lots of great flavors and they are decently priced unlike infuzion cafe(which may i add has hard crunchy boba) i tried the green apple with boba, green tea(my favorite) and milk tea. they were delicious. Star off because they only accept cash and made me rack up a 20 dollar withdrawal fee from their atm machine. read more
