As far as donuts and breakfast sandwiches go, this is the best in east county. We've been coming here since they opened and the quality is always consistent. The donuts are as fresh as they come. The family favorites are the blueberry cake, the red velvet with cream cheese frosting, the chocolate Bavarian cream, and the pink sprinkle cake for the little one. Always a crowd pleaser. The bagels are perfect with a New York style crunch on the outside and soft, fresh and pillowy on the inside. My husband and I love to get their breakfast sandwiches with egg and bacon or sausage on bagel or croissant. The owner is awesome. Super sweet down to earth neighborhood guy. Went early and was really happy with the donuts overall. This is the one place I could find that made gluten free donuts. They were great! They tasted like cake. Albeit I am not a big fan of cake, but these exceeded my expectations. They can add basically any topping you see on regular gluten donuts to them. As for regular donuts, they tasted great too. They offered 3 trays of cinnamon rolls, fritters, chocolate glazed, regular glazed, maple and chocolate bars. I kept it modest with 1 glazed 1 choco glaze.......4 minutes later I went back and bought 6 of each! Let me tell you these are the best donuts vegan or not you will find around! The texture was so pillow soft! The flavor was perfect, not heavy in the sweetness taste and the price was honestly the cheapest I've ever seen anywhere at $1.75 each! I told the owner this quality is so good you could sell these for 3-4 dollars like everyone else. He said "naw it's not necessary, I want to give people good quality at a fair price! Had my sugar craving in the morning so I scootered over to this spot. I had visited this place a while back before the ownership change and it wasn't too good. I got 2 sprinkled donuts for my roommates and they had mentioned that they were thicccer than usual which was nice. I had the ones in the picture. The cinnamon roll was alright, the dough wasn't as soft and fluffy as the Reese's one, so I'd give it about a 7/10. The other 2 were amazing - 10/10. I am always on the hunt for a good buttermilk bar and I was happy that this place served me up a pretty good one. As a result, this review will reflect upon the old fashion buttermilk bar with maple icing and the service. The buttermilk bar cost an even $1 and It was very good in flavor and texture. The doughnut inside was moist and with a medium denseness with a decent amount of little air pockets here and there. It flavors was good and had a bit of that buttermilk tang. The bar came generously covered with a well flavored sweet maple icing. I like the way it coated the buttermilk bar like a suite of armor, but was easy to bite threw and tasty to eat, no doubt. I was very happy with the old fashion buttermilk bar. They offer regular and specialty doughnuts ranging from $1 to $3. They also have half and dozen specials. They offer free Wi-Fi which is keen for a doughnut shop and have plenty of inside seating. If you need coffee or espresso, they offer that too. The last two were: a birthday cake-inspired confection and a chocolate-peanut butter one topped with butterfinger crumbles. All tasted so fresh! I heard that this place had gluten free donuts & I truly didn't believe it so I went to check it out yesterday morning with my daughter. I have celiac disease & haven't had a donut in almost 4 years. This place was awesome & had amazing, cake-like gf donuts that weren't dry at all! The man who helped me was very kind & gave me all of the options for my donuts (he said I could put whatever frosting & toppings on it). This was an amazing experience & I didn't get sick at all like I usually do from other places that say they don't cross contaminate. The only downside to this shop was the girl who working there with the guy who helped me. She was incredibly rude when the man asked her to help him out with something. She threw a hissy fit in front of me & the woman she was helping & I was shocked. If she was my employee, I would've let her go on the spot. When the woman she was helping made a joke to the man to lighten the mood about working this girl hard (which he clearly wasn't), the girl rolled her eyes & said something under her breath. I came here by accident LoL! I got gas at 7-eleven and then i saw this place so i checked Yelp. I went inside to see if i can try their Red Velvet but they already sold out that time. The guy behind the counter was so nice! I tried their Crullers? and Cronut and despite not looking as yummy as the red velvet both actually tasted great! The doughnut inside are soft and not too sweet, it's perfect with coffee.
