We were so worried we called a company with five stars. Called Door posh. Mark came out next day. Stated door was 30 years old and needed to be replaced. We were having reoccurring issues with our older garage door and motor combo, and after having a few different people come look with it with no luck other than the usual "We can replace the whole assembly for you" pitch, I was referred to Door Posh by a neighbor. My garage door busted on a Saturday nite and would not be getting a tech out until Monday. I called Doorposh back and asked if they could come out sooner which would be on Sunday? We all know how difficult it is to get any kind of repair tech out on a Sunday? Mark the tech that was coming out called me first to let me know that he would be arriving in 30 minutes or so, which I appreciated? When he arrived, he was very friendly and polite. Mark diagnosed the problem and made me aware that the home warranty company I'm with would not cover the damage. That's another story! But I needed the door to be fixed, as my car was stuck inside and need it for Monday morning. There was other problems with my door besides the two broken springs. The top panel had a crack on the top panel and also the motor was not mounted properly from the previous installation. Needless to say Mark replaced the springs and it took him a little time to install a support bar and properly mount the motor as he didn't want it to be sloppy like the work that was done previously. This Mark guy came out from Choice Home Warranty company and he was arrogant and mis-diagnosed my garage door problem. He said the springs was incorrectly sized and installed. I thought then how come it worked all these 20 years? The home warranty declined my claim and not pay for the repairs. So I called another contractor who is referred to me by my friend and he replaced the motor and no more problem. There is no problem with the springs. He had to consult with another person through the phone and between the two of them, they came up with this crazy diagnosis.
