We enjoyed our meal at Dos Mas. We were starving after not having eaten all day so we dropped in. The restaurant was pretty empty when we walked in. We sat down and ordered the chips and small guac. The chips were really good and crispy. The small guac was also a great size vs how guac at some other restaurants are more filler than guac. The chorizo taco was pretty good and my boyfriend loved the Baja fish taco so much he said it was one of the best fish tacos he's had. He also recommended it to our friends who joined us and they also loved the taco. We did order a few drinks, but they were just okay. Nothing to write home about. The coconut marg was probably my favorite. I definitely plan to come back next time I'm on the vineyard. read more

Been here a couple times when I've visited the island. First time, I went a couple years ago with a few people craving Mexican food, and I wasn't impressed. Thought the tacos I ordered lacked flavor, but the service seemed OK. Yesterday, my friend was craving Mexican and we were close by here. She suggested we go in. I told her the food isn't great and I wasn't too eager to eat here again. When we walked in, the guy at bar looked at us oddly and to be honest, I felt out of place there. Not sure if they are used to people of different backgrounds visiting their establishment, but no need, to show visible annoyance when customers walk in. It just threw my vibe off, and I've noticed other people report general rudeness from who appears to be the manager. I ordered a Houllini salad (sp?) which was pretty bland. The steak was already cooked, so you aren't allowed to specify how you'd like it which I thought was odd. It could have used some salt and pepper at the very least. I will say the salad was huge so portion was alright. My friend got a chicken quesadilla, and liked it but it's pretty hard to mess that up in my opinion. Our waitress shortchanged both of us, which was odd. I had to call her back to the table to get my correct change, and it seemed she wanted to tip herself 50% off a $20 salad. She claimed it was a mistake, but who knows...My friend also didn't get back her correct change but let it go. Not sure if that's a trick they got going on, but definitely not cool. No effort on taste or service. On a Thursday evening when you would think it should be active, it wasn't. The staff wasn't coordinated with greeting and seating in a welcoming manner. They were kind of like, oh, someone's here. We had good experience in past years, but it seemed like they have had a few "operator" changes. The food had no real Latin flavor or attempt or care for the finished product being close to a good Mexican meal. I didn't eat my chicken enchilada, which was a very poor attempt. I knew that everything was not going to be close to good on my initial assessment of the vibe in the establishment. Do not waste your time or money. Stopped in for a lunch (4 adults) and was very disappointed. I ordered the Z's fried chicken wrap which was basically just frozen chicken tenders in a very spicy sauce. Other items ordered from my group were a fish taco (100% frozen fish), chicken taco (weird gray inedible meat) and a beef taco which was so very greasy the taco shell fell apart. Also ordered was the chicken parm wrap, which consisted of frozen chicken, frozen mozzarella stick and jarred red sauce. To top it off, the fries had an abundance of chili powder on them, and were so spicy we could not eat them. The biggest concern was we could actually see the cook in the kitchen with NO GLOVES making the food, eating fries off the plates, and wiping his hands on his pants. Dos no mas. Our server was like Helen Keller on her first shift ever at a restaurant on air traffic control level difficulty except we were the easiest table of all time. Server said he didn't know any tequilas but he doesn't drink, even though he was smoking the ganj on my way to the bathroom?? Guy forgot he took our food orders, couldn't bring us waters and told us to go get our own, messed up our food order and THEN tried to tell us it wasn't that serious when the manager asked us how our meal was and we told him the staff sucks. Idk the guys name but his name should be Domb Mas because I couldn't think of someone more poorly fit to be a server at any restaurant. Dumb should be working in a role where he doesnt try to fight his table afterwards for telling him he sucks more than a roomba. read more

Went here on a recommendation from a colleague........ one of the best food decisions I've made in months!!! You'd be a fool not to head here and partake of one of the newest and best food experiences in OB. Hornitos mule is a ridiculous take on a Moscow mule that'll rock your world. The chips with cashew sauce(yup, cashew, and yup, amazing!!) and then followed up by their chicken rice bowl was a perfect meal. I lost track of how many great drinks I had but I do know that a spicey margarita will be on the top of my list again when I return.... which will be super soon. Great vibe ! Great drinks! Great food! Excellent service. This is the place !!! Plus they are doing breakfasts and the menu is mouth watering. This place is great! A true family business. Started by two brothers. We were served by the mom who also made their delicious key lime pie. They have a few vegetarian/vegan options which was great. I'm not vegan but I do enjoy trying new things. We had the vegan nachos which were great with their house-made cashew cheese. Most things were house-made including the tortillas and the chips. Went to try this place for the first time today with my mom. We had high hopes as we were both craving Mexican. The experience was a huge disappointment to say the least. The chips and guacamole were completely tasteless, almost inedible. We then waited an hour and a half for two tacos and a rice bowl - again, tasteless - not even seasoned with salt or pepper. We tried it once and it was just OK. Nothing special for us. I had their huevou s Rancheros and it was on the smaller side. The beans were fine but it was difficult to find the one egg. The plate was luke warm. The service was good for the porch dining experience. We thought the menu was s little pricey for what we got. Shrimp were so small you'd think they were meant to feed fish, Vegan nachos were terrible (the chips were flavorless, no salt on them at all) and the vegan cheese looked like mustard and tasted like nothing.
