The flat noodles were also a bit overcooked IMO. The gosh nann was interesting because it was this oily pancake with meat inside and that was pretty unique. One thing is that this place is very oily, so for those that are looking to avoid it, just be mindful of that. All in all not bad, but probably closer to a 3.5 star for me.

Two crispy taro root chips sandwiching a medley of sauces, then covered thoughtfully in sev (short, crunchy noodles) and topped with pomegranate seeds. It's not only beautiful but also delicious. 2. RIBEYE (5/5) Had no expectations that this ribeye would be anything special, but it was surprisingly excellent quality. We absolutely loved it and the side of broccolini that came with it (super flavorful). 3. EYLAN CRISPY CHICKEN (5/5) Crispy exterior without excessive batter, super tender + juicy chicken, and great aioli to pair. The chicken comes out piping hot (be careful) with seasoning that adds the slightest kick. 4. CHILLED GREEN GRAPE CHAAS (4.75/5) Such a refreshing start to the meal. Honestly, had no idea what this was when I tried it, but the best way to describe it for others who have never had something like this before is an unbelievably flavorful Indian version of kimchi (without the fermentation). One other note, my step-daughter just got off the plane from NYC and the first place she wanted to go was Clark's for a cup of their clam chowder- it's that good. So good that we ordered another one as our "dessert" lol. Soft pull-apart bread with perfectly crisped outside, so buttery and tasty, we asked them if we could just order this takeout in the future but they said no just dine in only hahaha. - Wagyu beef tartare tartlet: really tasty, bite-sized, and full of flavor - Hokkaido sea urchin: really good but honestly it's nothing that special, it's as delicious as you would expect of a high quality uni toast - Salt & pepper coonstripe shrimp: yum, so good, just the right amount of fried-ness - Lu rou lasagna: unique and very tasty, less heavy than traditional lasagna which is ideal - Amberjack: good and refreshing but not that much flavor, wouldn't get again - Wagyu kalbi: good but as you would expect of good wagyu kalbi - Pork collar: good but fattier if you like that - Crispy anchovy rice: our favorite right after scallion croissant, loved the crispiness of the anchovies, lots of flavor

Plan ahead and make a reservation: if you plan a few weeks out, you should be able to make a reservation at a time of your choosing. If you don't mind eating at later hours, you might be able to grab a reservation ~a week out (aside from major holidays). The vibe and service here is upscale comfort, a perfect spot for date night, or dining with an intimate group of friends. Parking is easy to find on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant. The top dishes I enjoyed across the two visits: 1) Must-try: Scallion croissant, rou song butter - yummy (subtle) flavors and delicious textures 2) Both the small bites were yummy, including the chicken liver w/pineapple & cilantro, and wagyu beef tartare tartlet w/smoked soy. 3) If you like wagyu / beef, get the Wagyu Kalbi & Banchan and don't forget the Ssam side order. Sure, it's a bit pricey but worth it. I love my greens and begrudgingly ordered a Ssam side order to go with the Wagyu Kalbi. It just feels like the Ssam should come with the Kalbi dish, y'know? But I was very glad I ordered the Ssam. It comes with several sets of carefully curated and washed/dried leaves (3 types) and they were perfect with the Wagyu Kalbi. 4) Lu Rou Lasagna was unique and yummy too. I would definitely return to Yeobo Darling - for special occasions, or when we feel like treating ourselves to some Taiwanese-Korean fusion fare.

What I ordered: Stanford roll: it had a nice mix of spicy tuna, crab, avocado, hamachi, with the sauces tying everything together really well Nigiri combo: 9 pieces of chef's choice fish and a lot of them were fish belly cuts which are fattyyyyy and melt in your mouth Hamachi lover: surprisingly my 2nd favorite (I normally don't like hamachi that much). It has hamachi, avocado and then hamachi on top, each bite was a big mouthful piece, so yummy Super salmon roll: this was probably my most favorite, especially the torched salmon and tobiko on top. Salmon wrapped around spicy salmon and cucumber. Overall, everything tasted clean and well balanced, nice rice ratio. Nothing felt off, I had no complaints at all. I kinda regret not going in person, def wanna dine in next time.
