Visiting from NYC and stopped by Dottie's today. Great selection of donuts and drinks. I had the pumpkin chai pecan donut and it hit the spot. The staff was friendly and the donuts were warm. The shop isn't too big but there's a seat or two if you want to sit and enjoy your treats

I had the pleasure of trying Dottie's Donuts in Wissahickon, Philadelphia at a yelp event last night it is a fantastic vegan bakery that offers a wide variety of delicious treats. From classic donut flavors like chocolate glazed and powdered sugar to more unique options like matcha and lavender lemon, there is something for everyone at Dottie's. The donuts were very fresh and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. I highly recommend Dottie's Donuts to anyone looking for a tasty vegan treat in Philadelphia. Whether you're a long-time vegan or just looking to try something new, I am personally not vegan however I found the chocolate pistachio donuts to be out of this world and actually didn't realize at first that it was vegan. You won't be disappointed by the selection and quality at Dottie's.

Good service. Fresh food and ever changing exotic donut flavor options. Coffee is fine but donuts is what you come here for. Bagel w slightly different flavoring is good. A lady w a black folding cart came in and claimed to want to apply to the store. She also claimed she was a baker of the original owners and had her own business and/or other experience afterwards. She had no resume and unsurprisingly the store had no paper applications. The clerk kindly referred her to look at the information on Instagram. Then she said she had an interest to be a taster and asked to sample a donut. The clerk was nice enough to hand her one free donut . They probably get this type of behavior a lot. It is sad to see this but this situation was handled well by the clerk so that it didn't potentially escalate. I might've not made the best decision as a clerk in his shoes but if I was in his position now, I would probably make better decisions in these kind of situations. Then this lady proceeded to tell me how delicious the donuts are. I concurred naturally but later on in my mind, thought that even though I love free stuff too, this is not the way to get it. We don't know the emotions and turmoil this individual lady is going through. She doesn't have much class at this moment but hopefully we can live in a better world where people can live more harmoniously with different backgrounds and different socioeconomics.

Made it in time just before closing and was greeted with a smile as always. Grabbed a delicious donut as always. One day at hope I'm not just passing by and can sit in to enjoy my treat in their quiet little shop.

Put the pipe down. Ain't no way this is 4 1/2 Stars. Overpriced. Overly sweet (fritter was straight sugar) Lack of variety. I did enjoy the boston cream - Not gonna lie. Let's be real though. 3 stars at best. Ok, resume smoking. Peace out.

I've tried Dotties Donuts a few times since my last review and my favorite flavors are the oatmeal cookie, blueberry earl grey and classic vanilla. The donuts are so chewy and have the perfect amount of sweetness. No need to worry about if they sell out of any specialty flavors because the classic vanilla is delicious. I also like the cinnamon buns. They have a subtle amount of cinnamon and a lot of glaze. I also tried the apple fritter and did not like it. The fritter I bought didn't have any apples, so I know that's not a flavor I'll buy again.

I've seen a lot of donuts in my life but never have I ever seen a mini strawberry shortcake on top of a donut! I could have just stared at this donut for hours though my stomach couldn't wait that long. I ate the mini shortcake first and then the donut. I didn't get too much of a lavender favor. I loved the espresso cheesecake cream in the powdered sugar donut. It's hard to believe it's vegan. I loved this and would highly recommend trying Dottie's donuts.

The best vegan donuts I've ever had! They are fluffy and light and have a great variety of flavors. Our favorites were the Oreo, strawberry, glazed and matcha. Check out their Instagram to see their daily flavors. The coffee here is also great! Highly recommend getting some donuts and coffee and walking over to Clark Park.

The service was great. It was my first time here, so they patiently helped me select a variety of donuts. Everyone who ate the donuts commented on how delicious they were - you couldn't even tell they were vegan. I'll definitely stop by when next I'm in the area. I believe it's take out only.

I was skeptical at first but these are pretty good for vegan donuts. Fluffy and you can barely tell they're vegan that's the best part! So satisfying and they get pretty creative with their menu. This place is great for a coffee chat and the latte art is so adorable!

I really did not want to sit at home with an entire box of donuts during quarantine. Well I did, but I didn't you know?....Anyway Dottie's made it way too easy for me to order them online and pick them up from their window the next morning. I am personally not vegan, but I do try to watch my meat consumption as I hear it could help with energy and acne so truth be told I didn't buy these because they were vegan. I bought them because they looked absolutely delicious and I am team Donut. While they were delicious, not exactly what I was expecting. They were much chewier and dense than I imagined. Don't let their delicate yeast donut appearance fool you. these are not donuts you can just keep popping in your mouth. I was full after a couple bites. Head's up though, you MUST pre-order these 24 hours ahead of time on their website and you can't pick which flavors they give you. Sort of like an omakase experience here since I guess they don't want to have to put up with picky consumers. Don't be weird. Enjoy the flavors they give you and be thankful that you're fortunate enough to be buying donuts at a time like this.

Best vegan donuts I've ever had !!! Only issue is I went back twice to get more and they were sold out HOURS before they actually close to go early if you want to get any.

What is the name of a only vegan restaurant. Totally raw served fresh only a few days a week with cooking classes on raw vegan dishes up in the germantown area of philly?

Hey, Twana! You are probably thinking of All The Way Live, on Germantown Ave. near Walnut Lane in Germantown. Their food is delicious!

The vibe is horror movie chic, if ya know what I mean. We were greeted and seated promptly and immediately checked out the menu to see what we should try. We asked for the macaroni balls as an app, but they were sold out. A few minutes later, we were told we could order them bc the chef had made a new batch. Yay!! So, we started with the Mac balls and seitan Korean wings. Our apps arrived and I must admit. I enjoyed the seitan wings more than I did the Mac balls. The Korean BBQ (seitan) wings had an amazing sauce that truly made me forget I was at a vegan restaurant. They were crispy, savory, and just delicious. I decided to go with the gyro and my partner went with the cheese steak for his entree. My gyro was yummy! The impossible beef, lettuce and tomato were reminiscent of a regular gyro. I truly couldn't tell the difference. My partner loved his cheese steak too. Monster vegan is a HIT!! Would we try it again? Absolutely!!

"Even if you're not vegan, go," she advised. Making a day-of reservation for 9:15pm on a Saturday in June, I walked in and was seated right away by a kind staff member. Within minutes, my glass of water was full and my equally kind server was walking me through the menu. The menu elevates vegetables and they source their ingredients from 16 farms nearby. (Most are in Pennsylvania.) Not overly hungry, I ordered two mid dishes and a dessert. (The menu is organized by small, mid, large, and dessert.) Each dish was masterfully executed and full of flavor. Suzuki Farm Kyuri Cucumbers were perfect. They come out as four large cucumber halves with all the fixings. Don't be shy. It's easier to eat them with your fingers per recommended by my server. The next dish was the Urban Roots Farm Sugar Snap Peas. The crunch of the peas with the wasabina oil complimented each other well. For desert, I ordered the Bomboloni with pistachio cream. The warm texture of the dough and creaminess of the pistachio cream was divine. I ordered another. It may be my favorite dessert I've ever had at any restaurant anywhere. If you love creative and quality food, go here. You won't regret it!

My boyfriend and I walked in on a Saturday night for a celebration dinner. They were very busy and…read morethey didn't have any open reservations but when we called and told them we would arrive in 30 mins, they saved two of the bar seats for us. For drinks, we ordered the elderflower shrub and sanguinello to drink. I liked the elderflower shrub since it was sweet and refreshing (slightly carbonated) but the sanguinello tasted bitter and medicinal. Since my bf really didn't like his drink, the server was nice enough to let us change our amaro drink to another elderflower shrub. For food, we ordered sourdough focaccia with tomato xo sauce (similar to chili crisp oil) and the potatoes dish. The sourdough was fluffy and delicious and the xo sauce gave it a nice flavor but it did make the bread greasy. The potatoes dish tasted good because of the creamy sauce that was drizzled on top. We also ordered the kyuri cucumbers and durum ravioli. The kyuri cucumbers had a fermented ramp ranch that gave the cucumbers a nice creaminess and the garnishes (spring onion and giardiniera) gave the cucumbers a nice texture. The durum ravioli had a cheesy taste due to the cultured cashew ricotta but I wasn't a fan. Overall, we would order the potatoes and cucumbers again, maybe we would order the sourdough focaccia (if you don't mind the greasiness), but we wouldn't order the durum ravioli again. For dessert, we ordered the macadamia ice cream with strawberries, shaved ice with rhubarb, and basil. Even though the ice cream was unique, we also wouldn't order it again. The basil flavor was a bit strong and the dessert tasted mostly like macadamia nuts and strawberries rather than ice cream. The ambience was nice though and even though we were not able to get a table, we had a nice view of the chefs' cooking. We would come here again since the menu changes based on what's in season. It was my second time at Pietramala and it was my boyfriend's first time and it won't be our last. :)
