We came here n a Sunday early evening (around 7pm) - a large group who had recently climbed St. Helens, we were all famished and ready to devour some awesome food and drink some delicious beers! While none of us are from Vancouver, we all live in Portland and dine out regularly. Let's start with the good: The taplist was awesome and our server was super great and offered us several beers to try to ensure we selected what we wanted. Now the less good: It took us FOR-EV-ER to get our food (and no I'm not just saying that cause we were hungry). I think from the time of order to food delivery was about an hour (and we were one of the only people there). No one was super impressed with their dishes. I ordered the pastrami sandwich, which was fine, but not life changing. Perhaps the worst thing on the menu was one of the nachos - made with kettle chips, it was too salty to even pretend to eat. Considering how hungry we all were, being disappointed by food is saying a lot. If I were in the area, I might come back for a beer, but would likely want to check out other offerings in the area. read more

I have been in here a half dozen times, and the service is awful. You sitl with an empty beer, trying to get their attention as they are on their phone or talking to the other bartender. There are only 12 seats at the bar. Shouldn't be that hard to keep an eye on the drinks. And it always seems to be someone new everytime. It's not that hard. read more

Stopped by today after some morning errands and were a little skeptical from the parking lot. Decided to check it out anyway and so glad we did! Lots of great beer on tap and they even had 2 for $1 fireball Jell-O shots! (My college life flashed before my eyes and I had to be convinced those weren't a good idea for a Monday afternoon...) A hidden gem on Hwy 99 that's new, stylish and delicious whether you're there for beer, food, or liquor. The location is not what you would expect but don't let that fool you, it's worth a visit. They have a large selection of beer on tap anywhere from IPA's to stouts to sours. They have something for everybody, so bring your friends and have a hotdog with a local brew. If you're a pork lover I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich or the Carolina dog. read more

Chicken tacos were awesome stopped in for lunch with my boss and had some tacos and a beer definitely hit the spot. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 was because the server was the bar tender and the server she was too busy but held her head high and trucked the the rush. There should be two people on the floor during busy hours we weren't the only ones waiting around for awhile. My boyfriend and I love this place but they need to put on servers. The bartender can't serve the whole place on their own. The bar rail is small and it's uncomfortable when their is a long line waiting for a drink. There is multiple tables here and there's no reason why they shouldn't have a cocktail server on. If a bartender has a full rail and a line at the bar, they aren't able to be attentive to all guests. read more

Second visit. First one was great service, food and atmosphere. Second visit today was good food and atmosphere. Service on the other hand was bad. One Bartender/server was short and unprofessional. When I asked to order food, it seemed like it was a chore. On my second request, server said that the other server would help me. Jazmine was helpful. It's a Sunday and it seems like one server was angry to be there. I won't be coming back and neither will the rest of the table. I think the best part of this place was the staff, they were really friendly and patient during busy dinner hours. Unfortunately, my buddy got food poisoning from their chicken sandwich. Not an impressive sandwich either, it looked like a pre frozen chicken patty you would see at a fast food restaurant. This place is pretty chill. Their beer is good but most importantly their whiskey selection is awesome. Sure, there are whiskey bars that may have the Elijah Craig 23 but for a local brewery I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. Had a hand full of whiskeys I really enjoy. The happy hour menu is good, the food has a couple items that are just ok, but the others that I have tried are bomb. The staff is friendly and allllll smiles! The 2 stars are for atmosphere and beer selection. I ordered their steak bites and a pretzel. I was Starvin Marvin, and was looking forward to the steak bites. For $11, I got a PALM FULL of meat. Granted, it was cooked perfectly ( it should be with a sous vide), but still had a lot of fat on it. So not only do you not get a decent portion, you cannot eat it all because of the excess fat. The pretzel was alright, but served with PUMP CHEESE. It seems like the bartender was more interested in chatting with her friends, than making the rounds. I may come back, just not anytime soon. So disappointed!! We really looked forward to our date night out and picked this place because we had a good experience two years ago. No comparison to what we experienced before and I'm so tired of restaurants using Covid and the Pandemic as an excuse for shitty food and below par service. We were there this evening and ordered a Beer and a glass of wine, along with the Pulled Pork Nachos and Chicken Strips with fries. The Wine was warm, the Nachos came with 7 pieces of tiny pork ( we counted), but a ton of BBQ sauce and melted cheese and it was served luke warm at best, with cold spots all through the chips. The Bartender who brought it out said they were out of strips after she served us one plate, so one of us got to eat and the other had to wait. We had to change the strips to popcorn chicken and after ordering that she came back telling us that she was wrong again and they do have strips and good news, they were putting them down now. W.T.H.?? After 15 minutes and still no Chicken, our drinks were done, we had enough of the Porkless Nachos after picking through half of it, so we cancelled the strips, but made sure to tell her that they were probably up in the back and waiting under a heatlamp for the past 10 minutes. She did apologize, but what a disappointing evening and we won't go back. It also didn't help that cigarette smoke was flowing into the building because one inconsiderate smoker ignored the 15 ft. law. We came here on a Saturday for lunch. I ordered a fry bowl and my husband ordered a burger. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was ok. I suspect we were there at a normally slow time, so a lot of staff were congregating in at the bar casually. It made us feel a bit like outsiders, frankly. If not for the food, we might not care to return because of that. Yet I would recommend this place to anyone based on the food and drinks alone! read more

The mandatory rotating beer selection is packed with interesting local microbrews, a full cocktail bar is also an option, and the under advertised food is fantastic. The house chili mac 'n cheese really stands out. The service may feel slow but hey, this isn't a drive through. It's a great local Tap House and after you interact with the bartender and chef you will be reminded that being personable and serving up great beer and food is a luxury that shouldn't be rushed. The atmosphere is laid back but lively. They also have an internet enabled jukebox, a pool table, and at least 8 flat screens located around the room to watch a game. Sat at the bar and had prompt yet crappy service. I waited for a bit and finally used some bar napkins to wipe all the crap off the bar, while both gals watched. The Bob's nachos were terrible. I didn't notice they are potato chips and not tortilla chips. About 1 handful with a little hamburger with a couple beans, shredded cheese, and sour cream. Yuck. It was supposed to be chili. LMAO The hot dog came plain on a cold bun. 6 bucks? it was a good dog, but not that damn good. If you want to go in and drink it is a good place for that. Lots of tap beers, friendly folks, and a good quasi sports bar atmosphere. So I decided it wasn't even 2 stars. I just lucked out that they had a decent stout on special. Consistently friendly but maddeningly slow service. I get the feeling they may be understaffed as I'm regularly met by good cheer, but seemingly harried servers. This time we ordered two meals: Caesar salad and a bowl of chili. The Caesar came about 15 minutes before the chili. Eating slowly and sharing bites the salad was finished a few minutes before the hot dish arrived. It also appears, based on the volume of the music, D.B.T. is emulating a rival brewery just north on highway 99; Brother's Cascadia. Gotta shout to be heard here too.
