Alright listen here mfers.. I've been gate keeping this place for years but I just can't take it anymore. This place is electric!! I don't care if you need a good 6pm date spot for your special someone or you stumble upon this place at midnight and you had 1-2 too many beers. This place will rock your socks off. The vibe in here is amazing, the staff is so helpful and chill. But they are true professionals and can help find what you will like. My wife & I have been coming here for years and it is our favorite spot hands down. If you come here and try it.. keep it to yourself and don't be like me telling all of you. This place is a gem!!

My friends and I went here after a tennis match. The inside was very dim, warm, and loud. I didn't mind the noise, but would understand if others did. The inside of the restaurant was warm with only a few of us in there, so it'd be smart to use their heat covered patio area! The workers were very accommodating/friendly and even gave us recommendations on what to order. My friends ordered the ramen and nachos (nachos photo was horrendous cause I couldn't get flash to work haha) The ramen was very warming and rich. It was a great pick me up for the cold night weather we've been having. Surprisingly enough, the burger I ordered was really good. The meat was juicy and crispy with fresh lettuce, pickles, and a nice sauce. I think my only complaint is that the bun was very big, so I felt the ratio of buns to meat/everything else was a bit off. Other than that, the flavors were great Giving this 4 stars because the inside of the restaurant seemed to be extra steamy and while the vibes were nice, they were a little off due to the music blasting! Overall a great place for late night bites!

I've never had such bad potato salad. Don't get it. Other than that, pretty good! Vibes are great and big groups would be great here. The cocktails are delicious. Especially the lemon piña colada. Staff is wonderful and service is quick. Ambiance is lovely. I love the hanging plants and the patio is so nice. The soy curl banh mi tastes yummy. Burger is good. The potato salad is dry and somehow bland - could use love in the ways of salt and mayo.

A vibe!! Jams are just right, good volume, bar staff are awesome and no nonsense and friendly. Fries are shoestring style and yum. Ppl around me seemed to enjoy the ramen. Patio's got heaters and lots of space to spread out.

Double Dragon is one of those places that makes you want to come back before you've even finished your first meal. The menu is inventive without trying too hard--comfort food at its core, but packed with bold, unexpected flavors. The Korean fried chicken sandwich is a must-try: crispy, juicy, with just the right amount of heat and tang. Their bao buns are soft, savory, and totally craveable, and the kimchi tots are addictive in all the right ways. Whether you're going full meal or just snacking with a cocktail, the food consistently hits the mark. The service here is just as impressive as the kitchen. Staff are friendly, easygoing, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there--which goes a long way toward creating a welcoming vibe. They're quick to offer recommendations, happy to walk you through the menu or beer list, and keep things moving even when the place is busy. It's the kind of service that feels casual but dialed-in, with zero pretension. Ambiance-wise, Double Dragon nails that quintessential Portland aesthetic--laid-back, a little funky, and full of personality. The space is cozy without being cramped, with cool art on the walls and a mix of seating that works whether you're flying solo at the bar or grabbing dinner with friends. There's a slightly gritty charm to it that makes it feel like a true neighborhood spot, not a polished chain or trend-chaser. If you're in Southeast Portland and craving something flavorful, filling, and totally satisfying, Double Dragon is well worth your time.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. They serve Asian fusion food. It's a cute spot with good vibes. They have indoor and tons of outdoor seating. We got the ramen and the banh mi. Both were pretty good, solid flavors but didn't blow me away. It was a portion size. The orange julius was a good non-alcoholic drink, very refreshing.

Went on a Saturday at 10pm and had a great banh mi with soy curls and a couple cocktails. The banh mi bread was a perfect crunchy/soft combo and the sandwich overall had spicy/sweet; fresh/fried and soft/crispy down well. Cocktails were well prepared and balanced, and the ambiance was low key but active - nice indoor and outdoor seating. Service was prompt and skilled. Would love to go again and try the nachos and ramen.

I had been craving their ramen so I got my whole family of 5 (baby included) together to eat at DD. Got there a bit before 5:30pm. When we order our food and drinks, the bar man informs us that "minors"have to be off premises by 6pm. Apparently he was referring to our baby. Ok. Nevertheless we placed an order and hurried to finish our meal by 6, which was unexpected, not relaxing, and unfortunate. Not 2 minutes had passed past 6 when the bar man comes looming over our table and basically kicks us out. Yes, we understood the situation, but the vibe/aura/feeling he gave our family was blunt and ungracious. To top off a terrible visit, the IPAs and cider we ordered were flat & flavorless. Also, the ramen I ordered has fizzled in flavor and craftsmanship from the last time I had it. If only this particular bar man had been just a bit more patient we wouldn't have felt so undervalued and snubbed.

Nice corner spot for food and drinks! You order at the bar and bus your own table! We got the nachos, a burger and two Bahn Mi sandwiches. 100% recommend the soy curls Bahn Mi and fries. Ended up taking half hone it was so much food.

Great drinks though a little bit pricey. However, they do offer Rainiers if you're a beer drinker on a budget. The food is excellent. The rice bowl is fantastic, as was the Ramen. Food prices were reasonable. Would return for that alone. Ambiance is nice and they have an outdoor patio for nice days.

My view from the heated patio! So cozy

Yyuuummmmmmy drinks! I would so recommend the colada limonada! Wow so delicious. The prices were a bit steep, but understandable so! This is probably the best cocktail I've ever had! And the bartender who served me was so charming and helpful and described the drinks so vividly. Awesome outdoor and indoor seating and great music choices. Visit!! Visit visit visit!

The front patio was a nice place to enjoy golden hour and our service was exceptional. My dad got a brandy alexander, mom got a piña colada on the rocks and later a pink lady, and I got something like a Negroni (they make Negronis but I asked the server to choose something interesting and the result was absolutely splendid). Cheers to the professionals who helped make our visit even more special.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.
