The 00 Caprese and Carciofo that we tried are so bright and fresh and the burrata was so smooth and creamy. We had the Funghi and Speck pizzas and I couldn't stop eating ...the mushrooms on the Funghi are so scrumptious and the speck aka prosciutto was so tasty and had a generous amount. The star of both pizzas was the chewy thin crust. The service was very good and the restaurant had a dark, cozy, neighborhood bar vibe. When I read this place was inspired by a japanese neopolitan style pizza, i knew i had to try it. Crust: on the thinner side but so crisp, airy and fluffy. They managed so many textures in just the crust itself. The almond wood fired oven left a pleasant light smokey taste to the dough. This place is uh-mazing!! My husband hates pizza crust, and he ate this crust. I drink scotch but ended up with a fancy cocktail. The carpaccio, the garlic bread, the pizza with gem leaf caesar salad.. THE TIRAMISU was phenomenal. All of this while having an amazing connection with Zack, our bartender and friend for the evening. He paired drinks, gave us fun insight into the menu, and was delightful. The pies and drinks at 00 Pie and Pub are remarkable: I didn't think I could every be impressed with a Neapolitan style pie again after all the good ones I've had in the past, but 00 Pie really was amazing. What stood out to me was the almost ethereal char on top of an impossibly light, pillowy crust that was perfectly chewy without the overglutinous pull that requires work for the teeth to tear apart. Hard to say in just a few words - but it was remarkable and I was surprised to find myself impressed. Also, the toppings were of nice quality and wonderfully distributed - the whole thing was just a delight. Wow. And the drinks were the same way - wonderful. If you're on the fence, make a reservation and get over to 00 Pie and Pub - we were impressed and are very happy we went. (The room is no big deal. Awesome building near china town. Beautiful brick wall across from a large full bar area. A view across the end of the bar and you can see the wood fire pizza oven and prep area. Hostess was great, they were busy and had a long wait for a table but she was able to get the four of us on the corner of the bar which ended up being a great spot to see some action in the bar. Ordered a Margherita pizza while we looked at the menu. The Margarita came out real quick, perfect char leopard spotting mainly on the cornicione with a light pattern of char in the bottom of the pizza. Excellent dough, 48hr ferment according to staff, beautifully risen crust soft chew throughout but slice still held out straight unlike a lot of floppy neopolitan pies. Sauce was simply amazing and mozzarella was high quality, creamy and nice chewy texture. Large fresh basil leaves and olive oil! 5 star pizza for sure and immediately makes it in the top 10 pizzerias in Vegas and top 5 Neapolitan pizza spots in town. Also ordered a Funghi Pizza and a Burrata E Pesto. They nail red sauce, white sauce and pesto sauce, cheese is incredible and the dough is the star of the show. Staff was friendly and quick throughout the hour we were there. Small but great beer menu with a good variety of styles. Draft and Cans! I ordered the Double Zero Ale brewed locally by Tenaya Creek, great to see they are supporting several local breweries. Overall an amazing experience! Vegetarian friendly. Clean restrooms. If you are a tourist, this is a worthwhile trip off the strip! Locals, check this place out soon as I imagine they will only get more attention and get busier and busier. I have so much so say about this brand new spot so let me try to summarize this the best way I know how... For starters I'm glad that this place was recommended to us by a friend when we asked what her favorite pizza place was. She is in from Brooklyn and me being from Chicago knowing pizza, I took her recommendation seriously. That being said, had it not being for her, there would have been no way of knowing what 00 (red neon sign) means on spring mountain. Is it Asian bbq? Sushi? Hookah bar? The entrance is not self explaining either and neither is the entrance and door, BUT... I AM SO GLAD WE WALKED IN.. For starters, the place was very neat and clean. It wasn't a busy night but the area was open and the host welcomed us with a smile and even let us pick our own table. We walked in and can feel a vibe. They had a LIVE Dj on a Sunday night (something new) playing all sorts of music and he did an amazing job at pleasing every type of crowd. Our server was RYAN - wow, what a charm! She was smiles from hello how are you today, to, thank you have a great night! This girl was so beautiful with a personality to match. She was patient explaining the menu and in making her recommendations. We ordered the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and the 00 beer and a wine. Ryan offered us an appetizer on the house so that we can sample it. We ordered the Caesar and it was different. There was a dill, vinegary, anchovies taste BUT it did not disappoint. My boyfriend loved it and says he would order it again. I'd like to move on to this pizza specifically. This pizza is now rated one of my favorite top 5 pizza places in Las Vegas. You can taste the quality and care that went on to making this pizza. Had me thinking, is is the yeast? The length of time rising? The water? I have no idea but the mozzarella was of great quality, the sauce was light, and the pepperoni was savory and salty. But my favorite party was the charred crust - OMG I promise you, you will never ever taste a dough like this! I can't even explain it, the combination of char and sea salt like tasting crust is unexplainable. I don't know what they add to that dough or what magic they use when making but only by trying it will you understand what I mean and when you do, please tell them it was me that sent you Lastly, The vibe is in this entire place is what you want when wanting to hang out and vibe. The entire staff was engaged with their customers and the employees talked amongst each and it was clear they all got along and enjoyed working together and showed pride to be a part of this opening. They were all happy and they made it feel so comfortable :) That said, I enjoyed the vibes, the pizza was one of the best I've had, the staff and customer service was outstanding, and the price and location are great! However, Id like to provide some feedback. Maybe identifying what 00 means outside so that no one misses out on this greatness!! I'm hoping my review can help out :) I'd also like for there to be a bigger pizza. The size of the pizza wasn't clear on the menu so we weren't sure what we should order so we ordered one to start but identifying the size or how many people it serves would be great. My other recommendation is to allow for people to create their own pizza. We wanted a margarita like pizza with pepperoni and spicy sausage but unfortunately we were not able to do so. The pizza was still outstanding!! Lastly, I have to point out the little details that I, as a customer have notice. This place has that bougie toilet paper and hand soap. I know this detail may seem silly to some people but to me it tells me that the owners spending money on their customers because they want their customer to have the best experience. Every once in a while, you get an opportunity to eat in a joint that will eventually be the en vogue place in town to grab some sort of special meal. Pie & Pub is this such place. After a strong Michael Uzmann recommendation a week ago, I was able to finally come in and try it out right as the doors open at 5 PM. A perfect time to get something fresh, before the chaos ever begins. What I experienced with something far greater. When someone you trust as a pizza expert tells you that the pizza at this place is better than 90% of anything they've tasted in the vast reaches of Italy, and better than 99% of anything they've tasted in the United States, you go. You sample for yourself. In this case, you win. The Diablo was exceptional. The red sauce, Fior Di Latte, spicy sausage, pickled vegetables, roasted peppers on that 00 flour-made dough was picture perfect. Bordino with caramel, sea salt and candied nuts paired with Evil Twin Brewery's Imperial Biscotti Break is gloriousness. The service is fantastic, the ambience is stellar. This could very well be come THE Mecca for pizza here in Las Vegas. Make sure you get in there before the lines start building, or you have to make reservations weeks in advance. We had high hopes for the crusty goodness that we saw online. We came in and ordered garlic bread and the pepperoni (we are pep lovers so we kinda judge a pizza place on a solid pepperoni). First, the garlic bread was such a let down :( Sadly the 3 cold focaccia slices smeared with garlic and furikake did not do it for me. It was kinda sweet and garlicky, but like another review stated, oozing cold garlic? I asked for marinara on the side and I will say the marinara made it better. Second, the pepperoni stated it had garlic chili crunch oil on it which sounded great in hindsight. The crust was nice and charred which we liked, but the toppings and oils slid right off the second we pulled for a slice. After adding double zero sauce to dress the pizza, it really was subpar and underwhelming. It just wasn't worth 22 dollars for a "12 pepperoni. I really do suggest less is more but it is meant to be japanese fusion pizza...Service was friendly. It was very quiet and the ambiance was cute, the indie music was a vibe I guess. But truly, $48 tab for ginger ales, 1 pizza and 3 slices of cold garlic focaccia sticks wasn't ideal. I'd hold the furikake and garlic chili oil, it would have been pretty solid without it. read more

Neat hidden gem! Don't let the shopping center keep you from waking in. The staff was helpful with suggestions about the menu. Took what we had to say into consideration for whiskey choices and nailed it. Walking in made my husband and I incredibly happy because the lighting and decor of the place felt like a perfect date night place. We order two different pizza and loved both of them. I won't describe the deliciousness of it all, only recommend one experiences it themselves. Also, the pizza cook moves slower than molasses. The server was too busy talking to her co-worker and didn't really check up on us. They also charge $2 per sauce and they are tiny. I had always wondered what that ØØ sign was and I happy to report its a solid pizza/bar in the middle of Chinatown. I got the chance to stop by Double Zero last week (June 2024) and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. We ordered the Fungi and Short Rib pizzas along with the Wagyu Carpaccio. It was all tasty especially the Fungi pizza which was my personal favorite. The pizzas are big enough to share between two people. There is a full bar and a decent happy hour as well. Service was quick and server had some great recommendations. Parking like everything else in the strip mall is a nightmare so plan accordingly. read more

Read so many reviews of this place and decided to give it a try last night. We left our house to drive about 30 min to get here and I was able to get a last minute reservation as we were driving. If you like to be able to speak to the person you are dining with, pick somewhere else to eat. The music in here is super loud and it's not a very big space. We started with a Caesar salad (not pictured) which was decent. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Margherita pizza. The pepperoni pizza arrived first and we finished it before the margherita arrived. I can't remember our waiter's name, however, he comped our iced teas and gave us a free tiramisu for dessert since it appeared to take so long for our food to come out. The pizza was fine. Sort of like Neapolitan style but less floppy. I spent a few days in Naples last September and ate pizza every day while I was there. The parking lot for this place is an absolute nightmare as other people have indicated. Lots of restaurants in this plaza. We ended up parking in the back alleyway behind the plaza. If I had the opportunity to eat here again, I would, however, I probably won't go out of my way to eat here again. read more

It's not a huge restaurant and it seems like they can get pretty busy so try to get a reservation if you can. Service was overall very attentive and sensitive to how long your order might be taking. Double Zero really lives up to the name. To start the garlic bread had chunks of garlic oozing out of the bread making it squishy and soggy. Not even bread, I ate straight garlic. The Tokyo wings were cold and not crispy at all, the most flavor the wings had were from the lime. The pizza was the only saving grace however grace was not found when I bit into my marinara pizza and got a mouth full of olive oil. The pesto pizza was good but not good enough to save this review.
