This has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots. The sandwiches are outstanding--fresh ingredients, generous portions, and packed with flavor. The portions are so large that I was able to eat half my sandwich with chips for lunch and save the other half for dinner. What really sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. The young lady behind the counter is absolutely fantastic. She is friendly, professional, and incredibly customer-focused. Even when she's busy making sandwiches and helping customers, she does an amazing job acknowledging everyone who walks in. She somehow makes every customer feel seen and welcomed without taking away from the person she's currently helping. That's a rare skill and speaks volumes about her work ethic. The prices are very reasonable, the food is consistently fresh, and the service is top-notch. Honest review, I saw this place on social media so I decided to come check it out. I ordered a pastrami sandwich. IMO The sandwich was small for 17.50 (no drink or chips). I know it isn't subway but still. The sandwich wasn't terrible but it was not amazing either. The staff were nice the man cutting the meat was cool he reminded me of my uncle. The inside looks like they're in the beginning stage of setting it up with gray plastic tables inside. I decided not to eat there because it was too quiet. Maybe if they had light music I would've wanted to eat there. This spot is a one and done for me, nothing against this place different strokes for different folks. Oh my God! What a great new Lunch spot in Santa Ana and just minutes from Cost Mesa. I want to give a Shout out to Mario, Jaylene and Jessie. Jessie met me as I was coming in and immediately felt welcome. Jaylene was busy making some of the best Sandwiches I've ever seen and still found time as she was working ontellmme about the Menu as well as put out a Sample of the Chicken Salad. Mario reflected on how the Shop came to be and after hearing about their beginning I truly hope ,wish and pray nothing but the best as they move forward with this amazing place. Uncle who they credit everything to was working away and answering questions while simultaneously working like a Boss does. Laylene recommended the Tuna Melt. Since Gout is kicking me in the Ankle today that was a good recommendation. Man I'm not even into Tuna like that, but let's just say I am now. Everything was fresh and packed with the best of ingredients. I also tried the Mac Salad as well as the Potato Salad. Both were exceptional and better than good. There is just something special about a Restaurant that every person working takes pride into what they serve and they did that in bunches. I'll be back tomorrow for the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The Chicken Salad reminded me of the kind that is served at Restaurants in 5 Star Hotels. Honestly, the Sandwiches are huge and can be split or save the other half for later. By the way , they also have a special with double Meat for $4.00 more. I can't even imagine. I got the regular and the other half is for dinner. This one is CERTIFIED!!!!! Saw this place going viral on Instagram so I had to come in and try. Came in around 2:15 on a Friday and there were constant customers. We purchased the Tuna and pastrami sandwiches. OMG the tuna is to die for. Any sandwich IMO that includes sprouts is a yes in my book. The kind owner also as a courtesy gave us a side order of the potato salad. I will be back soon! read more

Got a message on insta to try out this hole in the wall place for sandwiches. Pics looked decent but upon getting my sandwich and sitting down ready to demolish it, I was sadly disappointed becase the meat was very minimal (Pastrami on Frech Roll) and I think Subway gives more meat. I expected a bit more based on the pictures and knowing how most "East Coast Deli" sandwiches are done. It'll be wrong for me to judge this based on one sandwich, but for the price, I was expecting something somewhat close to the "Hat". Staff was super friendly and they provide great customer service, but the amount you get for the price was really disappointing. Sandwich and chips $20. I wont post a picture because its a new business and they want to get established, but I might suggest visiting other deli places and see why they are successful. read more

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the excessive wait time. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, I was informed that there were still about 10 orders ahead of mine. During that time, my ticket never appeared to move from where it was initially placed. Given the delay, I requested a refund and had to return to work without being able to eat lunch. I understand that new businesses can experience high demand, so I may consider giving it another try once the hype dies down. read more
